This place is an accident hazard.We went in while our car was charging at EVGo. Floor's were flooded and the floor was soaking wet and the attendant said well I have the only fan I have to try to dry the floor, not only was the vending area wet but the restroom floors were soaked. I would skip this place, unless you can only walk and this is your closest location for froyo. Majority of the flavors are overwhelming sweet, consistency (or maybe cause I came here at 9 PM) is icy and doesn't have that froyo texture. It's like a semi-melted popsicle. Toppings are alright, nothing to take home. What rubbed me the wrong way are the two teenagers sitting by the register. As it was getting close to closing time, I noticed a Hispanic older gentleman came out and start cleaning. One of the teenagers, a boy, was basically bossing him around when both of the teenagers should be helping to close instead of being on their phone and just sitting by the register. FYI, it's self serve including the toppings. Overall, meh. Ambiance was not there. I rather buy a box of premade brownie or something and make it at home than coming here or drive out another 5 minutes to have a much better experience and taste. read more

Don't you love that no matter what city in America you find yourself in, there is a really great chance a good ol' reliable stand-by for fro-yo is near by? If it ain't Menchie's or Pinkberry, it's Yogurtland. Extended heat dome summers in Tejas should keep places like this in business for awhile. I like trying exotic flavours. Having sampled the Ube (Filipino purple yam), I found it to be perfume-y and nutty with some coconut dimension. It's definitely an acquired taste, and I ain't acquiring it. OTOH I see how it can be addicting for some. My chocoholic friend said Dragon Fruit sorbet was okay, and of course went on to get a cup of Rocky Road and Birthday Cake. For her, Yogurtland equals Menchie's with fewer varieties or chocolate options. That don't make me no never mind since I ain't choc-obsessed. I stick with Strawberry and the Cookies & Cream, which is chocolatey. Cleanse the palate with plain Tart. Yogurtland is consistent and, for the most part, reliably good. This shop's sort of tiny inside; no desire to hang out, take-away's easiest. No complaints about service, plus it's convenient to anyone residing around or passing through the Westchase area of Houston. Y-land in H-town yeaay. read more

This is my favorite frozen yogurt place in Houston. It's too bad the one on Westheimer and Fountainview closed. I happened to be driving down Westheimer and saw this location. I saw they have happy hour, 20 percent off from 3 to 5 p.m. on weekdays. I like their flavors. They don't taste artificial like others I've tried at other shops. They even have chocolate ice cream in one of their dispensers. At one point, in the old Yogurtland, they had guava. I saw Alfonso mango tart on this trip but had already poured enough yogurt on my cup. I hope a Yogurtland opens up again closer to my house. I'd be a regular customer, especially during happy hour. read more

Thanks to Yogurtland Real Rewards coz members get 8oz froyo today. Stopped by around 4:45 pm and there was one customer inside. There's a sign posted on the door where face covering is required. We sanitized hands and wore gloves. Proceeded to get froyo. I was looking forward to trying the orange peach ice cream. Everything was cleaned, a couple of the flavors were low (lights were on) as they appeared to be liquidy. Good variety of toppings. Checkout was easy. There was a family of 3 with 2 young kids that came in when we were almost done getting the froyo. There was only one attendent as the cashier so it is hard to enforce the 6 ft social distancing while in store. I guess they're doing the best they can. I love the smell of the store. So fruity. Inalways come to Yogurtland whenever Red Mango is too far or I'm craving pistachio flavor. The place is clean and the staff are nice, but I noticed they are always running out of yogurt mix. Sometimes the yogurt come out too soft(liquidy). read more

Update: the owner's reply to my review is a desperate ploy to try and discredit MY experience. All they needed to do was apologize and all of this would have been avoided. Instead you can see how they chose to handle the situation, by creating a false narrative to try and take the light off the situation at hand. For clarification...there were ABSOLUTELY at least 3 or 4 children in the store as well as 2 or 3 adults. So much for social distancing. Also, the children were 100 percent touching the toppings with their bare hands. I SAW WHAT I SAW! #2020vision. But since the owners want to lie to cover up an accurate, negative review, I will let them deal with the health department, who I will file a complaint with later today. If you go to HDScores you can see they have negative scores against them from the health department. So maybe the health department is making up their story as well. I would not take the risk of eating at this unsanitary establishment. Unless you want to risk getting sick. Plus, why would you support such awful owners. There are plenty of other small businesses around that you could support and would APPRECIATE your business. Secondly, the manager did NOT try to explain anything. She didn't even try to rectify the situation. She told me to call the owner the next day. After she interrupted the entire conversation. Let me be clear...no apology was given. She was very condescending. So instead of pointing fault at your customers, why don't you work on training your staff on customer service. There were kids running all over the place touching ALL the toppings with their bare hands and breathing all over them. The girl behind the counter clearly had absolutely no control over what was going on. She looked at me and pointed to the door as she mumbled something. I couldn't understand her and she again pointed to the door and this time I heard her and she told me to leave. Dumbfounded, I left and called and asked to speak to a manager. After seeing the kids touching all the toppings with their bare hands, I had no problem leaving. I tried to tell the manager what happened, but she wouldn't let me get a word in and interrupted me every time I tried to speak. Knowing what happened was wrong, she kept trying to defend the employee. I asked why someone would be told to leave. I figured maybe they were temporarily closing to change out all the contaminated toppings the kids were touching. You know seeing how we are in a pandemic. The manager said if someone wasn't wearing a mask they would be asked to leave. Well that wasn't it because that large black thing that covered half of my face, yea, that's called a mask. She then said that maybe she was telling me to put on sanitizer. Um yea....that wasn't it either. I asked the manager for the corporate number and she said she didn't know it. I then asked her for the employee's name and she said she wasn't sure and she thinks it's Kimberly. Um...how does the manager not know her employees names? Maybe that's why the employees are allowed to run amuck. The manager didn't even attempt to solve the problem. She told me to call back and talk to the owner in the morning. Anyway, I went to Pinkberry, which was what I really wanted anyway. I would avoid this place at all cost. Drive down the road to Pinkberry. The staff there is nice and it is more sanitary,  as there aren't kids touching all the toppings and breathing and hacking all over them. Finally a Yogurtland that's easy to get to (for me) and close to where I live and where I work. Came here at night for BOGO free for National Ice Cream Day. Yes I came to two locations in one day for this deal. I wasn't super impressed with the location or venue as I had hoped. It was dirty, loud, toppings were either empty or messy, and the line was super long and moved slowly even with two cashiers. My dad has never had froyo before since he's not a yogurt person but for a good deal like this one, he was willing to try. He enjoyed the vanilla and strawberry but wasn't a huge fan of the tart. I am a tart only kind of person but decided to venture out and get a few other flavors - raspberry sorbet, hazelnut, strawberry, and cookies and cream. I regretted it afterwards. Too sweet. Some of the fruit toppings were still a little frozen so it wasn't pleasant to bite and chew on but for the deal I'd say it was an okay experience. Maybe it'll be better on a normal day. read more

Today was family day, even with the ugly day it was. Me and my little brother w my niece came to get her some chocolate yogurt. It's her favorite. The only reason this location gets one star is because the froyo is pretty good. I can't give them a higher rating due to the rude, incompetent employees. I have always used the Yogurtland app to earn rewards and pay across several locations including this one. This time the brick wall employee said it was only for rewards. I asked how I pay through the app if not the button that says "Scan and Pay." A cyclical conversation continued in which she and a co-worker refused to believe that the app was used to pay despite the clearly labeled button and my balance. This is the first time I've been met with such incompetence and rudeness when trying to pay for a product. I'm not sure if this is the result of them not caring about their jobs or a lack of training. Regardless, I won't be returning to this location. read more

Whenever I'm craving something sweet, I love going to Yogurtland. This location is always clean and cold -- perfect for this Houston heat. It is a small building, but it is usually never full, so no need to worry about seating. It's a simple set-up; you pick your yogurt flavor(s), and then your toppings. I always go with the original/plain yogurt flavor; it's a bit tart, with the perfect amount of sweetness. For toppings, there's a wide variety, which include: fruits (strawberries, kiwis, watermelon, etc), granola, nuts, sweets/candies, and things you can sprinkle on like coconut shavings, almonds, and syrups. I don't usually put too many toppings; I usually put a couple of strawberries, kiwis, and coconut shavings. The price depends on the weight of your yogurt; for my boyfriend and I, we spent a total of around $8. They are not following any COVID protocols. No social distancing. The staff is rude and very unpleasant. This store is very unsanitary. They use spoons in the toppings that people use and then put back in toppings. So that dirty spoon someone just touched is now sitting in the toppings contaminating them. There were children getting toppings with their bare hands. I was so grossed out I left. The Yogurtland in Memorial City Mall is much cleaner. Stopped here for the first time on a Sunday evening. I got the pumpkin spice coffee flavor. It's the perfect fall flavor! It tasted very good. They have some pretty good flavors and various sizes to choose from, but their selection was a bit limited. The cost is reasonable and the customer service was good. I used two come here three times a week. But I got tired of seeing the same to homeless people taking up all the chairs outside. And they would allow them to get samples and get water without buying anything. It's a sanitary issue when I see the same homeless man eating food out of the trash can outside then going inside their facility and touching the water and all the samples when his pants are half down. The staff said "anyone is allowed to get free samples even if they don't buy anything". So I personally won't be going there anymore. Not when I see the same two homeless people every single time I go. they are always sitting on their chairs outside or sitting inside. Touching all the things. I've even seen the homeless lady grab the condiments when the lady went to the back who worked there. I brought this to their attention and said this is a sanitary issue and she was stealing. But they did not care. Definitely not the cleanest place. It's a great and convenient location for me and I've tried to contact the manager and left a message but never got a response back. I don't recommend this place anymore. This isn't a place to bring children either. The homeless couple are always screaming at each other and fighting in Spanish. It's really disturbing and not safe when there are children and families around. read more
