I stopped by for some fresh macaroons, and the young girl at the front was very pleasant and helpful. The bakery itself is adorable with many beautiful cakes for weddings and special occasions. However, they have many baked goods to choose from for your daily needs such as cookies, snack, pastries, and some accessories, such as cake, toppers. I got a mix variety of the macaroons and I was pleasantly impressed with how perfect they were and even the fresh fruit in the middle for the fruit flavored macarons. Would certainly recommend this place in Houston. read more

Le Swan - Delicious and Beautiful Cake!!! - Bakeries Near Me - Houston, Texas

Walking in the place is a dream! Its the most adorable little bakery. I placed an order for a two tiered cake. The staff was very nice and made me feel confident in what I was ordering. I shared photos of my vision and I decided on a carrot cake with cream cheese filling on top and a chocolate vanilla swirl cake with fresh strawberries on the bottom cake. I was impressed by the beauty of the cakes in the shop and that made me feel happy about what I was quoted for the cake. The cake was absolutely everything I wanted. It was beautiful and exactly like the picture. Received so many compliments and inquiries about the cake. It was so beautiful that it hurt to cut it. The strawberry filing was impressively fresh strawberries! Both flavors of the cake were delicious, very moist and fresh. 10 stars and lots of future orders for Le Swan!!!!!! read more

Recommend ordering custom macarons here! Designs come out super cute, tasty, and prices are reasonable. Love that you can see the menu online and email to order. I did order a custom cake and cake pops here for the same event. Upset that the poke ball was placed upside down (red is supposed to be top, white bottom), but the day of event was pick up day so couldn't do much. Cake was moist, not too sweet. Did not like cake pops though, the coating had a artificial taste to it. Friendly staff! Was always treated with respect and loved that they accommodated to my requests. I was able to order the 2 dozens custom Harry Potter macarons the same week, which was very generous of them. read more

Came across this beautiful bakery. Had a last minute birthday cake request and everything went well! Customer service was phenomenal. The owner Tina (Thien Nga) deserves all the recognition! I got their single tier cake with vanilla and bavarian cream. It was perfect. Not overly sweet like how all cakes are nowadays. Baked fresh for all of my friends to enjoy, especially the birthday girl. I told everyone about my wonderful experience and recommend Le Swan to them. I also got their marble cakes on display. I will continue to support and return for future events for birthdays, celebration, and more. read more

Not happy with Le Swan. Their transportation box was flimsy and not sturdy to be transported. Sundays they do not deliver so my husband had to pick up the cake. He drove like a turtle home. The cake was leaning by the time it made it home. Unacceptable. I've ordered numerous 2 tier cakes and never experienced this. Of course there's no one to contact on Sunday regarding my issue. When I got a hold of someone at the Bakery on Tuesday her response was that my husband must have stopped quickly on the break. Ridiculous. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT ORDER HERE! read more

I called last minute on a Friday afternoon to see if they had any ready to go cakes and I got the last one. Beautifully decorated came with a cake server and candles. It was a small 6" cake for $65 but gorgeous nonetheless. Haven't cut into the cake yet but the vanilla cream horn I bought as well was delicious! Customer service was top notch. I'd go back for sure. read more

I'm only reviewing a walk in experience for pre made cupcakes. I went to early vote and it was my daughter's birthday; I needed three cupcakes because we just wanted to have something to blow out candles. I spotted this bakery on the way home and popped in. It's decorated cute and the decorated macron's looked adorable. I bought 3 cupcakes, 2 filled strawberry and one cookies and cream. They were flat and meh. They are not worth 13$ for three. They were not bad just okay and pricey to me. I wouldn't go here again; it seems like this is a place that focuses on customer cakes so that was my bad. read more

My new favourite bakery!!! Their sugar cookies are soft and too beautiful! Macarons crack upon touch (soft), something I look for when I buy macarons. The unicorn and cat macarons are a HUGE hits! Purchased these for gift bags, and everyone has been texting asking for more!!! I love that their French butter cream cakes tastes just like my Aunt's. It's hard for me to find these anywhere in Texas! You can customize cakes and cookies! read more

A small little bakery on the west side of town, but creates some absolutely beautiful items. I've seen this unsuspecting bakery opened for a couple of years now, but never had the chance to stop by until recently. It's a very cute, French style bakery with a case full of macarons, cookies, and other pastries. It looks like they make custom cakes and cookies as well, so if you're looking to cater for a party, this may be worth a visit. I didn't try too much of their stuff, but I did get a few sugar cookies and truly enjoyed it! The cookie was still soft and wasn't overly sweet like other places have done. I also really enjoyed that the frosting was just soft enough and didn't taste stale. I asked the pricing for custom cookies, and it was $60/dozen. Not sure what market rate is, but from what I've heard, it seems to be pretty comparable. Their design and technique is flawless and the cookies looked absolutely adorable. I will definitely consider coming back for my next party. read more

This bakery is definitely a hidden gem. I was referred to this bakery and I have to say I am thankful. I needed a cake and some others desserts for my daughter's birthday dinner. When ordering the cake It was seamless. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful. The bakery is very trendy so many designs and treats it's captivating. When I arrived I was helped immediately. My cake order was ready on time and was exactly like the picture given to them. I also picked up some petit fours and strawberry cake balls. Everything was amazingly delicious and burst with flavor. The cake was moist and the icing on each item made me want another bite. The strawberry cake balls were my favorite the amount of strawberry flavor in each bite kept me wanting more. I am not a big dessert person but I must say these delights made me think twice. I recommended this bakery you will not be disappointed. read more

Nice chill spot that's hidden in the china town area. Great coffee and great pastries. If your in the area you must try

I have ordered cake here a few times before and going to give an honest review. If you are looking for a nice and artistic looking cake but doesn't really care for the taste, then this place is a go-to. They can pretty much make any design of your liking and it will be beautiful. I usually order cake here purely for photo purposes. The taste is disappointing though. It can be sugary sweet but not flavorful. I ordered a few different flavors but all of them were lack of flavor. For example, chocolate filling wasn't chocolate-y, vanilla cake had a most boring taste. Their cannoli was also bad and stale tasting. read more

I ordered my daughter's first birthday cake from here, and it turned out perfectly! The cakes are amazing--not only do they look fantastic, but they taste delicious as well! When we first came to this bakery the owner seemed nice and little did we know she would be such a rude person that tried to add stress to our wedding day. You were one reason for stress on our wedding day and I hope no couple EVER has to go through what we went through with you because of YOU. As a bride in my experience you were rude, unhelpful, and greedy as someone on here has already mentioned. Why should we pay again for a cake that was not supported in an adequate box in the first place. See pictures below for the "box" that the bakery sent the cake in! THE WEDDING CAKE! How is there any support in this plastic box? You must be really new at this if you are 1. Not helpful to a BRIDE and GROOM for their wedding cake and 2. If you deliver to your family only? What kind of business is that? Not a very good one in my opinion. Being the bride and having to hear that 1, my cake is destroyed and 2, that the baker is being difficult to make us a new one, that is something I do not wish upon anyone. You replied to my husband YELLED at you? Ma'am he did not yell at you. Please take your false accusations elsewhere!!! In fact, he went and told our wedding planner and she had to beg you to even make us a new one-which you still wanted money for? Huh? No that is not right, because in my opinion you are just that rude to understand the severity of it being OUR WEDDING CAKE. In my opinion, if you are not willing to help your customers and only your family for deliveries then you should not be in business. Do not blame our groomsmen for your lack of packaging for our wedding cake. You said "we agreed out of sympathy over the situation," no you did not, YOU DID NOT HAVE SYMPATHY. You only said you would when our planner asked you numerous times to help us out. And STILL didn't make us a new cake unless we paid you again? We understand that once we leave the bakery you are not responsible but you ARE responsible for how you package your cakes and that IN FACT WAS SUBPAR!!! Everyone reading this if you are looking for a bakery that is rude, unhelpful, and REGRETTABLE this is the one. Do not waste your time here. This bakery is not worth the stress and attitude they give to their customers. read more

I had high hopes for this place but their cake fell short. I ordered a simple cake for my son's bday. It looked good but was inedible. The cake itself was on the dry side and had no flavor. You'd think it being a cake would be sweet but it didn't have any sweetness. The texture of the butter cream was waxy like and tasted flat out like a stick of butter. Gross. The only thing that had any flavor was the jam between the layers, other than that 0 flavor. After cutting two slices, the cake went straight in the trash along with the $95 I paid for it. Won't be ordering cake from here again. read more

Super disappointed. What I wanted and what I received were two very different things. For $120, I expected way, way more. I was able to rearrange the balls and make it look at least a bit better. The Minnie dress clearly was cut off and the Minnie in general just seem small for the cake. read more
