Empanada Combo Rice and Beans Agua Fresca
    Angela M.

Been wanting to try this local spot for a while & happy I did! Placed an order online, order was pretty much ready to go when I got there - everything was super fresh & hot! The place was cute inside but we placed an order to go, so wasn't in there for long. Two couples were sitting at tables and eating. Had a foosball table which is always fun. There were 3 workers who were super busy making all of the orders fresh but they were attentive as soon as I walked in. I got the 2 empanada combo with rice & beans. The rice & beans were amazing - so flavorful. I got the chimichurri & pork empanada which was super tasty & the spinach artichoke one, which had a creamy filling on the inside. The empanada crust was so good too! Wish I ordered some salsa or something to dip in, but next time! My partner got the chicharron with rice (without beans) - incredible! I had a bite and immediately wanted more. Super flavorful, omg. Came with half an avocado too! A slice of lime would work so well to cut the heaviness too. We also got a fresca - a strawberry mango to split. Ordered a large & it was huge! Was refreshing but a little too sweet for me, topped it off with some seltzer and it was delightful. Will definitely be back! Looking forward to trying more.

Absolutely delicious!!! And gluten free!!! I had the loaded potato and spinach artichoke empanada combo. Side of tostones. Nice and crispy. Perfect size. Delicious dipping sauces. Go and check them out!

Ordered for poolside get together with my family, we got five different empanadas and also got the Chicharrón and tostones! Each empanadas had a lot of filling inside and everybody was happy with the selection! Will definitely be back!

Ordered from here twice this week. Great food!I am obsessed with the yuca and cheese balls! One of best ways I have ever had yuca. The plantains are also very good! The salad, rice bowls, empanadas and stuffed arepas were all good. And I love the sauces! Will definitely order again and try more stuff! Also love that most of it is gluten free.

Amazing traditional empanadas probably one of the best I've had a Long Island. The beef by far is my favorite.

Gone are the days of the Brickhouse brewery. Now you have a super classy joint that resides right in Patchogue. And she was right. The food is fresh and delicious and featured in a very well thought out menu. Julien was a pleasure to work with during the preparations. Allowing access to the space during not busy times to help us plan our decorations. Day of it was all hands on deck. Julien, Anna and our amazing bartender with the handlebar mustache exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible. My sister had the best time and that's all that matters. Overall - 3/5 - did just about everything right except the food. Service was great. Waitress was very friendly, gave recommendations, and fun to have around. Inside of restaurant had a cool vibe and was nice to be in. Rooftop was awesome and the highlight. Unfortunately the food fell short. For the price, it was pretty lacking in taste. Portion were ok but the food was all pretty lackluster. Mussels had curry in them but could barely taste it. Tacos were pretty bland. The drinks barely had alcohol in them? They tasted fine but had 2 drinks and barely felt a thing (I know my tolerance). Unfortunate on the food when it came to here. Likely would not return. On top of that, my damn car decided to up and die, so I've been bleeding money on Ubers just to get to and from work. I even had to go into work on my day off just to sit around waiting for the tow truck so they could junk it. Love that for me. After I handled business with the junkers, I said eff it and headed to Whiskey Neat. I was starving--no breakfast, running on fumes--and since my job's in Patchogue, I figured I'd finally try them for lunch. First of all... happy hour on a Saturday from 12-6?! Uhhh hello?? In my Angelina from Jersey Shore voice. And if you pay cash, you get the discount. Say less. They've got a fabulous small plates menu. I started with the French onion soup--ooey gooey mozzarella, cheese pull was undefeated. Soup was delicious too. I haven't had French onion in ages and it really hit. Then I had the pulled pork slider, which was really good, but BABY... those short rib croquettes? To. Die. For. I also had to get my classic deviled eggs. A little heavy-handed on the paprika, but still solid. Drinks were half off, so of course I indulged. Started with an espresso martini because I needed something to jumpstart my day. Then I had a French martini because duh--I'm a French girl ‍. That one was good. Finished with my classic cosmo. Not gonna lie, I've had better, but it did what it needed to do and helped me forget my troubles for a couple hours. Also great playlist of music. I got there and they were playing Ska. Love me some Reel Big Fish and No Doubt. Mixed with some Motown and Bob Marley. Made me remember the good old days.

I've been to Main Street Patchogue a few times before and I'm always amazed at how it's now like Huntington, with tons of eateries, bars and places to hear live music. It was a busy late Spring Friday night and my cousin told me if we were there just two weeks later (ie, post Memorial Day), there would have been lines to get in anywhere. So make resos! I made one easily earlier that day and when we arrived around 7:30, it was not packed, but it is pretty loud in there even half full. Our waiter, Jonathan, expertly took such great care of us from start to finish, even taking my father's dad jokes in stride. There's a solid cocktail menu, but I had a couple glasses of a better-than-decent prosecco. My cousin loved his espresso martini. For food, count on a couple respectable vegan entrees and I went with the Japanese eggplant with cashew ricotta. The eggplant is delicious, slightly sweet with a creamy rather than chewy (thank god) texture. The cashew ricotta is also tasty, but I do think it needed to be blended a bit more to remove the slightly grainy texture (the cashews might have needed more soaking). My father loved his French onion soup and pastrami sandwich. Separate paragraph for the fries. They deserve it. I'm glad we ordered these to share- it's an enormous platter of them. I appreciated that they were salted perfectly. I appreciate restaurants that can make satisfy a variety of preferences and dietary restrictions. The vibe here is festive and vibrant and a great choice for groups and families.
