We Burbankers don't like to brag, but Burbank's Magnolia Boulevard (from Buena Vista at the Handy Market, to Hollywood Way at the Portos) is one of the most delightful small business shopping streets in LA. Thrift stores, shops, restaurants, coffee places, nail and hair salons -- all totally walkable -- so park the car and have fun. Speaking of fun, Audrey K is one such shop, with clothing, stationery, jewelry, gifts and tons of other stuff. I needed a last-minute Felix the Car Clock (eyes go back and forth while tail wags), and there they were -- in a dozen different colors. Don't sleep on these small independent shops; the price was cheaper than Amazon's, and I took it straight home without worrying about a Porch Pirate. Went for a little Christmas shopping down Magnolia Boulevard and I stopped in the most cutest boutique ever Audrey K! We were greeted by the most sweetest person named Andrea and her and my daughter just hit it off talking about how she loved my daughter's boots. While they were talking, I was so engaged with all the cute clothes and novelty items they had. The store was so colorful and I absolutely loved it. I loved the energy and vibes! If you are ever in Burbank and on Magnolia blvd doing a little shopping or sightseeing, you must stop in this amazing boutique! I promise you will leave with something amazing that you have just fell in love with! I know I did! My daughter left with the cutest black sheer mini skirt, actually a Scort that was on sale and we bought the cutest sloth plush that is heatable for cramps or any ailment that you may need a heating pad for. Also a pot holder that was so perfect for my brother back in Texas.! They also gift wrapped our items for free and it was beautiful. The vibe overall is vintage but very fresh, colorful and fun. You can find a great selection of merchandise from clothing to jewelry to smaller items like soaps, purses, etc. Fun to browse and shop. I normally really enjoy patronizing this place. Andrea really knows how to treat every customer that walks in. I have only been in a few times when Audrey was there, in an addition to Andrea, and witnessed her be quite rude to customer, but it was just an observation that took me aback considering their online presence is very "happy" "outgoing" "friendly" and "fun". I have spend a high amount of dollars over the years on various clothes, accessories, and items. A dress I bought for over $100 once, was a disappointment because after a wash, the slip sewn on was longer than the dress after the cotton shrunk! Wish they could give instructions/pointers/directions/disclaimers on some of these type of items, as I was only able to wear it once. I visited the store today--I hadnt been in, in quite some time. I was totally put off by the two new ladies working there, they did not greet or engage at all--even the purchasing experience was very dry, compared to when Andrea is running the store. The new girls looks tired, overworked and over it. I will still pop in but here is hoping there is a good chance that this constructive criticism will be taken into consideration. read more

The store carries fond memories from annual visits during Holiday in the Park (HitP). It has a range of products that are carefully selected and unique, which justifies a higher price point. Personally, I can only justify smaller purchases but the items I've bought have been well taken care of and stood the test of time! Which is why our recent visit during HitP left my sister and I with an odd feeling in our stomach. We know it's a busy time and there are a lot of people in the store during the event. We did not expect to have a conversation or be personally attended to because it was busy. While it would have been nice, its just unrealistic to think that everyone could be interacted with during a high traffic event. We were looking at gloves and I eventually went to look at earrings. I was there for a while and was not spoken to even with multiple people behind the counter, where the jewelry is held. I thought nothing of it until a conversation beside me took place and they were told that if they'd like to look at anything, they'd be more than happy to take it out for a closer look. I still looked for a bit but was not approached. Thought maybe the previous remark was directed towards me and I didn't realize it but I heard a thank you in response. So clearly I wasn't the intended recipient. My sister came to show me a few gloves she was looking at and we compared them. When she was going back I overheard someone say they could hold it for her behind the counter. She handed over one pair and went to put the other back. We looked around some more, paid for our things, and left. But as we were walking, we talked about our experience. My sister said while other customers had more items in their hands, none were asked if they wanted to have them held behind the counter, only her. I explained to her what happened when I was looking at earrings and we sort of laughed it off. Of course we'll still make our trips there but it was a very odd experience and something I wanted to share. I don't believe we were being profiled, at least I would like to hope we weren't, and hold the ladies behind Audrey K in high regard but I thought it was worth mentioning. I LOVE this sweet boutique on Magnolia Blvd! Audrey and Andrea curated the most amazing items. I love that i can go in and find a local Los Angeles designer and support them - their eye for fashion is amazing and if you need help finding something, they take the time to help you and find exactly what you are looking for. I've found beautiful one of a kind pieces that i always get complimented on. I've also been able to buy many a presents here, they have super cute accessories, and household items ( best mugs around). Love shopping local and supporting creators around our area. This is my favorite boutique on Magnolia! I can always stop in here when I'm in need of a gift and find something perfect. They have a great selection of vintage-inspired items, jewelry, accessories, puzzles and games, and fun, kitschy things. They also have beautiful, well-made clothes that I've never seen sold anywhere else. Audrey is so friendly and welcoming... she started remembering me and things I'd purchased right away (even wearing my mask!) on return visits. Audrey K is the perfect place to find retro style clothing, gifts, and unique cards, etc. I can't wipe the smile on my face every time I leave Audrey K! It's filled with well curated pretty and silly goodies in every corner. The unicorn head mounted on the wall gives you a sense of the fun and magic that awaits you inside. It's taken me so long to write this review, I'm ashamed!! I'm ashamed because Audrey K is my GO TO PLACE for my closet. It's my favorite clothing store in Magnolia Park, hands down. A great store starts with a great idea, supported by a great team. I definitely have a vintage inspired, kitschy, quirky personal fashion style and the pieces that are selected every season are SO fun and absolutely fabulous. I've worn pieces to film premieres, weddings, casual outings and to out of country trips. That's because Audrey and Andrea have IMPECCABLE taste and most importantly, are such vivacious women who are kind and caring. They're honest with you about pieces working/not working, ask about family, recommend vendors that fit your vision- that's why I love these girls and this boutique. Long overdue review! I first came across this boutique at Dapper Day Expo in Anaheim over a year ago. I didn't buy anything but I ended up having "didn't buy remorse" so I DMed them on Instagram the item I wanted to buy and Audrey responded quickly, emailed me an invoice and mailed my item within 2 days. (They have a website up now where you can buy items you see on their social media.) Their amazing customer service stuck with me and I'm all for supporting women run small businesses. On a few occasions since that Dapper Day Expo I'd make my way up to Burbank and shop at the boutique - the very first time I came to the shop Audrey greeted me with a hug (after asking if I was okay with hugs) because she was appreciative that I made the drive to Burbank on a Saturday (not easy with crazy LA traffic). It goes to show that she and Andrea are very warm, genuine and friendly people and consistently offer excellent service. During my visits, they were more than happy to help with zippers/buttons (pre-Covid-19), offer styling options - And sometimes they'd stick something in the dressing room that I wouldn't think of trying on - but they thought the color or silhouette would work and wanted to see me in it. The shop has an open, inviting atmosphere, and all the items are displayed in an organized manner and are easy to find. The clothes are pressed so when you try on, you know exactly how they will hang on you - no wrinkles and odd lighting shadows here! I've purchased accessories, shoes and dresses from here - the price point is worth it because the quality is so high and I've never regretted any purchase I made - I still have that first dress I purchased from them in my closet that I still wear (either to work or on dinner dates with my husband). If you believe in investing in unique, high quality pieces for yourself, this is the place to shop! And if you need a little help with a wardrobe refresh or finding clothes that better convey the inner you, that's okay, they are there to help and do a great job of it! Wow! Audrey K saved the day again! I went in there very last minute the other day to find a dress for a party and I lucked out with the first dress I tried on! I get so many compliments when I wear the dress! You can find women's clothing, accessories (very cute headbands), jewelry, etc. here. Think Mad Men meets Nicole Miller perhaps? This is such a cute store to browse around. Right when you walk in, you will see a counter full of random recycle necklaces, bracelets and earrings. I loved how they recycled their soda cans, turning them into candle holders and having look-a-like fire matches, but really, they are filers with hilarious quotes. Haha... If you ever stroll by Magnolia in Burbank, be sure to check this place out. They have very cute dresses that will remind you bank in the days, though the price may be between $$ or $$$. Retro cards and stationary that are recreations, jewelry, lip balms in old Popsicle flavors, cat eye sunglasses and the cutest retro lunch bags I've ever seen! They also carry homemade soaps , watermelon anyone and eyeglass cases. The owner was dressed to impress in a vintage fifties dress with a chic short hair cut and so sweet. What can I say, Audrey K. This store is such a little gem among giants like Unique Vintage and Pinup Girl on the same street. The first time I stumbled upon this place I was floored by the selection and how cute it was. Audrey truly takes a lot of pride in her store and it shows. All the girls who work here are so friendly and invested. They have everything from vintage-inspired dresses and skirts, to gifts, accessories, and consignment from local designers. I have purchased quite a few little things from this shop, and just yesterday I bought my first skirt! In July, they had a Design Your Own Skirt event where you could select a fabric and a skirt pattern from the options they provide and they measured me to ensure this skirt would fit my perfectly. I am 5'10" and typically run in the L/XL range and sometimes it's difficult to find cute things in my size. This event was perfect for me! My skirt has pink flamingos on it and They even but a pink button on my skirt for added theming. The best thing I learned about Audrey K is that they offer layaway. Vintage-inspired clothing can be pricy and I know that I never have money when I find the perfect dress. At her store, you can put a deposit on an item to reserve it for you, this way it is off the shelf and waiting for you. This is hands down MY FAVORITE BOUTIQUE IN L.A.!! Audrey is such a beam of light that it feels like you're shopping with a friend when you're in the store.
