Activate Cookie Monster Mode! I visited here for the first time (I've heard mixed reviews about Insomnia Cookies, so I had to try it for myself). The cookies are definitely warm, soft and delicious- I can see why folks come to get their sugar fix here. I ordered the "Cookie-wich" made with two Cookies of your choice with a scoop of ice cream in between. I chose Sugar cookies with Chocolate ice cream! It definitely hit the spot. Price was decent. P.S. if wanting a Cookie-wich with their featured Cookies it may be considered "deluxe" and cost more. Me and my friends decided to eat our sweet treats inside. There's plenty of bar style seating if you want to hang out. Also, lots of parking (private, street and garage). Cute place, but the only thing I'd say they need to consider is offering water (Pitcher of free water, cups) to customers who do stay. I needed it, and the only thing iffered to me was bottled water available for purchase. They were low on milk options too. Service was ok, they didn't give "we're excited to serve you!" But they did do their job. Once we finished we were out. I've had plenty of good cookies in my time and Insomnia Cookies isn't bad at all. I love that they stay open late (duh, it's called Insomnia l Cookies for a reason). Worth checking out. Enjoy!

My friend recommended me to try Insomnia Cookies. Because he won't eat any other cookies, including the ones I made. So, I agreed to try it today. Getting here is the usual route to Rice Village, except the direction to the store was confusing. The parking lot is very narrow. I had to carefully drive through it. According to the website, the founder started the business while he was studying at night in his dorm. He wanted something warm and sweet. I understand how he felt. I would want something delicious to keep me awake, too. That concept took off and the company expanded from his dorm room to all over the country. Here at Rice Village, near Rice University is no exception. But my experience wasn't as good as other reviewers. For the sake of argument, the service needs improvement. The cashier had insomnia and kept asking me if I was ready. No! The menu is so tiny. I have to take a picture and enlarge it on my phone. I got the chocolate chunks classic cookies. They came out warm and soft. The melted chocolate was the highlight of the tasting sensation. But the soft dough kind of worries me. Sorry. I'm too critical because I bake my own cookies. I need confirmation on the cooking temperature and the ingredients to make it soft. Because undercooked dough is not safe in my book.

I have been trying to stay away from sweets, but I recently had some freebie codes, and I couldn't keep away Insomnia Cookie has a variety of flavors of both cookies and ice creams. While a Crumbl cookie might be more hearty and complex, but I feel insomnia cookies often have better flavors This space is clean and trendy. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and efficient. I'm always in and out within minutes. Recently I put in an order for pickup, and I was late by an hour or so, and they didn't hand me cookies that had obviously been sitting out for hours, but they gave me fresh ones Another great thing is they are open late. So, if you want something sweet late at night you can swing by before 1am most nights, and 3am on Thursday's, Fridays and Saturdays Some tips: Download their app and join their rewards programs. They often have deals and freebies. If you put in your birthday you will receive a free classic cookie on your birthday Cheers!!

Overall, I was disappointed by these cookies. I had heard a lot of hype about them but they were not great. The cookie was cheaper than some places but was fairly dry and not unique. Because of this, I do not plan on returning.

Okay, so this is just an ice cream review. We walked in set on getting cookies. I had no idea they had ice cream. It was a hit! Delish! I had the Caramellionaire and I definitely recommend! Bar seating against the wall and front of the store looking outwards. Lots of traffic coming in and out of the store. I'm guessing it's something like Tiff's treats, being that the cookies are warm and they deliver. Parking is free, but it's right. If you can't find a spot in their lot, there's metered parking on the streets or there are a couple of garages in the area which are up to two hours free. Next time we will order cookies!

Omgoodness! This was definitely the best dessert I have had in a while. The peanut butter chocolate cookies was perfect! Especially if you are a peanut butter lover like me! And the Carmelion ice cream on top was superb! Perfect combo! Wish I could have eaten the whole thing (too much for me to handle). Wish I would have ordered a cookie to go. Cool vibe, open late and fast service. If there is a line, it moves fast. Highly recommend!

I had a terrible experience at this location. I understand we walked in during the last 10 minutes before closing, but the store was still open. From the moment we entered, the employee named Sephora had an attitude Because it was near the end of the shift, she wasn't sure which cookies were left, so every time we asked about one, she had to walk back and check. Instead of handling it professionally, she became visibly irritated. When I asked if she was okay, she told us we were "stressing her out," then rudely tossed our box of cookies at us. To make matters worse, she told us to leave before even serving the ice creams we had ordered. We didn't even receive all the cookies we paid for. I've never been treated with such disrespect in an establishment. I let her know this isn't how customers should be treated. I work in a restaurant myself, and I know that even if it's almost closing time, that's no excuse to disrespect paying customers. Her behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend visiting this location if she is working.

I wanted to try Insomnia cookies because I saw they had a promo going for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth collaboration. I called the hotline to make sure they had the FF sleeves and put my order in for 1 large box of 12 cookies and 1 lil dipper box with 12 small chocolate chip cookies and a small tub of cream cheese frosting. The cookies were delivered promptly. While they weren't as warm as I expected, they still tasted pretty good. I liked the cream cheese frosting a lot and the larger cookies were soft and crispy on the outer edge. I was surprised the larger cookies were still soft the next day. My favorite were the white chocolate macadamia which has a little coconut. The small cookies were pretty hard the next day, but nothing a microwave could not fix. On to the final fantasy sleeves. They were just printed paper but slip over the box making them look very nice. Also just a shout out--the call rep said they were random, but I put the one I wanted on the large box and they actually gave it to me. That really made my day. Overall, I'd say Insomnia is pretty close to Tiff's Treats. A little pricey, but I found a coupon for 20% off of $25, which was a decent deal and saved me delivery fees and taxes.

    Rude staff

Staff was so rude, didn't hear her say hello she slammed something into the trash and said let me know we you need help had to wait until she came back from the back to help and continued to be rude it was ridiculous. Looked at other review same girl in this photo that had a nasty attitude

Their warm cookies are delightful. Many vegan options and one yummy gluten free selection as well. The cookies always taste so fresh and not missing any flavor. Staff are so kind and delightful every time. There's space to sit insides as well. They have some ice cream choices too so definitely check it out!!!

Awesome customer service! All the cookies were extremely fresh, I came in the afternoon. The ice cream was very smooth and I could tell it's being frozen properly. Very clean inside as well, no outside seating. Can't wait to come back, every cookie we chose was delicious!

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

Also got a bag of chocolates, which are weighed by the pound. The only qualm I have is that the chocolates are not labeled, so when you mix them all together, it truly is a bit of a Russian roulette on what you'll get. Everything was super yummy. Will definitely need to be back!

Our pass was for 1pm and we were inside by 1:10pm. They do reserve the tables initially for the fast passes, at least when we came in at our time and it was great because I couldn't imagine being here without a table since I had a group of little ones with me! The staff were super friendly and worked as quickly as they could. There was a little bit of stress because of volume of orders and people, but they did the best they could and handled the traffic well. Inside you will also find French pastries, coffees and teas, gelato, milkshakes, sandwiches and macaroons. I tried the Chocolate Royale and the Ruby. Chocolate Royale - a petit chocolate mouse slice with flat chocolate panels along the sides. It is delicate and tasty. If you're a chocolate lover, this is definitely up your alley. Ruby - visually this looks like a strawberry Hershey kiss, with red powder on the exterior and a top piece of foil to resemble foil on the wrapper of a hershey kiss.
