My family and I to-goed from here for my aunt's birthday, and I think this is one of the best Thai places in the South Bay area (downtown LA is a bit of a different story, but that's for another day). We got a plethora of food including the pad thai, pad see ewe, pineapple fried rice, and the tom yum soup with shrimp. The portions were pretty good... not too large but not small by any means, and the price point for the food was really good. We also got a decent amount of modifications on some of the dishes, and the restaurant got every single one right... which is pretty novel these days. Because we had a larger order, we were told that the food would take around 20 minutes to prepare, but I'm pretty sure it was done faster than that which was also amazing. The food itself was pretty bomb... it was my first time trying tom yum soup and I couldn't shut up about how flavorful the soup was. We got a large, and I ended up eating almost all of it. The pad see ewe was really good as well, but I think it's pretty hard to mess up that dish. The pad thai was also very flavorful, with just enough tang and sweetness. My aunt is pretty picky about her Thai food, and she seemed to thoroughly enjoy all the food. I'll definitely be coming back here again (soon)! Definitely check it out if you can. read more

Been here many many moons ago (pre-pandemic)...we decided to give them another chance. Dined in. Service was too quick and the staff comes and leaves immediately back and forth with no rapport for future ongoing business with customers. Not much friendliness going on. Just comes and takes the order and drops it off. I guess I expected more from a mom and pop shop usually they attract more business by being nicer. Food was very expensive for the amount of food they give. The portion/amount was sOoo small (and I don't even eat a lot and thought it was skimpy). We ordered vegetarian with replacing all meat products with tofu. The pineapple fried rice really needs help--No personality whatsoever. Needs more ingredients..There was almost nothing in it but a few specs of things. The curry was also weak. Plain and not much going on. Parking is also horrible. There's quite a few more in the back alley but parking here sucks. My entire stay dining in, people had to keep moving their cars from blocking other cars and we had to wait for someone also to remove their car so we can leave. Parking is small and it's right on the side of the street. Probably won't be coming back unfortunately. Too expensive, too little food, not too friendly, bad parking. read more

Came through for a late (like 230pm late) lunch on a Saturday post errands. I remember liking it here the last time I came through (which was way back during my pre-Yelp era), but given the South Bay having plenty of choices for Thai cuisine, I just had to try a few of them before coming back. And they have angel wings now?! DOWN. Party of three, we were seated immediately since it was such an odd hour. It's definitely been upgraded since that last visit. Nice furniture and modernized décor. We all took our time scanning the menu and finally came down to the following: CRISPY GOLDEN TRIANGLE: The menu description started out with "marinated ground chicken" and I was sold. Most places have cream cheese wontons, but since they have it here with chicken, it was a GO. What we got, however, was mostly cream cheese filling. There really was nothing chicken about this app. Disappointing. My crew liked it. I didn't - mostly because it wasn't what it said it's supposed to be. BIRD OF PARADISE WING: A bit overdone to the point the outside had a hard crisp. Keeping this in mind, the chicken meat also ended up with somewhat of a hard texture. The stuffing was mediocre at best. I wasn't impressed with this either. Definitely had better. TOM KAH SOUP: This is my first run of this specific soup and me likey! The aroma of the lemongrass mixed with the taste of coconut milk was a great combo. Perfect level of spice and sour. Shrimp was cooked perfect. This I would recommend. TENDERING BEEF: Served on a bed of veggies and a side of rice, beef was marinated and cooked tender. The sauce wasn't too overpowering but a bit on the sweet side. Shiitake mushrooms? We got one small triangular piece (see attached photo.) I was really looking forward to it as I felt it could have lessened the sweetness of the sauce and added taste to the beef. [Insert sad face here.] FOOD: 2.5. SERVICE: 3. Not great, but not bad. VALUE: 2.5. I didn't feel it was worth it. PARKING: Private lot but can't fit more than 5 at most. Street parking also available. OVERALL: 2.75. The only thing that's gotten better is their décor. The food, sadly, isn't as good as I remember from the first time. I feel there are other (better) choices within a 3-5 mile radius, so unless someone twists my arm for a return visit, it might be a near impossibility for me to come back. read more

I can only speak for the Thai fried rice but it's definitely one of my favorites! So much flavor and just perfectly cooked! I like to add in broccoli as I do not eat meat. My sister got shrimp with broccoli and fell in love. Big, clean, flavorful shrimps. Will definitely be back! read more

On this day, I decided to have lunch at a local restaurant. Three Spice Thai Kitchen was my choice and I was NOT disappointed. I highly recommend the "Green Curry" It had tender pieces of eggplant, bamboo sprouts, bell peppers & sweet basil (add your choice of meat) in a delicious, creamy green curry sauce. Called in and ordered 2 orders of chicken pad see ew and pineapple fried rice, ready in 20 minutes, got there, paid and left. Order was ready, hot and bagged. The young guy taking the order over the phone was fast and very efficient. Great service under these pandemic situations, job well done. Parking stalls are limited but all in all not bad especially since its take out only now days. They clean their pens regularly so you don't have to worry about signing the receipts. Ordered for takeout and it was ready on time when we went to pick it up. The pineapple fried rice had a wonderful, unique flavor. Even though it looked like it was made with canned pineapple, it had lots of chicken and raisins and something that made it taste great. The stir fried tofu (as a meat choice in an entree) has rough skin and was a bit rubbery, but the flavor was fine. The pad soon sen (glass noodles) was plentiful. I had been to Bowl Thai before, so one of my co-workers knew I would not return. That place had 2 Star food, but 3 Star service. So she suggested we try Three Spice because they have more traditional dishes, as well as lunch specials. Its located on Western & Gardena in Gardena. I ordered something basic, green curry w/ chicken ($8.95). The lunch special includes a small salad (no pic) & rice. First of all, the curry wasn't really green from a traditional cilantro paste, nor was it aromatic like a really good Thai place like Thai Nakorn in GG. It contained perhaps "three" spices vs six or more. Nonetheless, it was mild as requested, and it contained eggplant & bamboo shoots: 3 Stars. My co-workers ordered pad thai w/ different proteins. The dishes looked OK, but idk if I would order them if I returned. Regarding the ambiance, there are tables of 2 & 4 inside and out. TS is not a good place for big parties. Likewise, the service was friendly, but not overly attentive. We didn't receive water refills til the end of the meal: Both 3 Stars. Three Spice deserves an equal amount of stars. I was very disappointed to say the least. Food was bland, cold and not cooked throughly! I ordered the teriyaki beef and fried fish... what a friggin joke!!! They took 3 frozen fish sticks put them in the fryer and cut them up. The beef was flavorless and of poor quality. The beef was cut into thin worm like strips. TSTK is the best! A wide variety of Thai foods. Great, friendly staff. I always go for the grilled pork special for lunch which includes a small salad, the pork is on a bed of perfectly warmed veggies carrots cabbage and an enticing & spicy dipping/salad dressing sauce, plus one Golden Triangle (see next comment).
