Big cookies with the perfect crisp. Perfect to go with a warm beverage! I had the Reese's cookie and snickers cookie. Both were delicious and huge! Enough to nibble on and still have some for later. Bakery itself is clean with plenty of seating to enjoy the treats. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

I stopped by early one morning before heading into my office Thanksgiving potluck. Unfortunately my homemade bread I promised to bring just did not bake like I wanted, so I headed to Three Brothers to help save the day. When you walk in, the flow of the bakery is well marked and laid out, so I headed to the counter and was greeted promptly. I explained my dilemma and was shown all of their bread options that day. I opted for a dozen challah rolls, half plain and half sesame. And a large cappuccino for me :). Service was prompt, friendly, and got the job done. My rolls were bagged separately since I ordered 2 different kinds and I felt like I could confidently provide the bread for our potluck. All was delicious as well!

Three Brothers Bakery spans several locations and has been a Houston staple for decades. This location is the closest to me. I stopped by to pick up some delicious goodies during the holidays. They didn't have what I was looking for, but I ended up trying some hamatachen cookies. When I asked about the country of origin of these cookies, the employee didn't know, and she kind of left it at that. Another employee did come back later and told me they were Jewish cookies. They offered traditional varieties like prune, poppy seed, and fruit flavors but also offered hazelnut and s'mores varieties. The cookies were excellent and not too sweet! Besides cookies, they offer a variety of baked goods including loaves of bread, danishes, cupcakes, pound cake, and more. Definitely worth a visit to satisfy that sweet tooth.

What a great place if you have a sweet tooth. We ordered a German Chocolate cake and some coffee, both were so flavorful. The cake was moist and the butter cream was spot on. Plenty of parking out front, staff were friendly, place was clean and had items for sale like wonderful scented candles for $10. I would definitely return here!

There is a wide variety of desserts to choose from to satisfy your sweet tooth. While some look really appetizing, some not so. I had the carrot cupcake, strawberry cupcake, lady finger, and mini cannoli. The carrot cupcake base was flavorful. I could taste the carrots and spices in the cake. But the frosting was way too sweet. It was just plain frosting by the way. The strawberry cupcake base didn't taste much of real strawberries. So after a couple of spoons, I was done with it. The mini cannoli was ok. The shell was snappy which was good. As for the lady finger, it was crumbly and soft. I like it. But the chocolate ganache at the tip, and the chocolate filling in between were tasteless. There was no sweetness to it. So either I got super sweet or tasteless desserts here.

I came here on 8/6/2023 in the afternoon for the first time as I was in the area looking for a cafe to get some work done. The service was 10/10, I was immediately greeted by Abraham who helped me through my order. Abraham was very professional, great customer-service and friendly. I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel with an iced caramel latte & it was so delicious! There's plenty of seating inside, the ambiance gives off a pleasant and vibrant atmosphere with light music playing inside. There's also a few tables and chairs for outdoors. I didn't know their pecan pie is an award winning pie so we'll have to come back and try one. They have SO MANY options to choose from and all of their sweets look amazing! Overall, I'm glad I stopped by and will definitely be back when frequenting the area.

Their cupcakes/cookies/cakes are so decadent, rich, and incredibly sweet. The service was so friendly. A bit expensive for me, but worth an occasional indulgence.

Been wanting to try this bakery since we moved to Houston and we finally had some time to stop in after their remodel. BTW, the remodel produced an Instagram worthy space and it's a pretty gorgeous space to hang out in. The morning we stopped in we were full from breakfast at Flying Biscuit so I decided we would just get a slice of pecan pie and so glad that I did because it was hands down the best pecan pie I've ever had. From the first bite, I was blown away by the richness and depth of flavor. The filling was perfectly sweet without being too sweet, and the pecans were fresh and perfectly toasted. The crust was flaky and buttery, with just the right amount of crunch. What really set this pecan pie apart, however, was the attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients. For some people they might not like this taste but I could literally taste the butter melting in my mouth. Yum! I regretted not buying an entire pie lol. Overall, I highly recommend Three Brothers Bakery to anyone looking for pecan pie. The pecan pie alone is worth a visit and if you have a bigger appetite everything else on the menu looks equally impressive. Looking forward to my next visit where I can try more!

A bit disappointed in this place but may be due to overinflated hype around this place as a local Houston favorite. To satisfy a sweet tooth moment, I chose Three Brothers Bakery since they had a wide variety of sweets - cookies, cupcakes, pies, etc. We purchased about $40 of cookies and cupcakes and I found the taste and decorating (frosting, design) to be very average if not slightly below average. The employees were kind to let us know that we were only a couple cookies short of a quantity-discount, which we appreciated.

French style baguettes are perfect. The only problem is the pastries suffer from humidity of Houston and if not eaten fresh they can get soggy and lose their texture. I am referring to the mille fuille. The chocolate cake was really good and held up for a few days. I bought 4 baguettes, 4 mille fuille, 4 chocolate cakes and 2 boxes of mixed macaroons for $100. What's nudged this place up to 5 stars for me is they have really improved their coffee game, specifically their quality of cappuccino's. Previously it seemed more of latte, but now to me its a legit Capp. Their choice of pastries hasn't changed, which gives you a good assortment of choices and they have added an additional barista or server which also is a nice touch for service. The only niggling items, parking can be tough, so you'll have to either walk a block or be quick to find a place close by. Inside you will also find French pastries, coffees and teas, gelato, milkshakes, sandwiches and macaroons. I felt the most interesting items were the French pastries as they are cute and tasty as well. Also, they plate the pastries nicely when you dine in as an added bonus. I tried the Chocolate Royale and the Ruby. Chocolate Royale - a petit chocolate mouse slice with flat chocolate panels along the sides. It is delicate and tasty. If you're a chocolate lover, this is definitely up your alley. Ruby - visually this looks like a strawberry Hershey kiss, with red powder on the exterior and a top piece of foil to resemble foil on the wrapper of a hershey kiss. Inside, it's filled with a strawberry cream and has a chocolate base. I just wish there was more chocolate in this one. They have plenty of seating inside as well as along the sidewalk. Inside you have the more fancy tables, whereas outside, they're more weather resistant and not as upscale in appearance. The soft drinks to drink along with your sweets are in a cold case along the hotel side of the space and you just take them to the register as you order. One of the most surprising things when you come here are the relatively affordable prices as you might expect them to be more for being a coffee shop attached to a 5-star hotel with a helipad.

We finally came around to checking it out and OMG YES. It absolutely is worth the hype. As a lover of egg tarts and someone who is also very particular about it - these have won my heart! I also heard great things about the mango mochi so we couldn't leave without those. Thankfully they still had some in stock. I heard they sell out quickly especially on weekends. Those also lived up to its hype. SO YUMMY! Tastes so fresh including the mangoes. My kiddo who LOVES mango anything loved them so much! My husband also got 2 savory pastries (I forgot what they were called and I forgot to take a picture) and those were yummy too. Perfectly flakey crust just like the egg tarts. We wanted to get sesame balls but they were sold out. Customer service was great. The guy that took our order was very nice. It was pretty busy but he moved through the line quickly. There's some seating inside if you want to eat there. Prices are very reasonable at $2 each for the mochi and egg tarts. The savory pastries were $3. It's located in a shared lot/area. Parking can be tight and limited on a busy weekend day but they have parking right out front for the Eck bakery customers. Also note that if you pay with card it's a 2.5% charge so cash is better if you have it. We didn't but we know now for future. We had a great experience here and will definitely be back. It might not look great inside but that's when you know they focus on how the food taste, not wasting their energy on what the store looks like. Egg tarts 5/5 - must get especially when fresh and warm out of the oven, the eggy filling is sweet and soft but dangerously hot when too fresh so be careful, the flakey tart shell is soft but crispy at the edges helping to balance the jiggly egg filling. Pork puff pasty (cha siu sow) 5/5 - another must get, if sweets aren't your thing or you are craving something savory then this is for you, again the puff pastry so flakey and delicious, the pork filling wasn't very much but just enough to help accompany the soft yet crispy shell, the pork was soft and and just juicy enough to not be too overwhelmed with sauce but not dry either. Wife cookie (1/5) - skip this and don't waste your calories, the puff pastry again was lovely and flakey but I think they dropped the ball on the filling, it was a bit too goopy and thick for my liking, traditional wife cookies have candied wintermelon or some other firmer additives to give it more of a textual change but this one didn't have any of that and even the puff pastry couldn't balance it out, stick to the other 2 items instead. Now we actually go there about once every two weeks because we love it that much and I look forward to opening the front doors and smelling the sweet smell of baked goods Recently we also found out that they have cheese & sausage kolaches, and oh my gosh, they are delicious. They are really, really good and were such a nice surprise when we tried them. The location closest to us is the one on Airline Drive, and we usually go in the afternoon so we can avoid the after-work crowd. That time of day works really well for us because there aren't too many people, which makes it easier to grab bread and look around without feeling rushed. The ordering process is pretty quick and simple. You grab your metal tray and tongs, open each little door, pick what you want, and put it on the tray. When you're ready, you go to the register where the ladies count the breads, ring everything up, and bag it nicely for you. We're usually in and out pretty fast, which we really like. We love going to El Bolillo, and at this point it has definitely become a staple for us. We honestly can't get enough of it.

The bakery itself is simple and clean. Be respectful of the place and help clean up after yourself. Not one customer made a mess there. Everyone are respectful to the sweet owner. The drinks itself are simple, reasonably priced on the cheaper side. Not sweet at all so ask if you want it to be sweeten. Quality and perfect desserts. Just semi-sweet so if you have a crazy sweet tooth, this is not your bakery. Again, prices are extremely reasonable and I see lots of locals who enjoy coming here. Prices are actually on the lower side of what I see throughout Houston. Passionfruit tart was my favorite, if you need someone to tell you what to try.

This store is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall so there is plenty of space for parking. The inside has a good number of seats and tables for customers to sit down and enjoy. There is also an area that has children's books- in both Japanese and English! I was thrilled to see some of the books that I grew up with. The glass display showcases a variety of different pastries and sweets. There is also a separate menu above for sandwiches, crepes, and quiches! I was indecisive so I asked the owner for recommendations and she chose the Mont Blanc and Total Raspberry Tart. Both pastries were perfect- the tart has a raspberry cream on the bottom and the fruit was fresh and naturally sweet. Not to mention, the crust was absolutely delicious. The Mont Blanc was just as tasty. The chestnut puree, Chantilly cream, and crust were all *chef's kiss* And the best part of it all is that the pastries were not too sweet (for those of you who are new to Asian pastries, they are meant to be lighter and not overly sweet)! While my friend and I were enjoying the pastries, I was able to have a brief conversation with the owner and she was incredibly welcoming and kind. Overall, I was thrilled to be able to finally try Chez Kobayashi Pastries and I can't wait to come back and try their savory dishes! ごちそうさまでした‍
