Service was terrible. Unprofessional. Will never order here again. I got sucked in from the other reviews but their behavior was disgusting. I unfortunately got to learn first hand that this couple Cesar and tiara do not know how to conduct business. They have attempted to shut blame but each time we've spoken it's been with an audience so they can see the unreal crappy behavior. They'll also be leaving their feedback on the wack service. Then they held the Uber driver hostage. Locked the door and tried to force him to make ME take down a review of my horrible experience. Ordered a cake rush order as first baker got COVID they agreed to help because they already had two red cakes with rosettes ready someone else cancelled. I was fine with this just wanted a nice staff party. They close 30 mins after I get out of work and are an hour away. This was ny fault I didn't realize how far they were near Rosenberg. Initially they were unwilling to meet me or wait no matter what bargaining I did and o was unable to come to late in the am. I asked for a partial reimbursement when we determined "there were no options" and "what do you want me to tell you" again their prerogative but to just believe I won't get a product and you get to keep all my cash or "some store credit" would amount for the fully paid cake is insane. I advised I'd file a law suit Cesar hung up in my face. Called back he advised he'd sue me Joey him know if he has time time and resources he should because I'm still following through with this. I attempted to meet them later in the afternoon which they bragged that they wanted to meet up so they can have mw arrested for trespassing since the store was "technically closed" and they didn't intend on providing my cake. I finally got someone to get the cake which disappointing enough the cake wasn't covered fully and they didn't wrap it and this was supposed to go through several concierge. They held the pickup up. And tried to force me to remove my rating because "it made them look bad" locking the door behind him with just Cesar and tiara pulled out a chair and pencil and paper and said and I quote "now YOU write me a 5 star review". Moral of the story. I will never ever ever look in this businesses direction and you shouldn't either. From the reviews and what I've experienced personally this establishment picks and chooses who and how they choose to serve others and when they'll be respectful and professional. I wi not debate with this company and I'm ok with you responding talking garbage do every review I leave on every platform it just further drives home your lack of everything described above. You're behavior negligence unprofessional and down right shadiness is sad. I expected more from a 4 star bakery. It's time to revisit the basics of customer service, business to consumer relations and clientele retention. At the end of the day a costco cake would've been better. They had a tasting session on a Saturday morning and We finalized an elephant design as he loves animals and I picked a pineapple cake with white chocolate filling and butter cream icing. Oh my god it was delicious, soft and looked lovely too. We also ordered chocolate cupcakes - moist and creamy icing. So yummy that at the tasting my little boy was gesturing us to feed him too. I was too embarrassed to bring the cake out on display for the client because it looked like an experimental cake. She of course offered $15 back for the cheaply made crown but let's be honest I paid $130 I was willing to give her money for her labor and she give me more than $15 back because at this point we weren't going to let the cake be seen. She of course had an attitude and started making unnecessary changes, that's when I settled it and asked for a full refund and walk away from the cake. She wrote a check and of course walked to the back never apologizing. At the end of it all I went elsewhere hours before the event and found a great cake. This year we went back to order the same size cake with same flavors and fillings as a prior year. Dont know what changed but the whole cake, including the design was thrown off. Also the price of the same size and similar work had doubled or almost tripled. Not worth it anymore for mediocre cake. Not going back to pay 3x price for something I didnt ask for.. This was one of three custom cake store that I went to check out for my baby shower back in November 2013. I love their sample sizes (a cupcake). The employees were nice and polite. I will say this their prices are reasonable. I got quotes from other places that were $300 difference! I chose a 2-tier cake that feeds 20-30. My two flavors Red Velvet and Strawberry with fresh strawberries. They were so moist and rich of flavor! My Strawberry cake was the top tier and it was first to go among my guests! They still ask me about this cake today! The only reason I couldn't give them a 5-Star rating is because my centerpiece was made out of fondant and was too heavy and my cakes started to lean. Other than that the design of the cake was a perfect match to my baby shower theme! I'm expecting again and will ordering them for this baby shower! Maybe just all strawberry. Can't wait! read more

((sighs)) where do I even began? My family and I have been going to Tiara's for about 6 years. The first 2-3 years were GREAT. The cakes were reasonably priced, they created beautiful cakes exactly how we wanted for our family events, we NEVER had a problem with them. Fast forward to present day. The last few cakes we've ordered from them there has ALWAYS been some type of problem. And the cake decor has been sloppy and the prices have risen. We recently ordered a PJ Masks cake for my sons 4th birthday. I know for a FACT that when you place an order for the cake you fill out the form or an employee there fills out the form with you there and gets all the information like what you want on the cake and how to spell the persons name. Well to my surprise when I went to pick up the cake the lady asks me how do I spell my sons name..."Umm you should know my son's father went over this with ya'll" well I was informed the person "they sent the cake too to do the edible image messed up my son's name" and she would correct it. I literally had to wait 5 minutes for her to correct the mistake which was a SLOPPY ATTEMPT (see picture). Then she had the nerve to not even offer a discount but to try to charge us full price. My son's father was furious why should we pay for THEIR MISTAKE. She then explained she wasnt at fault the company she sent the cake to messed up. Umm ok she then budged and offered us $10 off for the mistake. Long story short Tiara's lost a long time customer. The last few mistakes are the final straw especially when you are charging $70/$80 for a cake!! No layers at that SMH Never again read more

There's no better way to make someone's birthday extra special than to surprise them with a birthday cake, which is exactly what I did for a friend recently. After researching a few cake places, I decided to try Tiara Cakes due to its excellent Yelp reviews. I must say, I was very pleased with my choice- definitely the "icing on the cake" for this birthday celebration. My friend is a huge New England Patriots fan so it was a no-brainer for me when trying to come up with a theme for his cake. I found a design on Pinterest that I really liked and decided to stop by Tiara Cakes before finalizing my decision to use their services to inquire about pricing and to see if they could make my cake similar to the Pinterest design. The lady I spoke with was nice and answered all my questions. A few days later, I came back to place my order. She asked me to email her the picture of the design and said she would try her best to get it exactly like the picture, however because my cake size was going to be smaller than the cake on Pinterest, I figured it wouldn't be exact. When I picked up the cake, I was pleased with the outcome. But I have to be honest- I was a little disappointed that she didn't add some of the cake toppers the picture had- a helmet, a small Patriots flag, a football, and a #1 fan hand. I'm assuming she didn't have any similar toppers. Either way, it still turned out pretty awesome as it did have the Patriots colors and logo on it. My advice would be to make sure you stress the specifics of what you want to be included on your cake (toppers, etc.) especially if you have a picture and want certain things to be exactly the same. Prices here are very reasonable, which is a plus. I think I bought an 8 inch one layer cake and it was $50.00. They require you to pay half when you order as a deposit and the rest upon pick up. They have multiple flavors, filings, and icings to choose from but I kept it simple and went with a vanilla cake flavor with butter cream icing. I was hoping the cake would taste as good as it looked and I was right. It was everything! Very moist and the buttercream icing was as good as buttercream icing can get. Yes and yes! Would I use Tiara Cakes again? Absolutely! Overall, they delivered on presentation as well as taste AND my friend couldn't have been more surprised to have a birthday cake, swagged out "Patriots-style" so the mission was definitely accomplished.
