I've been a fan of Tiff's for years. Before this location existed I went to the Kirby location off of 59 and I live in the Energy Corridor. I usually order for special occasions now. I rarely go in but when I do the service is always fast and friendly. The cookies are always fresh of course. Once My order wasn't correct when delivered and They immediately made it right. I knocked one star bc although the cookies are amazing I feel there has been a slight change to the recipe consistency. I use to always get this ooey gooey feeling when I bit into the chocolate chip. Thanks to my business partner for sending me these cookies! When they arrived they were warm. I immediately opened my variety box to try them. I went for chocolate chip. They taste like an average chocolate chip cookie, nothing super special, which isnt a bad thing. Later that day I went back for a couple more...the magic wears off once these cookies are a couple hours old. A little hard a little blah. My suggestion, eat them while they are Warm. I wanted to find Houston's best chocolate chip cookies, so I had to stop by Tiff's. I got one chocolate chip, one white chocolate chip and one snickerdoodle. Chocolate chip: Don't get me wrong, this cookie was delicious. If someone were to offer me this cookie, I would devour it in milliseconds. But, as someone who has had many chocolate chip cookies, I didn't think this one stood out to me too much. I loved the "dough" portion of the cookie. To me, this dough is one of the best I've had in a while because it wasn't too sweet and it had a slightly crunchy texture on the circumference. However, I wished they had used darker and more chocolate. I'm the type of person who likes to see pools of melted chocolate in the crevices of a cookie. When I ate Tiff's chocolate chip, my fingers weren't covered in chocolate! In addition, a little bitterness from 70% dark chocolate on a sweet cookie can make such a huge difference in the flavor profile. White chocolate chip: I'm not much of a white chocolate chip fan because I don't think white chocolate is real chocolate. To my surprise though, I actually enjoyed this cookie the best out of the three I purchased. White chocolate tends to be much sweeter than regular chocolate, so the amount of chips they used in this cookie (which was around the same as the chocolate chip cookie) was perfectly proportional to the dough portion. Well done! Snickerdoodle: I didn't know what to expect from this cookie because I've never had a real snickerdoodle before. For me, this one was the most underwhelming out of the three (still tasty though). It was simply a sugar cookie with cinnamon powder on the top. Delicious, but wouldn't get it again. Each cookie costed about $1.50, which is pretty standard for a cookie. I would definitely want to come back again for more cookies! read more

The cookies at TIFF's are so moist and delicious! The cookie shop is a small place, really designed just to pick up orders. It's simple...cookies, ice cream, and brownies - so nothing to overwhelming to choose from. They warm your cookies to perfection after you choose your assortment. I've been here a couple of times and have enjoyed them delivering to events at work. I went back this past Friday night as they advertised $1 Tiffwiches. It's an ice cream sandwich made of Bluebell homemade vanilla (perfection) in between two cookies of your choice. The line was out the door. It was worth the wait. We bought two Tiffwiches and a half dozen cookies for the weekend. Soooo, it's crazy Tuesday and I am thinking it's a good day to send my awesome wife something. I do a Google search to see my options as I am stuck at the office. In general, I am not a fan of peanut butter cookies, M&M cookies, or chocolate on chocolate...but the chocolate chip, white chocolate, Snickerdoodle and oatmeal are superb. Someone brought them into my work office once and I tried one and I remember not being impressed, but I wanted to try it out for myself...and getting a cookie that I actually wanted. So I stopped in and this place is literally only to pick up cookies - it is very quaint, neat, and cute. All of the available cookies were in an open display case and were organized by the different flavors. I elected to get peanut butter and oatmeal raisin. I was asked if I wanted them warmed up, which I gladly accepted. The cashier placed the cookies in their little warmer, which is behind the counter, for a few seconds. While she was warming the cookies, she took my payment, which was a credit card. In fact, you can ONLY use a credit card here. This is the first CASHLESS establishment that I have been to. Fine by me..because I NEVER have cash. Unfortunately, I just was not thrilled by the cookies. They taste very average to me. Nothing stands out, nothing special. They have a good taste with okay flavor, but they are just mediocre. They are also on the smaller side for $1.50 each. I didn't feel satisfied. I've been here twice since discovering that there's a Tiff's Treat close by. I LOVE their snickerdoodles. When they warm them up, ohhhh it's so good. It's even better with milk. It's that sugary, cinnamon, soft and somewhat chewy goodness that I cannot get enough of. I even tried their cookie ice cream sandwich and it's delightful. So I visited this place after work and I am glad that I did, It was empty, bright and very clean. There was a display of cookies and all the different flavors as soon as you walk in. A nice young lady came from the back to ask me what I wanted to get.... Sooooo many choices I really just wanted them all. We picked up 3 cookies and a brownie from this location this evening and I was super let down. The brownie was pretty mediocre and after taking a few bites I noticed tiny shiny metallic flecks on the bottom. The cookies were not fresh. Most of it just went in the trash. We won't be b... Update: so we have had Tiff's Treats 2 times since then and both times was a way better experience. The cookies and brownies were warm and fresh. Everything tasted amazing. I do think they are much much better delivered and will probably just stick with ordering. We must have just gone in on an off day. Updated Experience: After trying the cookies delivered, and fresh baked, this cookie shop makes more sense to me. The cookies were soft and delicious, plus the experience of having them delivered was fun. I will probably send some cookies to someone in the near future- maybe even myself :) If I ever purchase single cookies from the storefront in the future, I'll probably skip warming them in the shop. I believe the re-warming is why our cookies seemed off. It is also fair to say that the customer service we experienced on our first trip was not the norm. I may be a little biased because I went to school in Austin where they first originated and have fond memories of late night cookie runs and how hot and gooey and oh-so-delicious they were. My favorites are the chocolate chip and the snicker doodle. If you're feeling the need for something more decadent, their brownies are to die for. Like others, I love that you can go in person to pick out whatever variety and quantity you want or order online for pickup or delivery. The brownie was not enjoyable to be honest it was too one note for me and didn't have any kind of rich chocolate flavor, it just tasted VERY sweet almost too much. At work we get cookies delivered on a consistent basis. When they get here they are always warm which is a major plus and in my opinion the most important part about a cookie. I have tried all of their cookies and my favorite is the snicker doodle without a doubt. Of course their choco chip is good but I consider them basic on the cookie basic-ness scale. Tiff's also has milk and ice cream which let's be real cookies with Ice cream is the best medicine for a recent heart break. Tiff's would be a five star for me if they also delivered wine. Wine with cookies and ice-cream would really complete my Friday nights. On a serious note, the cookies just don't blow me out of the water. I guess the real question is what makes a five star cookie? Let me first start by saying I LOVE the delivery concept and you can get same day deliveries at that. Everyone was friendly and helpful here and walked me through the cookie flavors. I came here to get a brownie for my hubby because he loves brownies but I ended up snagging some cookies for myself and I am soooooooo glad I did. Let's start with the brownie. There's only 1 option which I thought was odd but ok. It would be great to see them offer walnut brownies. My hubby loved the brownie and he's really picky. I didn't try it because of the chocolate chips on top, that's too much chocolate for me. I ordered sugar cookies and chocolate chip pecan. AMAZING!!!!!!!! Both cookies were fantastic and so soft & moist. The sugar had a great flavor and so gooey soft in the center. The chocolate chip pecan was great and not too sweet. My only complaint is they need more pecans in the choc chip pecan, it was only a few and should have more !!!!!! They had several more flavors to try and I will go back to try some more but those two flavors alone are enough to have me tweaking.
