No one answered the phone but I left a message which was then promptly returned a half hour later by a gentleman named Ray?, who gave me patient and courteous attention to describe my problem with a new LG OLED TV. He penned me in right away today for a visit by his technician and when Ricardo arrived, he was polite, professional and thorough in his diagnostic exam of the TV. He interfaced by email and other communications directly to LG , and received a phone call shortly after from them and they spoke at a high tech level about the problem. Ricardo then quoted us different prices for several solution paths. We are most pleased with Day One Services. My wife and I are confident that we will make an informed decision based on their outstanding customer service and advice we requested during the visit.

We talked for awhile, got the problem diagnosed, the guy at the desk called the owner to confirm the part being ordered, great. Get to a week later, I call back about the part because I need it replaced. "Oh, $, we never got that ordered. I was mowing my lawn when he called me and..." Oh boy. Not good. Let's review: * Immediately refunded my deposit * Continued investigation and found they DID get it ordered * Did not demand a new deposit * Continued tracking the package, even though it seemed to be lost - well beyond the expected Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe. * It arrived while I was at work, really didn't have time to fix it. But he called me up to let me know and we worked out a time - he personally promised to set that time aside for me. I showed up, he confirmed it was the right screen, we went through some tests - it was glitchy - then he rebooted and it seems to have unglitched. As I now touch my screen to confirm, Device Surgeon got it done. They fought the mail, they put the customer first, and navigated a tricky situation successfully. Instead, they charged me $150 to install a new hard drive with more memory and failed to install the new OS. When I ran the update at home, I was locked out of one of my profiles. When I brought the MAC back, the man said, "What did you do?" and acted like I did something wrong for installing the newest update. I told him he didn't do what I had asked him to do. He fixed it, after mansplaining to me, and then told me he should charge me but was going to give me a break. The DVDs were going to cost $300 to transfer to the thumb drive, so I said I'd wait. He had told me it would cost me $80 to try and get any data off of the Dell laptop. So I left the computer there and said I'd comeback for the hard drive. To be fair, this was in April. I went in today to try and get the hard drive, and at first, they said they didn't know what I was talking about, and then tried to insist they had given it to me (they didn't) and then finally just said, "Well, we don't have it". The Amp went IN to their service with the issue of "not loud enough, and it should be louder as it's 50 watts" The Amp came BACK sounding like a sputtering MESS of noise and "splat" tone. I got tired of arguing with them.....they have no professionalism, and no pride in their work. I can only assume their backline service and rentals is where all their money comes from as I can't imagine they have repeat customers on the repair side. i don't know what the hell this person did to my amp....but they certainly insisted on getting paid to have done it.
