    Summer puffs
    Hayley F.

The cafe's interior colors were inviting but the floor was dirty. They sell an array of Mille crepes and ice cream. I bought summer puffs, Nutella chocolate Mille crepe, and Oreo Mille crepe. The summer puffs were choux pastry coated with hardened chocolate, and inside filled with different ice cream flavors. The summer puffs were not good. The ice cream flavors were tasteless. Matcha flavor that didn't have matcha taste, vanilla didn't have vanilla taste. The Mille crepes were disastrous too. I expected strong Nutella and chocolate flavor but I got colored, no flavor thin crepe layers. The whipped cream was almost non-existent. Service was meh. I wouldn't be back for sure.

Nice cute place but this basque matcha cheesecake was soo good! Not too sweet so it's perfect for me and the lady was nice

I was craving crepe cake and found my new favorite spot! They have a deal for 4 slices for $27 They are not too sweet and the flavors are on point! The layers are perfect and the cream is so good. I ordered: Passion fruit: my favorite! Not tart Mango: very good Strawberry: very good Tiramisu: strong coffee flavor, very good

Wish the crepes were thinner and lighter and the cream whipped fluffier. Lady M makes better crepe cakes. Oh. Duh!

Cafetopia is definitely on to something. Layers of crepe separated by delicious cool filling. Just the right amount of light, fluffy sweetness to convince yourself you're making a moderately healthy dessert choice. Will be back again. Tried the mango and vanilla caramel crepe cakes . Only snagged these pics because I didn't start the review until the plates were clean. Also had the honey green tea, asked them to make it hot, which they did and it made the perfect finish to the delightfully sweet stop.

Woah what a hidden gem. This is basically another lady m crepe cake. I am beyond impressed that someone else was able to replicate their recipe. It's the strong matcha taste with extremely thin crepes and creamy filling that makes them on the same level as lady m. If you're a matcha lover and want some legit desert, you must come here. I ordered a last minute cake and they are able to accommodate. Additionally, they waited after hours for me to pick it up! I was stuck at work and gave them a call 20 mins before closing that I was 4 7 mins away and they waited! That really made my day. They also have other Asian goodies such as durian and rose. I bought it but haven't tried it yet. I have no doubt anything they make is good.

This place was actually really good. I got the Nutella crepe and my husband got the vanilla caramel crepe. I actually ended up liking the vanilla caramel one way better. Delicious!

This place is hidden inside an office tower and I would have never found it on my own. There is two hour visitor parking available at the front entrance and lots of other spots if you can find one that's not already occupied. The cafe is located on the first floor of the building, just look for their Cafetopia logo. Once you step foot behind their glass door, you'll see the bakery case immediately to your right. They also have a lunch menu featuring some Taiwan style dishes but I came just for their desserts. The matcha crepe cake and tiramisu crepe cake are the best in my opinion, with perfectly layered thin crepes and full of flavor. The matcha is the more concentrated kind and not your subtle and light tea flavor (and that's how I like it...strong!) The tiramisu was a nice rendition of the traditional that had a creamy and smooth finish. I also tried the mango crepe cake which presented itself in similar fashion to the other two, but the mango was too tart for my taste and it lacked the creamy texture. My friend who tried their durian crepe enjoyed it with no complaints although this cake was pricier than the rest. Lastly, I bought a few matcha mini cream puffs for a dollar a piece to try. It was worth it! The buttery and sugary baked top was a very good texture to the creamy green tea whipped cream like consistency filling inside each puff. I hope to get more of the cream puffs next time I go. They wrap each of the items separately in boxes so you don't have to worry about the desserts interacting with each other especially if you can't stand durian (stinky fruit, as some would say). The goods were transported safely from the cafe to my home inside the back of my car...no problem. Awesome crepe cakes for most part and looking forward to trying more items.

MILLE CREPE CAKES!!! YAS! They deliver to Mala Sichuan/ make their cakes. It is INSIDE of this building 6 stories/ gray building/ 1st floor. Small, cozy, love it! I mainly came here for desserts though.. Another yelper posted more desserts in photos, but when I came in today they only have puffs (pistachio cream) inside, milk-cream mille crepe cake, and tiramisu crepe cake at $7.99 per slice. Green tea mille crepe cake served later in the day. 2 days in advance to order, call in and check- they usually have a happy birthday cake ready to go! It cost likes $65-75 for the whole cake (depending on flavor), it takes a lot of time, love and care to make it soooo.. hence the pricing. I'll be coming back to try: -the braised pork -fried rice

Cafetopia is a hidden gem located in a small shopping strip off of Richmond Ave and Kirkwood. My younger sister had tried Lady M in New York, and was looking for another place that served strawberry crepe cakes, so I suggested we give Cafetopia a try. For our visit, we got a slice of their vanilla and caramel crepe cake, strawberry crepe cake, and chocolate nutella crepe cake. However, they seem to rotate the flavors out regularly from the options on their menu. Each slice was ~$7, but they also sell whole cakes that you can pre-order. All of the crepe cakes were deliciously light and fluffy with layers of cream between 25 layers of crepes. Out of the three we tried, the vanilla caramel was my favorite. However, all three were great, and not overly sweet. The only thing I wouldn't recommend from the cafe is their milk tea. The boba was a tad undercooked, and the milk tea was a bit bland. However, I will definitely return for their crepe cakes.

Yay for crepe cakes!! Super diehard fan of these pastries, and they're so hard to come by!! My husband came by around noon on a Friday and they were unfortunately out of most options. However he was able to snag me two matcha and one durian, as well as 2 vanilla cream puffs. The matcha crepe cakes are very solid, good emphasis on the matcha but could be a bit creamier (haven't tried the durian yet, will report back). The vanilla cream puff had a taste of coconut which I'm super into, but I do wish they were a lot bigger. They're essentially bite sized, but also only a dollar. Will have to try again sometime earlier in the day to get the full experience. I wish they could expand their hours, they're only open M-F from 8-3(?).

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

The staff were super friendly and worked as quickly as they could. There was a little bit of stress because of volume of orders and people, but they did the best they could and handled the traffic well. We got a variety of drinks and each enjoyed them-- I will say, all of the drinks are on the sweeter side, but definitely standard for kids. We literally got one of everything on the menu and I wasn't able to grab photos before the kids enjoyed them, but that's the whole point!
