I decided to visit three brothers after passing by more than countless times. I was in need for a cup of coffee and a few cookies so why not? I ordered cup of latte and a few cookies - rainbow cookies and almond cookies. The rainbow cookie I had was alright. I wish I had the almond cookies before I gave them to my wife though. Anyhow, I think my wife liked the almond cookies. Latter was alright and I had no complaint. The whole order costed me around $11 which was reasonable. The cookies was around $2 / piece and you can do the math on my cup of latter. Overall, it was very reasonable price. I probably come back and try different things. read more

I've heard of this place numerous times before deciding to trek on out here. I'm glad I did! Upon arrival we went to the side entry to the outdoor patio because I had my furry baby Tupac with me and instantly met several different groups with their babies. One of them offered to help watch Tupac so that I could go inside and order. I walked inside and was immediately greeted and noticed how much indoor seating there was. There were cases of goodies and so much to choose from that I was already impressed just by the sheer volume. My favorite item has to be the cup made of chocolate filled with brownies + mousse! Pumpecapple pie cake! Now say that 3 times fast! WooHoo! This was the first time to this bakery and once I placed my online order, it was ready for pick up exactly at my specified time. A staff member brought the pumpecapple pie cake out from the back room, verified my details and even brought it out to the car. If you've seen the videos on the internet, you know this pie cake is a monstrosity of deliciousness, weighing in around 25 lbs. My friendsgiving 2018 crew decided that this would be our dessert, and it was a show stopper! Videos, pics, Boomerangs, Snaps galore photo-ops! The reason I give this a 5 star is because of the online service, reliability, friendly pick up customer service and overall taste of each layer pie cake. In and of itself, each layer was divine. It's definitely sweet, so be prepared. But the cream cheese icing that holds the cake architecture is delightful. Be sure to prepare yourself to cut this with a machete, or long and strong knife (that's what she said) because it's big and heavy. Yes sir! And also, be prepared to cut it into slices since once the foundation is cut into, it may begin to topple, so tell your guests to have platter long plates at the ready! Each slice will not fit on a conventional sized plate so get your utensils and mouth ready for a delicious treat of a lifetime. This place came with great recommendations online and I want to say: it isn't bad. It just didn't live up to they hype. The key lime pie was INCREDIBLE. But my Oreo cupcake was meh. I don't understand the icing. It's super thick, but I was surprised when it was nearlly harder than fondant. I was hoping it was a fluffy creamy icing. It made the cupcakes size way more annoying than an fun experience. The cupcake was also a little dry. It fell apart and wasn't moist. Flavor was good though. Interesting approach... they only make simple cakes for weekend pickups. So no colored frosting. No 1/2 chocolate 1/2 vanilla cake... they also don't bake at this location and hence can't accommodate anything "unique" such as pink frosting. Bought a carrot cake here for 49.99 and it was horrible. So fry you could choke. Had to throw out. Spoke with Hannah, manager who stated she loves carrot cake but doesn't eat it here bc it's bad. She stated they have had many complaints and stated she would give me a credit for the next time I came in. Came there today and was offered 2 cupcakes which is not what we discussed. It's a Jewish bakery! They serve cakes by the slice (or order your own cake they have books of cakes). They also serve coffee and smoothies. One of my really good girlfriends loves the RUM BALLS here, it has a rich flavor infused with rum. I wasn't too crazy about the cookies here but I really enjoyed the cake balls! The one with chocolate fudge is a complete miss. I asked for Pecan Pie once, and was sold chocolate fudge Pecan Pie instead which ended up in trash after the first bite. The rest at this bakery is average at best and certainly not justified of high prices. Last week I purchased what seemed to be a standard cheesecake which came with super sweet icing on top. For some inexplicable reason, you can't get onion boards in New York City anymore. What was once a staple of my childhood had become a vague memory. The ONLY place that still makes onion boards that I could find is 3 Brothers. So I called to have a couple shipped to my parents' house while I visited this week. They were supposed to arrive on Wednesday or Thursday. I emailed on Wednesday to get a tracking number and found out that my order had somehow gotten misplaced. They offered to send out a new order the following Monday, but I really wanted to be there when my folks opened the box. I asked if there was any way to send it out sooner and got a quick response - they'll overnight it to my folks at no extra charge. On Friday morning, the onion boards arrived and my parents (and I) were thrilled. Not only were they DELICIOUS, but they doubled the order. What could have been a huge disappointment turned into a wonderful surprise. The email address for customer support is Memory Makers and it's completely accurate. Today was my one year anniversary at my job. My boss came into your store and she said they aroma of everything was amazing! She couldn't decide what to buy because everything looked so delicious. However she bought me some classic danish pastries. So I bought them home to share with the family. I have had a sheet cake from here and it was delicious. My favorite thing I have purchased is the poppy seed bread; it was super moist and tasted great! I am so disappointed in the service I received from 3 brothers yesterday regarding my daughter's birthday cake. I will say I have previously had a good experience with 3 brothers. I completed an online order form for her cake on Dec. 22 (cake needed on Dec. 28). I specified on the form that I would pick up from the Memorial location. I then receive an email outlining cost and directing me to call the store and pay for the cake. I called the Memorial location; however I was told that the email had come from the Braeswood location and I could not place the order with them because Braeswood had all the information. But I was assured that all I needed to do was specify that I would need the cake picked up from the Memorial location. Called the Braeswood location, went over entire order, colors, flavor etc and paid in full. Of course specifying that I would be collecting from the Memorial location. I arrive at the Memorial location on Dec. 28 at 1 pm (time specified on order form). They do not have my cake nor do any of their locations. I then pull up my credit card receipt. Destiny (at the Memorial location) was nice and helpful, but kept reminding me that she was only the messenger. She calls Katie (manager at the Braeswood location) who says they did not see my order and I had two choices: They could refund me (my daughter's birthday dinner is now 4 hours away) or I could pick up from the Braeswood location at 4pm in the heart of Houston traffic. Of course I pick option 2 because we need a cake! I arrive at the Braeswood location at 4pm. Katie is not there. I wait about 15 minutes while they box up the cake. When I see it, the color is WRONG! Evidently Katie had not bothered to read the entire order, she scanned the form and saw a picture of the design I wanted. After the mishaps I was given a 50% discount. I am actually quite shocked at this level of disregard from 3 brothers. So disappointing. read more

I ordered a cake for my son's 2nd birthday, a cake that they have never made before. Some of you may have seen that "5" cake floating around social media... where they bake a tie dye number "5" into a vanilla loaf cake, so when you cut it open, the 5 stands out. I sent a picture of this cake to Three Brothers Bakery, and they took the challenge. My only worry was that the cake wouldn't be as moist as usual. (*side note, I always buy my cakes from Three Brothers Bakery because they always make great looking and great tasting cakes) I worried for absolutely NO reason. The red velvet cup cakes are the best here, which run $3.99 each. The homemade cream cheese frosting is on point on these velvet cupcakes. All other cupcakes are pretty average tasting and the the staff is friendly (but they kind of seemed forced to be that way). Their service isn't consisted with a genuine friendliness, but a smile-through-grin, canned-script approach. If you are a bread lover, as I am, look no farther! Best bagels and challah bread in Houston. Everything is made fresh daily and it's obvious. The cream cheese icing is SO amazing so I recommend any cakes/cupcakes that possess this icing. Personally my favorite is the Italian Cream Cake. The cheesecake is underrated being that they are amazing! The cookies are delicious; my recommendation Raspberry Hamentashen!! If you need a wedding, birthday or any custom cake, these decorators are incredible! It's no wonder the owner was on Food Network. The owners, managers, and workers are all thoughtful and hard working and customer satisfaction is always a priority.
