They also have clothing here and shoes as well. The store is a medium size and the employees are nice. They asked if I needed any help but I just told them I was browsing. Great apparel, active and streetwear store on the main floor/middle level of the Burbank Town Center just before Macy's next to the Van's store. I typically stop in to see if there's anything new and exciting for my teenage nephew, but have been prone to some great deals on outerwear especially in the wintery and cold times. The also sell a variety of skateboards and snowboards here as well, pretty sure my roommate got his last one here a while back. The service is always great, but the deals aren't always there... with Zumiez you get some unique clothing, shoes, accessories and more you would never find in a department store or most places so it makes sense for things to run a touch higher. Occasionally the markdowns and percent off items aren't too bad and they do have good sales when they do! Clothing for men, women, teens and kids of all ages as well as sizes ranging from small to XXXL. Definitely noticing more competitive pricing and items in 2023 I have my eye on for family and friends as well as myself. And even when you don't find anything specific the staff here is crazy personable, outgoing and enjoyable. read more

I bought a everything custom to build my skateboard, I only am giving 2 stars because I bought an almost board that had a manufactured defect so I took it to the store and surprisingly, one nice employee swapped it for a new, more expensive deck. Everything is really expensive compared to other local shops or Amazon. Most aggravating of all was buying brand new Ricta wheels that literally had no seat to hold the bearings, the wheels destroyed my bearings, instead of swapping out for new ones at the store I had to send them in to the manufacturer, I am getting replacements but I now have to wait another week before I can skate again. I called in Wednesday and this store was the only one that had her size in store available on hand. She tried it on in the dressing room and left behind her Apple AirPods. 4 days later my 12 yr old daughter realized she didn't have them and she looked somewhere and located them in Burbank. That's when I knew it was at the only store we went too in Burbank. I called and explained and I couldn't believe how honest the staff was. My nephew bought a shirt that I noticed had tiny little holes on the entire back of shirt..I was okay we are returning that, even thou he took off the tags, we still had the receipt. So off to the Burbank Media Center to return the shirt.. as soon as I walked in I feel in love with a zillion tops for girls and the knick knacks of belts, land yards, stickers, skate decks, shoes, etc... ...so went to the store employee, showed her the problem and receipt and was no problem I'll be right back... A few minutes later and she's all oh where out of the shirt but you can exchange it for something else.. okay.. nothing not to be expected.. Not even a turn around the counter we spot the shirt she "couldn't find" .. I bring the shirt to the counter and am I want this one.... OMGOSS where did you find that? - Are you freaking serious.. I think that Mohawk and pink hair color has gotten to your brain. - I can only guess the manager was behind her and "scolded" her.. more like I'm looking at your ass and laughing with you that you couldn't find the shirt we found, while she playing flirted with " I'm sorry" , I'm sorry.. seriously keep your more then obvious stock room affair private. We exchanged shirts done.. I then decided to buy a I LOVE BOOBIES land yard that the monies go to breast cancer research, paid and she walked away.. Okay, what the hell I don't get a bag.. a thank you.. no off she went to flirt some more. I usually don't come into this store but the one time that I did, I was so pleased that I did. The staff were super friendly and so helpful. I left with my being unsure about whether or not the sweater that I was interested in was something that was going to be a MUST HAVE item for me or not. I left and told the store associate that I had to think about it but that maybe I'd be back for it in the next day or so. I called the following day to see if they still had it. It was the same associate. He said that they still had it. I told him I'd be in the next day to pick it up. The day that I showed up, the price had changed and so had the promo. Because the associate remembered me and I had talked to him the previous day, he honored the promo and generously adjusted the price for me. I knew it wasn't something that he HAD to do but he did tell me that because I'd come back, called about it and all that, he too felt it was meant to be and that he couldn't let me take it for anything more than what I'd seen it for. He was so awesome. He was so sweet to do that for me, too. I cannot say thank you enough. I hope he doesn't get into any trouble at work for his awesome customer service. Thanks a ton. Horrible! Didn't take my security tag off on the tshirt i bought. I came home and it was underneath the shirt. That's why you should always pick your shirts. Don't let these dummies pick it for you. The guy picked it for me and took it directly to the register. I called and he just said "my bad boss" lmao. Nothing was given in return for my drive back. Had a great experience there today. Carlos and some girl was there covering the store. They both did a great job with customer service and general store upkeep. I came in to buy and apply some grip tape onto my new skateboard deck. After purchase, Carlos applied it for me and did a great job with it. While I was there I grabbed some shorts, sox, and other stuff and was out of there in no time. I really appreciated Carlos, because he was very friendly and knowledgeable about store products. I went in to the store today to help my brother-in-law find shoes. I looked around the men's clothing and found an amazing t-shirt that I had to have. As soon as I showed interest in the shirt a sales associate literally was on top of me thinking I was going to steal it. I live in Brentwood and came to this mall to specifically avoid crowds. She followed me around the entire time I had it in my hands.... I'm sorry, but this $33 t-shirt was not something I was planning on pick pocketing. Instead of offering me complimentary suggestions (which I probably would have purchased), she followed me around until I found my brother who had already decided on shoes. We both made purchases but rest assured it will be our last. Instead of worrying about us stealing, maybe try and assist with the items we obviously intend on purchasing... complete fail! read more

Spent almost $200 for a new skateboard at this Burbank Zumiez. Customer service was great, however, I developed a problem with one of my trucks a day later. For some reason the bushings in one of the trucks started to pop out after a few ollies. I tried adjusting / tightening it a few times but no matter what, the bushing would find a way to slide out again. I decided to see if I could do an exchange the next day. As soon as I went in and explained the problem, the employees and the manager stated that because i rode the truck, I was not able to exchange it. They recommended I either mail it back to the manufacturer or buy new bushings. I explained that I was literally on the board for about 5minutes total, yet they said they could not do the exchange. Ok, no problem, i'll buy some new bushings. "Oh sorry, we are out of bushings right now but you can order some with us and they should come in 3-5 days." Nope, i'm not waiting 3-5 days, i'll just bite the bullet and buy a whole new truck then. "Oh sorry, you can't just buy one truck, you can only buy them in pairs." WTF!! They literally had like 5-6 pairs of the same trucks in stock. I seriously did not know that this Zumiez had this type of skateboard policy. So I left the store a bit disappointed. I decided to call the Glendale Zumiez to see if they could be of better help or just to see if their policy was the same. I spoke to Kat and she said, normally we don't do the exchange/refund on used trucks but bring it in and let's see what the problem is. So I drive to Glendale Zumiez and bring the board. The Manager named Sarah was very helpful, told me the same thing and recommend better bushings. She said we have only one pair of these trucks left in stock. I asked if I had to buy them in pairs and she said, "no." I explained that Zumiez Burbank only sells trucks in pairs, and she said, "that's crazy, not here." But here is the best part, she decided to do an exchange and processed the defected truck for a new one with no problems. Thank you Sarah from Zumiez Glendale. If you are going to buy a board from a Zumiez, try the Glendale store before the Burbank one. Learn from my mistake and double check the store policy. Thanks for listening to my rant. Got hooked up with three shirts for an awesome price. I was able to chit chat with Trevor about Nixon watches which on my next visit will definitely be purchasing one. Amazingly SUPER Chill STAFF!! Every time I walk in, I am ALWAYS greeted by a worker saying "Whats up!" I have bought many things here from hoodies, t shirts to wrist bands, beanies and jackets! A bit pricy tho, but well worth it since they have nice styles ... My son and I used to go here all the time until today! No more. I'm sorry zumiez but we have spend hundreds of dollars for not saying thousands. My son loves your brand!! And the items you guys have there,. Every time I give him money he runs to the store. He run to the store with his savings as always, he loves the gold chains they have there!! He has a couple of them already but he really like this new one that online is $97dlls total with taxes. He walk in to the store this time and talk to one of the employees named carter, really nice guy. He offered my son a 10% discount but my son only had $100dlls on him. He run back to the house and grab his change, call me and said dad I'm going to the mall to get my gold chain!!! I drove to the mall. I saw my son telling the (general manager) this is all I have $117 dlls the general manager Eddie Perez told my son Iam not going to lose my job for $10dlls that you are short. Wooow to be honest as a Dad really pissed me off. I ask him couple times is that what you can do for my son?? You know he is your client and he comes here a lot. Where is the person that told my son he was going to giving him a 10%discount?? He said I'm the only one here in charge. Once again a child wants to buy it. They got a lot of cool stuff and the price range is pretty decent. But it's better to wait for some of their sales. Especially during back to school time. They compete with the other skate inspired stores in the area. Wish they had more independent brands like they used to. Before they used to carry more unique and artistic local brands. But they started to go a bit more mainstream so I hope they differentiate themselves again in the future. Skate selection is solid. Very comparable store to Active Ride Shop. But the competition is good to have for both locations. Pretty chill staff. Some are more helpful than others but that's to be expected for mall retail stores. read more

Went in this evening 12/26/2019 at about 4:30-5 pm-ish. Store was pretty busy so I expected the long wait just to get some trucks, not a problem at all staff was chill. Cashier was a younger lady maybe about 20, but she just kept talking and having full conversations with every customer, and to top it off let people cut in line. Took about 30 minutes for her to ring up only about 7 people. Managers should have a talk to her about having 5 minute conversations with every customer and should be more considerate to others. read more

Pretty cool store with some decent skate and surf threads, but the real reason I'm writing a review for this place is the very cool skate decks they have here. They have short boards and they have long boards. They're not fully stocked like a skate shop would be of course, but what they do have is very nice indeed. Zumiez is the best. I was in the vans store next door shopping for new shoes for my son, everyone was rude and dismissive. I wandered into Zumiez next door and it was awesome. Trevor helped us right away. He laced my son's shoes and found socks that fit him. He even helped him pick out clothes (I'm not cool enough to know what the kids are wearing these days).
