Cute space, but small. Service person wasn't terribly friendly and you cannot order food from their menu. You basically have to order from what is left in the case. I got the prosciutto sandwich but it didn't have any brie on it as it stated on their menu. The flan cake was dry. Since it is near the theatre, parking can be challenging.

What a cute bakery! They have a great location in the heart of downtown. The interior has a nice relaxing and calming vibe, with a small seating area available. There is a nice menu of fabulous baked goods, plus a few pizzettes and baguette sandwiches. The selection diminishes throughout the day, so if you want the best choice, go early. Despite our mid-day visit, we still had to take a minute to settle on our final selections: bombolones (donut with vanilla pastry cream) and nutella cornettos (croissant filled with Nutella and a hint of orange). Very good and most enjoyed! Service was friendly and efficient.

Incredible as always-the newest one for me is the eggplant galette with chili oil and it was INCREDIBLE. Please keep this forever! I'm totally blanking on the name but it was like a regular croissant but circular and super gooey and moist in the middle- just incredible. I'm literally blown away every time I'm here!

For this Santa, Three Bites Bakery definitely heads the "Nice" list. Shame on me for not trying it sooner. But closing here on the end of 2023, I would like to share a new to me favorite: the ube pandesal with cheese. I immediately ordered a dozen for a few days later to take and share with friends. Heads up: have you gotten coal the past few years because somehow you've ended up on the naughty list? Leave one of these gems out for Santa. Status change!!

Morning Baklava, Bombolini (Italian donut - the vanilla pudding inside was EXTREMELY delicious) and my fave: Sour Cream Coffee Cake!

I went to THREE BITES bakery earlier (999 Mt Vernon), and I regret that I haven't been there for a long time. The Sour Cream Coffee Cake was the bestest I've ever eaten. It doesn't look much but it's goooooood!!!!!! The owner is a Filipina-Italian, so the bakery itself is a bit mixed influence of EurAsia. It has BIKA (rice flour mixed with coconut milk and sugar), think of baked mochi. I didn't buy it, but the Coffee Cake, oh yessss!!!!! The not so good: the location, it's tucked between a rundown building, I highly suggest to bring another person, don't just go alone for safety. The person who assisted me earlier was friendly and pleasant, he introduced me to his favorite: Morning Baklava. It's the bomb!!!!! Veryyyy good. All of them! I would definitely return Perfectly made!!!!! Heavenly!

Visited this small cozy bakery again as there was barely anything left when I went around noon the other time. Was out running an errand early in the morning and decided to make a detour to be the first few customers so that I will be able to choose from the wide selection of pastry for the day. Ube pandesal with cheese- This is what attracted me to this shop as there's not much ube stuff in Columbus. It's like a soft bun with soft cheese in it. I could not really taste the ube thou, the cheese is more overpowering. Mushroom artichoke leek croissant- It's very flaky which is the way I like croissant to be! It's savory and my favorite by far. A perfect breakfast treat~ Seasonal cake- Tea cake with coffee buttercream and condensed milk. Was debating if I should try it as I'm not really a coffee lover but she said it was very savory and so I went for it. The coffee taste is not strong which is good for me. Even with sweetened condensed milk, the cake as a whole was not very sweet which is nice. They have other unique dessert that is worth trying too but you have to be early to get what you want!

Love that there's a Filipino-owned bakery in town now! We came on Sunday around 11. It wasn't busy but they had already sold out of things. My friend really wanted the ube pandesal with cheese. The person in front of us in line took the last one. LOL I had to try the Filipino items since it's also my heritage! I got biko, which is a sticky rice cake with coconut. Very well done! I also tried the ube crinkle cookie along with a white one that had sprinkles. The ube one was fantastic! It wasn't hard or crumbly like ones I've had before! Fantastic! I also like the white one which I was told has a flavor similar to black licorice. Really good! I also got the banana chocolate bread. Yum! Overall, there's a good variety of desserts here. Even cakes! Not every baked good is Filipino-inspired, but it's also a showcase of the owner's talent! Love it here! They also serve Upper Cup coffee if you're looking for something to go with the sweets! They have Combo options where you can get a coffee and treats for a good price.

Three Bites is an amazing bakery, and a must stop destination for all those visiting Columbus. I go to Three Bites on a regular basis and it has never disappointed me! The food is amazing, the workers are so nice and helpful, and the inside of the store is really cute. Everything is reasonably priced as well! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but I highly recommend getting one (or three) Ube Pandesal in your next order. Trust me!! The Kouign-Amann is my second favorite. Crispy, sweet, delicious! No pictures of the pandesal because I always eat them too quickly. Definitely visit Three Bites if you haven't yet. You're missing out!

Revisiting Three Bites Bakery for some Lunar New Year special items last week and this time was a success. I went in during the morning hours this time and love to see the fully stocked option on the display case. Beside scoring some special items, I also got a couple one that are on their regular line up. If you have a hard time to decide what to get at first [like me], just order something and you won't be disappointed.

    Strawberry bomboloni
    Jeremy Q.

Five stars for the BEST cake I've ever had! I stopped by on Saturday morning in hopes of getting a strawberry bomboloni (a Valentine's Day weekend special)--and lucky for me, luck was on my side! I grabbed a bomboloni, plus a slice of leche flan cake (the girl working told me that it was a spiritual experience) and the vegan mushroom polenta sandwich (I of course needed a sandwich!). The flan cake was AMAZING. The girl at the counter hadn't lied! It was creamy, moist, and absolutely delicious. The bomboloni was also great, not too sweet with a smooth creamy filling. The sandwich had a tasty roasted tomato spread that really made the sandwich but overall it was a little dry, specifically the polenta cake. I think it could benefit from some sort of creamy addition. A couple of things to note--flan cake is only available on the weekend. And if you want something specific, the earlier you get there the better. I went around 11:30 and all of the sandwiches were gone except for the mushroom sandwich I ordered, which I got the last of. I'll be back for another slice of cake and to try the chorizo sandwich!

Earl grey cake with lavender icing and honey drizzle.

We already love their pastries, but we ordered the earl grey cake with honey lavender icing/drizzle for a birthday, and let me tell you...that was one of the best cakes I have ever had. We gave the waiter at the birthday dinner a slice, and she came back to tell us how to-die-for it was. So we told her where to get one for herself! Service could not have been easier, with the online ordering and clear details on what you're ordering. We will definitely be doing it again. If you haven't been to the shop, it's adorable, too!

    Tarts and cake slices

You may have tried Three Bites during market season or at her previous 700 Bryden location. I fell in love with the unique cake flavors that aren't overly sweet and followed along as she put in the hard work to open up a brick and mortar in King Lincoln Bronzeville. It's a dangerously short walk and I've enjoyed so many things I've had. The selection reflects her upbringing as a Filipina and Italian woman. The fruit tarts are pleasantly tart, but balanced. The flaky pastries are my favorite and great if you like salty sweet. The cake flavors rotate and slices are available for you to try them all. Oh, and her savory lunch items are all amazing. The mushroom and leek is something I will order again. My only complaint is I wish the spread were on both sides of the bread! They've been wonderfully busy on weekends, just something to keep in mind.

Maple pecan twist is delicious. Soft with a sweet maple glaze and crunchy pecans to top. This was beautiful down and tasted fantastic. If you're a pecan lover this is for you. I'd highly recommend. Pumpkin morning bun was phenomenal. This is one of the best pumpkin pastries I've ever had. A true pumpkin flavor with a soft buttery pastry. I'd insist on this item. Crème Brûlée Eclair was good. Butter pastry with a crunchy caramel topping and a sweet very well made cream filling. This was my first eclair and I'm not disappointed. I'd recommend. Plum cranberry Almond Tart was delicious. The plums and cranberries were fresh and added a nice freshness to the almond base tart. I'd highly recommend. Chocolate bombe was great. Cold ganache filling with dark chocolate chunks and a beautiful ganache and cocoa powder over the top. I'd recommend for chocolate lovers. Chocolate Caramel Pecan Feuilletine was great. It genuinely tasted like an upscale turtle. If turtles are something you'd enjoy. I'd highly recommend.

I think the issue is with the chocolate they use for the mocha but it had such an odd flavor that I couldn't bring myself to finish it. The croissant was fine and not memorable and I won't say too much on the macaron because I think I just realized I'm not really a macaron person so I can't fairly judge them there. The cafe is itty bitty and there is absolutely no seating inside so it's more of a grab and go situation. There are a few seats outside so hopefully you can snag a seat when the weather is nicer. Overall, I think there are a lot of other good coffee shops in Columbus that I don't see myself going out of my way to come back.

We got here on a Saturday morning just after they opened so we thought. They had actually opened 30…read moreminutes earlier than we expected. When you walk in you pull a number and wait for it to be called. Almost felt like I had walked into the DMV. lol We peeked at the display counters while we waited and tried to have our orders ready when it was our turn to expedite the wait for those after us. There were a few shelves that displayed various cookies, breads and things you could grab and go. The place was clean and the process was orderly. They seemed to keep things in the front stocked. We probably waited about 15 minutes. I pulled number 90 and the were calling the last of the 60's. We ordered several items to try including the packzis with three different fillings since we went at the right time of year for these. We grabbed a cheese, strawberry and lemon. We also chose a cheese danish, maple cream stick, apple fritter, cherry turnover and a donut stick. Once we told them what we wanted the girl helping us went to the back and started filling our box. A few moments later she returned, we paid and headed out the door with our sweets. My husband didn't want to wait so we opened up the box once we got to the car and each took one bite from each of our selections. We didn't find anything wrong with our choices. The one thing I was thrown off by is how they make their apple fritters. I almost missed ordering one bc they look nothing like the apple fritters I'm used to eating. It was just ok in my book. Not something I would get again. The donut stick on the other hand is something I wouldn't miss next time. In fact I'd be getting more than one. It was probably my favorite item of all we selected. The cream stick dough was soft. The cream wasn't too sweet. The only thing I would have changed was to have the maple icing be a bit more maple flavored. The turnover was nice and crispy flakey but the filling was just ok. Maybe a different flavor next time if I would get one. How can you go wrong with a cheese danish? Warm this slightly and you're hitting a home run. This was a nice stop and we learned the difference between what we liked and loved. We know just what to get next time. I will say they have a great social media presence and do a phenomenal job interacting with their customers and community.

We enjoy their products and welcome Resch's to Gahanna. We are highly confident Resch's would be even more successful if they took two actions: 1. Open for business at least by 7:00 a.m. 2. Offer the option of traditional no-filling Chocolate and Vanilla frosted Long John donuts. -- market data supports this and shows .... Based on: * Sampling of 100+ independent bakery hours across U.S. cities * Regional bakery association listings * Yelp/Google Business hour patterns * Known bakery business models A realistic, data‑grounded estimate is: Only about 10-15% of neighborhood bakeries open at 8:00 a.m. or later. Further market data shows... Bakeries that offer only filled Long Johns are extremely uncommon. Why unfilled Long Johns almost always remain on the menu * They serve the "less sweet" customer segment. * They pair well with coffee (important for morning sales). * They are cheaper to produce and have fewer failure points. * They are the "default bar donut" in many regions. Even bakeries that push filled varieties keep unfilled bars because they sell steadily and require no additional labor. --- Bottom-line conclusion Bakeries that offer only filled Long Johns are very rare -- probably under 5% of all bakeries. The overwhelming majority offer both, with filled varieties outnumbering unfilled but not replacing them.
