A classic that I have been going to since a kid for a sweet treat. This location always has low foot traffic, but great customer service. The establishment was clean and orderly. I always order a coffee/caramel ice cream mix with walnuts and it was amazing as always. read more

I went there on 07/16/2026 for the first time and I asked about a sobert that contains soy. When I asked about the product the server said "I don't know what's in it, I don't make the ice cream" in a disrespectful manner. That was so unprofessional! How do you work at a place and don't know about the items being sold? The sobert itself was good but the service was terrible. read more

Marble Slab Creamery - the front of the building - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Houston, Texas

Marble Slab Regular Whiskey Flavored Majestic Milkshake Price: $14.06 How many people do you know can say they own a Marble Slab mason jar? Taste: Whiskey was the only flavor offered at this location, so why not give it a try. It was not half bad. The heath pieces really made it come together too. I love caramel popcorn, so dipping that in whipped cream was a real treat. The donut pop was really marshmallow covered in chocolate that I didn't care for. A snickers bar would of been a better addition. Consistency: I was worried about the blend because it took a while to put together and the milkshake sat in the blended for some time. After the first sip I was convinced that marble slab couldn't turn out a decent milkshake, but I continued to sip and the blend wasn't half bad. Not a lot of resistance, but better than my previous milkshakes. Appearance: Being able to watch the creation of this milkshake was a special treat. The drizzling of the caramel around the jar, the correct usage of whipped cream to hold heath bar pieces, and the toppings were a great touch. It looked like it tasted and I was very pleased by this. Quality of Service: I went to one marble slab and they did not have any ice cream. With recent power outages this is expected, so I didn't mind driving to another one. When I came to the second location, my order was taken immediately and they started work ok crafting my milkshake. Overall Rating: 3 Shakes read more

2 pints of ice cream with a delivery of 1 mile $43 y'all should be ashamed of yourselves

Well, if you've been to a marble slab, then you pretty much know how it works. You wait in line, you figure out what you want: whether its' something off the menu that they'll mix for you, or if it's just a scoop or two of ice cream of your own choosing. I've been to this location A LOT (I admit I have a small case.... ok FINE! a BIG CASE of sweet tooth!) and every time I go, I've never had an issue with the ice cream, or cake, or the staffs not speaking much English. They ALWAYS get my orders right. But then again, it's kind of hard to screw up an ice cream order when you just point to the wall and say "I'd like a small cookie dough drizzle" or, "small vanilla", or even pointing at a cake and say, "one cake". Anyway, the point is... I love Marble Slab. This location is the closest to me so I come to this one a lot and I get great service and great ice cream. But in general, I've never had any issue at any marble slab (maybe until one location proves me wrong). And don't forget to get your stamp card!!! Marble Slab is good. But FREE Marble Slab is better! read more

They offer samples at the front and have a variety of sizes, cups, cones, and combinations. I got the banana and it tasted pretty authentic and even had bits of banana in it. The small was $5 and was one scoop. That's just highway robbery. An ideal price for that small cup would be $3...but that's what I get for coming here instead of buying a carton. read more

Rude staff from the minute we walked in. Impatient when we were trying to decide what flavor to pick. Also, staff kicked us out before we could finish our ice cream. I will never visit this location again. Also online it says it closes at 10p on Sundays but once we were at the location, closing hours said 9p on Sundays. Unprofessional to not keep the hours updated. Ice cream shop FAIL. read more

after celebrating my sister's graduation we decided to get dessert as soon as we walked in manager was rushing us very offputting acting like she didn't want us there. I felt very unwelcome. She asked us what we wanted even though the other person was helping someone else and she was all the way on the other side. She was charging me for extra things I shouldn't have been charged and she wasn't mixing the ice cream well. She was also sighing very loudly wasn't a peaceful night. read more

Excellent ice cream, excellent service. Wonderful! For the "kid in all of us" Waffle cones too!

Marble Slab is my most favorite ice-cream chain ever. I love it! I'm not that much of a fan of THIS location because the guys who work here are very disengaged. like...you can tell it is just a job for them...even if it's NOT...they absolutely give the impression that it is. I come to this location when I just really want some icecream because it's super close to my house...but...i do try to go to other locations firsrt! read more

The menu and combinations were endless and the ideas in which they advertise is sweet! The prices for what I want in ice cream are on the expensive side but it was good. The service was quick. They don't verbally offer the customization options as I didn't know that AJ could choose a different ice cream for my hot fudge brownie snack. It was made clear that I wanted to make my own combination was given otherwise. Maybe that was by accident. The place was clean which is a top thing for me. I've seen better serving sizes at other similar establishments but same or lower price. Good experience though read more

Great service, Shirin is such a nice lady and works so hard! Definitely a great environment!

Marble Slab has some tasty ice cream. Creamy yogurt and sugar free treats. Their huge cookies aren't bad either. Waffle cone. Cups. Waffle cone in a cup. It ain't cheap ice cream. But once you start mixing in some of the extras you don't mind. Get some chocolate chips or cherries or crumbled up candy bars or sprinkles or...whatever looks good in your scoops. Usually there is 20 or so different flavors available. A free taste of any before you buy your serving. The counter folks are always friendly and it doesn't take long to get in and order and get out. Parking is usually easy breezy. It never seems to be too busy but there always seems to be a few folks enjoying their sweet treats at the little chairs outside. If they had more room inside to sit it would be great! read more

10 percent off with check in! LAWWWWWWWWD! I could literally eat this all day errrrday for the rest of my life. First of all, when you walk in they greet you warmly and take your order ASAP, they dont even play- they get right down to giving you the best ice cream of your life. They have a large variety of different ice creams on one side, then on the other side they have a topping bar. So you pick your ice cream and they mix up the toppings at the bar, then on to a cone or cup, your pick. They have a wide variety of cones and cup sizes to choose from.Pretty extensive menu for an ice cream place. We got the sweet cream, with Oreos. Which is basically Cookies and Cream on crack. It is extremely tasty, tons of flavour and the texture and quality of ice cream is unbeatable. SO GOOD. Beats all your common ice cream parlours. You gotta hit this place up! Its a franchise, so Im assuming it would be safe to try out other locations too. read more

Ice cream was fine, but as I was getting my toppings added- the employee told me I was not allowed to have more then two toppings per the manager. I informed her that per marble slabs advertising, I am supposed to be able to add as many as I would like and if this was there policy, she could keep her ice cream and that I would never come there again. She giggle and told me " well today you can have as many as you would like". Never going back to this location. read more

Had a negative experience today. First of all, I noticed that the staff gave me a really small portion, and for the amount that they charge per scoop I really thought that was unacceptable. Secondly, whoever was ringing up my order clearly could not count. I kept trying to tell her I was paying for three cones. I even spoke to her in Spanish because I could see that she was speaking Spanish to her colleagues. And yet somehow she kept trying to charge me for four cones. Just pay close attention when you order here because these guys are going to shortchange you. read more

Had a waffle cup peanut butter chocolate ice cream. I'm disappointed with the ice cream. I could only taste peanut butter cups in my first 2 spoons and after which, I could only taste chocolate. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Rocio was very rude to me after telling her about my ice cream tasting a little freezer burnt and then told me throw my ice cream away charged me for another ice cream which was different flavor due to it tasting freezer burnt I didn't want the same flavor or toppings. I literally had just walked to the car with the icecream, I hadn't sampled it before paying or after paying until I got into my car and returned saying I wanted a new icecream with two toppings just as I had but different but she refused. She also refused to give me the general managers number and told me she was the manager of the store .. To hire Rocio as a manger and she gives that kind of service. Really upsets me because at the end I walked out empty handed. They will never get my service again! read more

Me and my friend came to get ice cream at this marble slab and the worker who helped us, Rocio, had an attitude with us as soon as we walked in... Delicious ice cream! They even have a 10% off check in offer. The line was pretty long and the people behind the counter were moving kind of slow, but I was satisfied when it was all said and done. They have a plethora of flavors to suit everyone. From red velvet to sweet cream to cinnamon vanilla. Regardless you can't go wrong at this place. I'm pretty boring with my ice cream though as I don't like getting mix ins. I got mango and sweet cream boring style hahaha. Their cookies are to f*cking die for as well. I was so happy to find a good ice cream parlor out in Houston Texas. Nice, clean. The staff was really friendly. They have a wide variety of ice cream and even a more variety of toppings. That was my problem: I was trying to name some regular toppings from my head without looking at the toppings they had. This ice cream made my incredibly sad. I got the vanilla cinnamon, which was okay. I don't recommend getting a big thing of it. The staff hardly spoke at all. The menu board was confusing as to what would cost me what, what was an upgrade, and if a mixin was included. Who designs a menu board like that? The interior was nothing to write home about. We sat on the bench outside and watched Westheimer traffic. All in all, we spent $12 on a very mediocre experience, which reminded me why I haven't been to a Marble Slab in probably 10 years. With the help of this Yelp review, I'll remember not to go for another 10 years. There's a Kroger down the way with waffle cones and Blue Bell. I recommend that. read more

Just went to get some ice cream at this location and even though they have an open sign is hard to tell if they are really open or closed I open the door noticing than no one is at the counter ask a couple of times Hello hello anybody here when finally an employee appeared from the back with his AirPods on not even bothering removing them. Took my order wrapped the cone with a napkin made the order incorrectly, then proceeded to charge me and that's when he put the gloves on to be able to touch the screen to make the payment transaction, asked for a spoon he couldn't find any saying than since mainly orders are to go they don't have spoons. This is my first time writing a review. I have never been so mad at the point that I have to give a negative review. If I can give this place a zero star I would definitely will do it because of the way their customer service. Im guessing the person that helped me name Rocio because that's what it said on the receipt. I came in today to buy a ice cream birthday cake. I ask if they have strawberry shortcake. She told me yes, but then when she check the fridge there's was none. And I was ok with it since I didn't call in advance. So I picked out a strawberry ice cream cake. She checked me out with the grumpy face, didn't bother to ask if I need to write a Happy Birthday on my cake or not. So I ask her if she can write a happy birthday on it, she didn't even let me finish what I was saying. Brought the cake in and came out 2 minutes later. I look at it and thinking in my head... uh !!! The writing was soooo ugly.. but I didnt want to give her a hard time, I ask her nicely.. uhm.. can you please put my friend's name on it also? Its only 4 letters. She then replied me with a annoying tone "i have a customer ordered a cake and im working on it right now, if you want to wait until i finish it then can can write it for you" ... in my head i was like uhhhh what is that supposes to mean?? Its take you less than 1 minute to write the name!! How hard was that? I just grab the cake and walk out the door!!! And that will be my first and last time going to that location. read more

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Well, at least shout a little. Marble Slab Creamery has mostly ice cream, but also has some cookies, milkshakes, brownies, and ice cream cakes. This location is in the Carillion shopping center. They have plenty of outside and inside seating. The outside seating is shaded, so a perfect place to enjoy an ice cream cone. Marble slab has a variety of flavors, but they were only just ok (I tasted 4 or 5). They have a bunch of different things you can mix into your ice cream too. They have waffles cones and waffle bowls as well as the regular bowls and cones. The guys working there were efficient. Overall, it was a nice Sunday snack, but I wouldn't make a special trip. I prefer the places where I get to put in the different toppings so I can control the ratio of ice cream or yogurt to topping. It was about $8.50 for 2 people each with ice cream and one mix in (one in a waffle cone and the other in a waffle bowl). read more

Excellent little ice cream shop. I was once told that this is the original corporate store for the franchise. They generally greet you quickly upon walking in, and they always have at least 20 different flavors and a dozen different mix-ins on hand. Their prices have started to get a bit steep, but there's nothing like their ice cream with mix-ins. I'm partial to the coffee ice cream with a chocolaty mix-in, but their sweet cream is also excellent. read more
