BEWARE SHARP FIBER GLASS FOUND IN FOOD I bought dinner tonight and after finding a SHARP PIECE OF FIBER GLASS I called in to address the concern. Spoke to the lady pictured here who also took my order and she dismissed me very rudely and hung up. Came in with both orange chicken plates I ordered and asked NOT for a refund but a remake on both since I was worried ( I'm feeding children at home). She proceeded to then only give me half of what I ordered and then began yelling at me and my mom when we were calmly trying to tell her that it was a safety issue. As someone who works in food I understand that the customers needs and concerns are what help the company / business. She kept talking over us, and I calmly told her to not worry that I would just be reporting to the Dep. of Public Health Services & Food if she didn't want to hear what I had to say that she then became very hostile and altered her voice even more. She then said she did not care and had the right to treat her customers however she wanted. Both my mom and I attempted to talk to her with respect until she started accusing my mom of false things and asking for discounts when IN TRUTH the only time we come is to pick up phone orders when Im in town visiting my moms. Chefs were nice and understanding but seemed intimidated of her when they came to the front to talk as she started talking over us when speaking to them and in their face... LITERALLY) even the other server kept her face down in the back the whole time. Moral of the story she (supposed owner "Heidy") did not accept her business's error and issue and responded with anger and hostility towards the customer (Myself and mother) . I come here all the time when in town. Not the most budget friendly place but if the foods great I WILL pay. Didn't ask for a refund. Just wanted a REMAKE for a peace of mind and safety concerns. Resulted in getting yelled at and disrespected and accused of a lie by unprofessionally. Sad, unprofessional, and pathetic. Be careful if you eat here. Better safe than sorry read more

I'm new to this area and was craving for Thai food and the bf recommended this place since it was close to us and he's had it in the past. I ordered the beef drunken noodles and he ordered pad see ew. I thought something was off the first bite I took. The flavors were just not there. I get drunken noodles for the strong Thai basil and spices, this one straight up tasted like overcooked soy sauce. My beef was cooked to death as well. Wanted my first Thai food experience in South Bay to set the bar but is left highly disappointed. Hidden little Thai restaurant in the area but AMAZING food! Has both indoor and outdoor seating though not very much on both so if it's busy expect a wait. Overall the food was very good and flavorful. The spicy was definitely a 5 star! There menu goes mild.medium.spicy. So spicy is a 5* medium a 3* and mild a 1*. Portions are large and enough to share between 2 people with a side of rice. They also have a extensive lunch menu with prices 10 bucks or less. Dinner is 10-15 bucks with seafood being the highest. Parking is a but odd as the spots are double spots so park across the street if you don't want to get blocked in. read more

Three Spice Thai makes a pretty fantastic BBQ chicken plate as well as chicken pad thai. We're also partial to the creamy panang curry. Although the prices aren't cheap, the portions are pretty generous, which means you may get a plate of leftovers to take home. Service has generally been attentive for dine-in, which is open now both indoors and on their outdoor patio. There's a firepit for additional ambience, although I find that the restaurant seems particularly popular for takeout. As a result, I've never found it to be busy for dine-in. They take credit cards and have free parking in a handful of spaces outside. read more

I love this place.... BUT.... I've noticed a staff change. And believe me, this new staff is very nnice. My only complaint it, the food has been rushed, and that taste has not been consistent... The food still tastes great, but it seems as if the cook rushes a bit just to get our food out, and I think that causes the inconsistencies. I will continue to go here, but just some friendly customer advice for the cook... Take your time, don't rush please. read more

Very small location with limited parking, however the lunch specials at around $10 are filling and delicious. The staff is very friendly and the food comes quickly. Ordered the chicken and eggplant more than enough for one person and almost enough to share if you are a lighter eater or feel like sharing family style. FOOD : Lunch specials I enjoy are listed below. Green Curry with Chicken or Tofu (I order this the most, love CURRYYY) Pad Kee Maow with Chicken Pad Thai ~They all come with a side salad and a cheese wonton (yum). Appetizer: Veggie egg rolls comes hot and crispy. IMO, they're pretty basic, but it hits the spot. Service: Hit or miss. Parking: Street or tandem parking. Not too bad around weekdays. I walked into this small place not knowing what to expect. They had a cute little outdoor seating area and the staff was friendly. I ordered the tofu larb and although i would prefer for the tofu not to be in cubes but to resemble actual larb (perhaps minced pieces of tofu). I thoroughly enjoyed my salad. I give it a 4/5. I also ordered some rice noodles( I want to say it was the Pad Kee Maow) w/ tofu. The noodles and the flavor were spot on but my gripe is that it was very oily. Especially the tofu...fried chicken oily if I may add. I give it a 4/5. I would definitely come back and try other dishes though. This little place is located on Western & 166th street in Gardena. It's a cute little spot. Definitely cute for small gatherings. There's very little parking so you may have to park on the street when it's busy. The people are friendly but the service isn't the greatest. But the place is very clean. Cream cheese wonton! This place is TINY! I've driven past many many times and been meaning to try it out since it's gotten pretty good reviews and I really liked the appearance of it's exterior, nice and modern. They really deceive you because they make it look big from the outside, and you walk in and it's pretty much like a hallway for the dining area, nonetheless didn't stop me from enjoying myself. :) My GO TO pick is the cream cheese wonton! Yum! I have been on a craving streak for some yummy crunchy wontons and this place didn't disappoint :) the cheese is perfect consistency and the flavoring is great and nice crunch to the wonton itself, it was a bit greasy but it was delicious :) I also ordered the spicy noodles and pad Thai and it wasn't bad, not the best ive had but good flavor :) I'll give this place another try :) Happy eats, loves! ^_^ read more

Yay! Finally, a Thai restaurant opens in Gardena, down the street from my house!!! I think the owners are a local husband and wife couple, and they seem very friendly and excited in their first week of opening. The food is standard Thai food--tastes very good--not overly spicy (a la Chandara), but not under-spiced either (a la some places in the OC I've been to). We had the roasted pork with sticky rice...that rice is fab...it IS sticky, and unusual to see on the menu, so had to have it. We also had the roasted beef BBQ (I think that's the name) with garlic rice, which was, again, outstanding. I don't know why I'm so fixated on the rice, but it was great. Also had the Tom Yum soup with chicken, which was good. The egg rolls, or spring rolls, I think, were okay...loved the sauce, but not a fan of rolls, usually, so they were more for my husband to eat. So four stars for the food. Now, the reason that five stars are not being given...these, hopefully, are just minor details that will be addressed in coming days once the kitchen gets settled: it was FREEZING cold inside. This restaurant used to be a takeout shop, and they had one little slat of windows open on a rainy night...SO COLD we had to eat with our jackets on. Second, no serving utensils given. They gave us knives for the meat, but no spoons for the rice or soup. Also, the atmosphere...we brought our kids with us (mistake), and it really is not designed for kids. There was jazz playing in the background, and the tables are designed more for adults (I was so afraid my kids were going to ruin their brand new furniture!!!), without tablecloths. Overall, the pluses outweigh the minuses, and I will definitely go back again, but maybe for takeout instead. read more

Came here on a Sunday to enjoy a meal with my family and I ordered the pineapple fried rice in which it stated it came with a combination of chicken and shrimp however when I got my order it had dozens of pieces of chicken in it and two pieces of shrimp . To make sure it was two pieces i used the spoon the platter came with to double check my plates inventory of shrimp . once I confirmed it had two shrimps i notified my server who stated i couldn't swap it out for shrimp fried rice . I was upset and asked To speak to a manager who came with a sarcastic demeanor and never once apologized about the misunderstanding the menu suggest , but instead told me that they have been here 11 years ( smiling actually ) . Which was after i told her that's not how to handle customer service . I wont be returning because of how that was handled i could care less about the amount of years you've been lying about a combination of chicken and shrimp . This place is probably my favorite thai place in my neighborhood. The people here are super nice. I like how they have ultimate pad thai (even tho I don't care for it) for people that was double the portions. I wish they had that for padkeemao or pad see ew. I usually get tomka noodle, and it's so delicious! I love the fact they put chicken and shrimp in it. And it's a generous portion my mouth waters just thinking about it. I've never seen a thai place offer noodles with their soup. You usually have to order a side of noodle with the pot. Definitely when in the South Bay come to this cute little spot. I've been coming to this place since it first opened. Parking: This place is on the corner of 164th and Western, so parking is not the greatest there. There is a tiny lot with maybe 3-4 spots, and there is tandem parking next to that, stretching another 4 spots. If you go later in the day, you can park by the dentist's office next door. If youre lucky, you can also find street parking. Food: I have tried a lot of the more popular dishes, including, but not limited to, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Pad Kee Mao, Eggplant & Sweet Basil, Chinese Broccoli and Cashew Nut, Green Curry, Tom Kha Soup, Crispy Golden Triangles, and the Thai Iced Tea. Clearly, I am not a big seafood fan (sorry!) All of the dishes I have tried I have liked. My favorite is probably the Pad Kee Mao (spicy drunken noodles) and the Eggplant and Sweet Basil. I usually order all my dishes with tofu (which is fried), but I have ordered some thing with chicken and beef as well. Quality: I do know that the quality is not super always consistent. There were times where my noodles or dishes were oiler than other times, but it is definitely better than some other thai places I've been to in Gardena. It's a bit further than the closest Thai place to my house, but well worth driving a little farther for better food. Service: I mostly do take out here due to the small parking lot, and small restaurant overall (5-6 closely set tables that seat 4 inside, 2-3 tables that seat 4 outside), but the handful of times I have eaten here it wasnt bad. I don't believe that you get any more food eating in or taking out. OVerall: 3.5 stars out of 5, but will round up to 4! read more
