The cafe was were well decorated and had a nice atmosphere along with lots of sitting. They had a large selection of drinks and sweets. The staff were nice and friendly. I ordered their iced einspanner, honey lavender iced coffee, matcha crepe cake, and rose romance crepe cake. The iced einspanner was good and had a nice strong coffee taste (8/10). The honey lavender iced coffee was good a first but after the lavender taste got weird and you couldn't taste the honey (7/10). The matcha crepe was amazing, it was moisture, soft, and actually tasted like matcha (9/10). As for the rose romance crepe, it was soft and moisture but the rose was too overwhelming that it tastes like you were eating perfume (6/10). Overall, great place to try their unique drink and pretty sweets
The cafe is cute and cozy inside but minimal seating. Your order is brought out to you and the employees are really nice! They also have some tea cups/tea sets for sale. Drinks and pastries are good and not too sweet. There was an assortment of sweets that I'm sure changes daily. Certain flavors for macarons (like the taro flavor on Tuesdays?) are only offered on certain days. The matcha I got had the wrong flavor added but good thing I like yuzu LOL. The matcha came out a nice, vibrant green color and tasted great; not watered down at all! Usually if the matcha isn't green enough, then I won't go back to a place but here the color was perfect! The oolong tea my friend got was brewed nicely. The rose crepe cake was very strong at first then mellowed out. The cheesecake was delicious. I wish there was a station to put away all the dirty dishes because there were a couple of empty tables with trash and dirty dishes still on them.

Got takeout from La Plume. The cafe is small and was not super busy. The staff were super helpful and seemed to really like their cakes. I ended up going with a classic strawberry shortcake, a rose crepe cake, and a Dubai chocolate cake. The strawberry shortcake was nice and light, with good strawberry bites in between and a light cream. The rose crepe cake was strong, almost unbearably so, with a thin gelatin layer and a nice floral taste. The Dubai chocolate cake was interestingly experimental, with the pistachio kanafe layer being a tad stale and a raspberry filling between one of the chocolate slices. I think the chocolate cake would be a little bit better if the texture of the chocolate cake was more similar to the strawberry shortcake. Overall, really yummy and I'll definitely have to be back to try their other options!
La Plume Bakery & Cafe is a French/Japanese-inspired bakery located on Westheimer. I tried their pistachio iced latte, Chantilly cake slice, and Pineapple Coconut Daisy Mousse. The pistachio latte was very vibrant, and they did not skimp on the pistachio sauce--very much appreciated! The daisy cake was eyecatching! It was a mousse cake and had a bottom piece/crust that was a bit hard, and overall, it did not stand out to me as much as the blueberry cake. The blueberry cake was moist and not too sweet, which I prefer! The interior is pretty and has a minimal and floral vibe. There are some tables, but seating might be limited if you have a large group. They also make custom cakes and feature it on their Instagram, which I hope to try one day. I enjoyed their coffee and Chantilly cake and look forward to trying their other cake flavors!

This unassuming hidden gem is tucked inside a strip mall on Westheimer and holds a treasure trove of goodies. I was delighted with the number of specialty coffee options they had, ranging from a Plum Iced Americano to a Black Sesame Latte, the latter of which I indulged in. The sesame flavor was subtle and just the right balance between coffee/flavor. The total came to around $6, which is about average for the area and specialty drink, and service was prompt. There were a number of goodies like macarons and aesthetic pastries which I stoically did not indulge in... but boy, were they tempting! The inside of the café is small but cute, with great lighting, some seating, and other goods for sale like vintage tea cups and local coffee. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area, particularly if you're interested in the more "unique" coffee drinks they have to offer.

The Mango Mousse was the perfect balance of creamy sweet velvet and tangy capturing the essence of mango in every bite. The Chantilly Cream Cake is always luscious and perfectly fluffy, creamy and dreamy. If you haven't visited this quaint tea shop/bakery, please do. Each bite feels like a cloud. Support small business with great service and excellent food.
Cute & cozy spot!! Plenty of parking in the lot. I came here with my friend in search for some cake slices & this place did not disappoint! It's a great place to catch up with friends and even study. They have a variety of flavors for their crepe cakes, cakes, macaroons. Service was great. Very nice! Earl Grey crepe cake slice: 4.5/5 not too sweet which is perfect for me! I did not enjoy the tea leaves inside that much tho. Chantilly cake slice: 4/5 very yummy, but the top was a bit hard Osmanthus Oolong tea: 3.5/5 cute presentation I will definitely come back to try their coffee & other teas!
I have yet to be disappointed! La Plume's baked goods, especially the croissants, are excellent and their French macarons are some of the best I've had. The chocolate macaron was almost brownie-like with its chewy texture and rich cocoa flavor. The ambiance is modern but charming with light pastels and tiled walls, and I'm especially fond of the assortment of China and tea cups behind the counter. As far as service, the staff is friendly and always greets you quickly when you arrive. My only complaint is that I wish you were closer...
Adorable! I love the aesthetic and decor of the place. The service was helpful, it being our first time. Now to the drinks! I was impressed to see they use my favorite line of syrups, "1883 France"!! Those are the best and they have so many options. We ordered an almond milk latte with lavender syrup and an almond milk matcha latte with rose syrup. They came in these cute glasses and tasted delicious!! Seriously I drove an hour out to try it and now I crave it constantly, now considering making the drive way more than I should ( it's that good.) you have to try it you will love it !
Went in yesterday for the first time and we got 3 things. Can't recall exact names but if I'm correct we got the chocolate cake, ube taro cake, and a big croissant roll. The chocolate cake was probably my favorite out of the 3. I loved the combo of mouse, jam, buttercream icing and cake. I love that there was only one layer of the jelly/jam, sometimes it can be too much and for some people the texture isn't the best, but we loved it. The ube taro cake was light, fluffy, and the flavors were more subtle but delicious. More airy and just heavenly overall. Had more of a whipped icing, so it wasn't as thick/heavy as other kinds. Croissant was delicious and nice to have for breakfast the next morning. Service was quick, place was really well lit and clean. Didn't dine in so I didn't get a feel for the ambiance. Bit since I plan on going back for sure I'll try to chill in there for a bit next time. Thanks!
La Plume is one of the few spots you can find a crepe cake in Houston west side. They have select Mille crepe cake flavors and I got to try their Passionfruit Crepe cake. It was scrumptious. This is one of the only bakeries I have found in Houston that offers a passion fruit flavor. This bakery specializes in chantilly cakes and you can order online. They have pastries like croissants, macaroons, and variety of coffee and tea options. Great service and clean cute mint green environment. read more
Cute lil spot to stop by for a sweet treat and espresso. I really like this cute lil dessert spot that offers a multitude of baked goods. The sweets are the perfect not too sugary sweetness. The chilled cake slices were displayed beautifully under the glass. The macaron selection looked wonderful, and I noticed they offered a cute macaron gift set. The croissants looked nice and golden. Went to chill here with a friend and ordered some coffee and cakes! It's a cute little cafe and the server was patient and nice with us. We got the rose cake and strawberry shortcake. The cakes were light and sweet! I also got the matcha einspanner which was also great--had the matcha flavor and blended well with the cream on top. I actually had their pandan wedding cake which was phenomenal, just wish they sold it. Plenty of parking outside! read more

I'm going to start off by stating the that La Plume is a family owned restaurant, where the mom and pop come in and out of the facility. The place itself is quite nicely put together with ample amount of décor and good, up-tempo modern touch to things. Menu shows an array of pastries that look absolutely delicious. Coffee menu shows more than just regular drip coffee, but another good amount of options from pour overs to special monthly matcha lattes. I elected to get the flat white for $5, which turned out pretty good. So why 3/5 stars? Perhaps its my own biasness of being an Asian kid growing up a small mom/pop restaurant business myself. Maybe its my ideology that with such a nice place as La Plume, the business's staff should all play the part of looking professional. As mentioned earlier, this is family ran, with maybe perhaps an employee in the back working on pastries. But I have a personal issue with the (who I am assuming) owner bring in three kids in tshirts, sandals and crocs, all under 12 and wondering/working the bakery cafe. I do have to share that overall they weren't exactly acting out, in fact one of these kids were being very helpful with cleaning tables and putting up dishes. The younger ones were messing around and screaming at one point. Don't get me wrong, the owner of the place can do whatever the heck they want. The faculty is beautiful, food and coffee are elegant and the overall atmosphere is enjoyable. However, if you paint yourself as an upper end cafe with pretty decor of modernism, at least LOOK the part behind the counter. Don't need a ~11 year old kid in a t shirt and crocs cleaning your tables while their younger brother is screaming on his iPad next to a patron, its pretty tacky. read more

Nice vibes in the shop. They ran out of the coffee lover crepe cake sadly. The slice of matcha crepe cake was ok, more moist than expected and not too sweet. Ordered macarons, pack of 5. The best ones were cookies and cream + creme brulee. Matcha was ok, and there was only a slight hint of pink guava in terms of flavor. We ordered ube but it did not taste like it (possibly blueberry instead?). Maybe the wrong macaron was packed? It was apparent that one worker seemed experienced while the other might be new on the job. Overall this place is worth trying once. read more
So so cute inside! It's pretty small so not a ton of seating but it's so cute and it was nice to spend time in. Tons of parking in the parking lot as well as a restroom! I did look at all their crepe cakes macarons and other bakery items and had to hold myself back. I do really want to come back and try some as they had really yummy sounding macaron flavors! I ordered a black sesame latte. It was a decent latte, wasn't as strong as I'd like nor creamy, and the black sesame flavor just wasn't strong enough for me. SO glad I discovered this place. They have so many Asian desserts and drinks that it was difficult to choose from. Despite that, everything we ordered tasted amazing. We got the Earl Grey Crepe Cake, Matcha Crepe Cake, and Einspanner. The layers of the crepe cake was just the right thickness and you can taste each flavor distinctively, especially the Earl Grey cake. This was also my first time trying Einspanner. Not only did it look so cute but it also tasted so good. Never expected this combination for coffee. Ever since I had the Einspanner here, I've been on a hunt to find others near me. If I am ever in the area again, I definitely want to come back for their macarons and baked goods. read more
This bakery had a great atmosphere and was super cute! I got the matcha and rose crepe cakes!! Both were delicious but the matcha one was a 100/10! SO good! We also got two drinks: an iced pistachio latte with oat milk and an iced matcha latte with oat milk. Both drinks were just okay (hence the 4/5 stars). The pistachio latte was pretty bitter and tasted mocha-like for some reason? The matcha wasn't the best quality in my opinion. Despite this, I would 100% come back so I could get the crepe cakes again!! read more
It was a patisserie here before! Happy to see a cafe emerge. I tried a few things out not nearly enough to write a good review. Because soft opening stage still. The croissants can be warmed up - highly recommended. The millicrepe cake is not as soft as lady M but still decent! I want to try the passion fruit one next!!! I'm pretty sure the macs are solid, they have a nice coffee machine inside so when I return I will not hesitate to get coffee. As soon as we walked in, Peggy told us how she recently opened 3 months ago and bought the cafe from her close friend . We came for croissants, and Peggy asked for us to wait a few moments as she was cooking some fresh.How could you resist?? Found this hidden gem while being in the area and turns out according to google that its a japanese/french cafe and bakery! Right when you walk in you get that pastry air and it just smells SO GOOD. While i cannot speak for the pastry portion of this establishment (on a diet) what i will say is that this is some of the best matcha ive had! They use the marukyu koyamaen matcha which is one of my fav powders for matcha! The ladies that run la plume are so sweet and make the experience so worth it. Enjoyed the desserts and coffee here! We came here after lunching at Avesta for a little afternoon snack. We got the lemon tart and a lavender macaron.
