I was unsure about how the process works and was afraid of getting ripped off about something I know very little, but they walked me through the whole process on the phone and explained their very detailed billing and additional work approval system. It was explained which components and cables I needed to bring and those that could stay at home so the process could be 100% thorough. When I brought my equipment to the shop, they recorded very detailed notes for the technician who would work on my machine, and had me approve them. I received a call from the tech after he had discovered the problem and was provided with solutions and also offered some additional options. When I went to pick up the equipment, everything was ready and I even received a refund from the deposit I had originally provided. My only regret is I did bring my computer to them sooner. I readily left the laptop with him and prayed. On the 6th day of Cristian working on my computer, I checked in and he successfully recovered the data!!! I was in SHOCK... I went in and paid the $200 plus tipped him an extra 20. He even held the data on an external hard drive so I could have my laptop restored at the Apple store, then brought it back to him and he did the work of transferring the backup back onto my laptop FREE of charge.
