She took the time to help me and made me feel comfortable throughout my shopping experience. Her kindness and customer service really stood out to me, and I truly appreciated how pleasant she made my visit. The NoHo West area is such a nice place to shop, and the store itself is clean, organized, and has a really nice atmosphere. They also have a great selection with really good prices, which makes it even more enjoyable to shop there. I definitely found some great deals! I always appreciate when someone goes above and beyond to help a customer, and Dolores definitely did that for me. I wanted to take a moment to recognize her because she deserves to be appreciated for the wonderful service she provides. Thank you, Dolores, for making my shopping experience such a positive one!

Well better late than never, right? I cannot believe Vixen is closing it's doors. I've been…read moreshopping here almost exclusively for my work clothes the last several years. The quality is unparalleled, but hands down I fell in love with the Vixen shop because of their sweet, lovely shop manager, Lisa. She is so warm and welcoming - has gone above and beyond to help me find the right size and encourage me to try new styles. She is absolutely the sweetest. I'd say I'm going to miss her, BUT I heard they will be opening a new store for their sister brand, La Femme En Noir, that Lisa will also run. Let me just say: she BETTER! To me, she is as iconic to the brand as Micheline herself! These gorgeous clothes will surely be missed, but I'm truly hopeful that the closing of the Vixen brand, will be an expansion of LFEN. It has absolutely been a beautiful experience while it's lasted, and thanks to the incredible workmanship of the Vixen brand, I am confident I will continue to enjoy my amazing frocks for years and years to come. Thank you, Micheline, for making us all feel so gorgeous!

Some people really are not happy in whatever that they DO in their life and like to trash a perfectly normal business in the most ugliest way that's NOT even possible. I have been to this place literally decades ago when they 1st opened.... few times. Haven't been there in decades. Didn't really need or want anything. I happened to be in the area on the 6th of November, and after having lunch with a friend at IHOP, decided to go in and see what has changed SO DRASTICALLY that people are trashing this establishment? With that being said I walked in and was warmly welcomed by Grace who was behind the counter organizing some stuff. She had a mask on, but I could still see her smile thru her eyes. Very nice, calm, soft-spoken woman. The security guy was doing his job by walking around to make sure nobody steels anything. People find that very offensive when a person actually does his/her job and gets paid for it. Store is big, clean, well organized with dressing rooms and multiple articles from accessories, to sweaters, jackets, tank tops dresses, then formal dresses, shoes/boots/flip flops, pants/shorts, belts, formal wears, bustiers/bras hats/barrettes/caps and a WHOLE LOT more. Nicely hung, and very well organized on shelves/tables. I was upset about all those BAD reviews. Yesenia even offered to help me find something. Since I was there, I wanted to find a barrette/hat & added to my collection of barrette/hats and caps... but they didn't have the color that I wanted. They only had gray. I was looking either for yellow or mauve color. Better luck next time. They even apologized to me for not having the colors that I wanted! Prices are affordable comparing to other local businesses. Go check it out for yourself! Store is located on Laurel Canyon/Victory shopping center with a lot of industrial, medical building/facilities. Plenty, Plenty Plenty of parking spaces ALL OVER!!! Keep up the good work & DON'T PAY ANY ATTENTION TO THOSE little shoppers, who don't know what they want.

The clothes are cute, but honestly the atmosphere in this store is enough to make me never want to…read morecome back. The manager and some of the older employees spend so much time gossiping, whispering, staring, and judging people that it is impossible not to notice. The funniest part is that they clearly think nobody can hear them, when customers can hear practically everything. There is a very strange clique-like energy in the store. Instead of creating a welcoming shopping environment, the employees seem much more interested in observing and discussing everyone around them. You can literally walk into the store and immediately feel the judgment. It is uncomfortable, unnecessary, and honestly embarrassing to witness from a customer's perspective. The manager in particular does not create the kind of atmosphere you would expect from someone running a store. The constant gossip and obvious judging make the entire place feel immature and unprofessional. If you are going to talk about people while you are working, at least have enough professionalism to remember that customers have ears. I also find it ironic that a store selling trendy clothes has such an outdated, mean-girl-type atmosphere. Nobody should feel like they are being silently rated, watched, or discussed just for walking into a clothing store. There are plenty of other places to shop where you can actually browse without feeling like you accidentally walked into a group chat. Cute clothes, terrible energy. The management really needs to take a look at the culture they are allowing in that store, because the employees' behavior says a lot more about the workplace than the clothes ever could. I definitely would not recommend this location based on the atmosphere alone.

Celebrities Closets are a "Win-Win-Win-Win' for shoppers!…read more Win #1.- SELECTION: The selection of clothing and accessories, handbags and shoes for women, men (and NEW: dogs!) is wonderfully eclectic with unique one of a kind pieces that you won't see at the mall, or on anyone else! Win#2. -REAL CELEBRITY OWNED TREASURES the store is filled with valuable pieces donated by famous celebrities- both old and new, that truly allow you to walk away with your own couture look worn only by you, and the likes of JLO, Oprah, Idris Alba, and more! Best of all, while the owner is new to Sherman Oaks, she is very well known and connected to Hollywood and the music industries. Lateasha, the owner, is a fixture in the store, always there to help and to let you know who owned the items, and when known, when they wore them. A celebrity in her own right--(the daughter one of the original members of The Temptations), grew up amidst superstars, and she herself was a recording artist with Motown and on Broadway as well. She has SO MANY famous friends and her network supports her by regularly dropping off little pieces of history for you to own! Win #3-PRICES ARE INCREDIBLE! Even though she grew up with a silver spoon, Lateasha is deeply sensitive to the needs of various social economic groups, and wants the average woman or man shopping to have their own little piece of "the Rich and Famous", at incredibly reasonable prices (in some cases downright steals)! That is how giving and kind an operation Celebrities Closet is. Win #4-CHARITY A PART OF EVERY ITEM SOLD! Part of the entire business model of Celebrities Closet- unlike ANY other vintage store in LA, is about giving back. So a percentage of whatever incredibly reasonable priced item you buy is given to the CHARITY OF YOUR CHOICE! Where else can you buy couture and feel like you are contributing to amazing places like ST. JUDE'S HOSPITAL, and the JUVENILE DIABETES ASSOCIATION? Even if you don't have a pet charity, a portion will still go to one of the charitable "store charities" such as the examples provided. Think you little purchases won't make a difference? Think again! To date, between their Atlanta store and Sherman Oaks store, Celebrities Closets has DONATED over $500,000 to worthy organizations helping people in need! As if all of these "wins" aren't enough, and the financial donations can certainly explain why not only actors and musicians donate there, but the Studios do too;- which explains the great diversity of selection. BUT WAIT...there is MORE!! EVERY WEEK, DONATIONS THAT DON'T SELL ARE BROUGHT DOWN TO SKID ROW AND PERSONALLY GIVEN TO THE NEEDY!
