My wife and I love this place! The family/employees are awesome! Just wish I was closer, I live in Rancho Cucamonga and am willing to drive for good food and great beer! read more

Love love love this place! The beer is amazing! The atmosphere is that of a brewery, if you're looking for dim lights and table cloths, well this is not your place. If you're looking for a fun atmosphere, family run and family friendly place well you're at the right place! The food... don't forget the food! Many original items and super creative, not what you expect from a family operated brewery. Oh yeah the food is super yummy! Two big thumbs up! read more

First time here, yesterday. Very cool chill atmosphere. Family feel, family friendly. Games for the entire family, little and big. Darts, tic tac toe, connect four large scale, board games galore. Casual dining, walk-in order upfront then pick a seat where you like. Simple menu of burgers and brats but really good! Now the good stuff, the beer! Definitely fun variety to try. There's something for everyone. From pale ales, amber ales and deep dark brews. Definitely a must try! Love family owned business. read more

Great atmosphere, delicious beer, and probably one of the best burgers I've had. (Pub burger)

Really cool family run business. Great beer and food, everything was clean and cooked perfectly. It's clear they take pride in their craft, thank you for the great day. read more

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Everything on the menu is delicious. One of my favorite spots. Oh yeah...the beer is good to! :) read more

The beer was excellent, the food was actually really really good. We had the pretzel and the bbq pulled pork fries. Those will not disappoint. But then I saw the boss find out that a gentlemen was getting married and his first beer was on the house. I think this little gesture speaks volumes to the hospitality and friendly environment that seems to be disappearing everywhere. This is an amazing place even if beer isn't your thing. read more

Great beers, food and very friendly staff! I go here when i want to grab something good to eat while drinking such as the amazing pulled pork fries. read more

Great brewery that is close to home. Owned by a great family, who is welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. The food is great, good beer, good vibes and plenty to do besides sit and drink beer. Very fun atmosphere with games to play. Reservations for big parties are recommended and easy to do. Just go on the website and it walks you through the steps. They get back to you promptly. Tables were ready when i arrived and they followed up with my experience and i appreciated that! Great local place in the IE. read more

Thompson Brewery has amazing food. They have really honed their craft beer too. Great place for both beer and food. We will be regulars!

Visited this place because of a groupon deal and it's the best decision yet. They have a great beer selection and different environment setting to accommodate you. Will be returning again. Recommend checking the place out! read more

Always a good time and the beers a solid! Keep it goin Brian! !!!! Just don't challenge his soon to any board games, he owns! read more

I loved this brewery! Family owned and their customer service is great, also the location is 2 stories with plenty of room for everyone to sit and enjoy board games, we had a party of 10 adults and 4 children and we had plenty of space on the second floor, even with it being a weekend. The downstairs also has a little tour of their family brewery history and they have a kids play area. They also have specials they give you codes that you add to the clover app to receive a free beer after you purchase 10. Their jalapeño fries were a favorite but there's plenty of food selection to choose from like burgers to wings, and they have kids meals too. Definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again. read more

I have been coming here with my friends and family for a few years now and absolutely love it. Great food, amazing beer and tons of fun games for you to play and enjoy. read more

First time visit tonight and have to say everything was delicious. From the Pub burger and German brat to the strawberry honey blonde and the tangerine wheat. The customer service was great and really love to see the whole family involved. Can't wait to go back thanks for the night out. read more

Great beer selection, lots of seating both upstairs and down. Cute little children's play corner with lots of toys and activities. Games aplenty for the big kids too. Food selection is amazing! Only reason I took a star if is the speed of service and forgetfulness of the staff. Last visit my group had ordered food, 45 minutes later it never came out! Reminded the staff and 15 more minutes later we were served burned and inedible mac n cheese crisps. Other than that, this really is a great brewery! read more

Bar Crawlers of the Universe in So Cal returned to a riverside brewery of our founding year. Thompson Brewery on Indiana ave. at its new digs, a new building and decor. White walls with big tables out front, the back has a look of a neighborhood brewery. The taps and Eatery shares the middle of the shop. Here's one to catch you on, they have a second floor area. The place for a party (reservation needed). One needs to come by to see what's next. The Beers; A Blond and a Bavarian Wheat to show off the new place, but not a great drink. The legendary Nut Brown from 2013 has gone to some changes, and NOT for the best more likely for the most. Imperial Ginger Belgian Amber is an ale made for the slow gentle drinker (5 stars) sitting upstairs with their favorite treat to play the evening away. Old World Porter what a good drinker (5 stars) wants not what a thirsty drinker needs. Russian Imperial Stout, first sip and you remember why you came here. To find and conquer your thirsty ways. By six it was a roaring success, only wish more of my friends had showed up. read more

One of the best breweries we've been too. Hands down. Beers are flavorful, smooth and will sneak up on you. They're so easy to drink. Food is also on point. You really can't go wrong. Family owned and ran. Service was great. Highly recommend. read more

Great beer, great food, great atmosphere. The food was delicious and unique. I had the brisket sandwich which was very good. Tender and tasty. Great selection of beer. Some sours which is always nice, a ballin' stout and even a few Belgians. Hats off to all that. I'll be back without a doubt. read more

This is my favorite brewery to come to! Great people, amazing food and lots of board games!

My husband and I love supporting local business this being a brewery we were excited to try it out. He's an avid IPA drinker, he was disappointed that they had only 1 available but I loved the honey blonde. The staff was friendly but this place was not for us. It's too bright in there, no TV's, and too many kids for us. We could not hear ourselves talk with the kids playing the with the blocks. I get it's a family place but for a adult night out it's just not for us. If i had small kids and wanted a cold one then I would come here. :) read more

We had my 30th Birthday party here and it was a blast. We had it in the back area and they had corn hole set up and ping pong . The beer was great and the food was great also. Over all a great place and I was very happy we chose this place!. read more

Thompson's brewing is one of the best breweries around. I absolutely adore this place and the beers that they produce! Always so friendly and nice. Martha and Brian are just awesome people. We've been coming back to this brewery again and again. Stop in and give this place a try, they're bound to have something that will satisfy you on tap! read more

Solid beer and surprisingly good food. Decent variety all around. One of the few I can bring the whole gang and little ones have fun with house root beer and a games corner. Family run and family friendly. Ambiance is lacking, and I wish there was a tv with football was on but it just means you pickup a board game instead. read more

Dad's gone. Kids taking over blasting soul music. Rude staff and bad quality food. Not the same pre COVID. Won't be back. Too bad

Went during the afternoon on a Wednesday so there wasn't a big crowd which was nice. They have a kids section which is really convenient. It was clean and the service was good but...the food was just okay. We had the chicken wings and the fried cheese sandwich along with the chili fries. Wings were tiny, cheese sandwich was the best thing we had and the chili tasted like it was canned. Not the worst meal but not the best by far. We got the 2oz beer sampler and the cherry was my favorite. Didn't care for the others read more

We had really been looking forward to trying this place and went on a Saturday night. The customer service was excellent! The food was good and the beer too. They had darts and other adult games which would be fun. For a Saturday night the ambience was really not there. Very bright lights, kids running around unsupervised.. We left after one drink. read more

So happy we found this brewery . We love going to breweries and we haven't found one in Riverside we love but this one , we love ! Good beer , good food , and family friendly . Perfect for us !! Wife and I decided we wanted to get a really good burger on a Saturday afternoon so we started doing reviews on Yelp for burger spots. Thompson kept catching my eye. The place is AWESOME. Spacious and super clean, staff is friendly and food is amazing. Tried the pub burger and it did not disappoint. Beers are awesome as well. We are so glad that we found this spot, and will return every Sunday! If you haven't tried Thompson out yet, get over there now! read more

Thompson Brewing has been a go to spot for date nights and family gatherings for years. When we went to plan our wedding rehearsal dinner, it was an easy decision. The Thompson family made catering easy with their delicious food and fantastic service. Our family had the best time. The kegs we picked up for our wedding were a huge hit. I can't thank them enough for the memories we've had here. read more

Amazing brew and food. Great selection of freshly brewed beer. Real Beer...Not Bud Light.

Looking for a Diamond in the ruff? You've found it here! Great family game night concept, many board games and cards available at every table. Their open layout is like walking into the arms of your family you haven't seen in a while. Their story of stardom is chronicled on creative plaques on the walls. Great selection of perfectly brewed craft beers reasonably priced. I ordered fried pickles, onion rings, chili cheese fries, along with the Pub burger witch was cooked to Perfection! Not dryly overdone but Not raw! I usually have to ask for such a masterfully made creation but this one was just right without all my picky request. Comes with chopped bacon (instead of 2strips that you would usually find at other places) so I got bacon in EVERY BITE! the pickled red onions was a delightful surprise, the bun was beautifully crafted to compliment the beef. But I must say Nothing compared to the family which all took the time to personally speak to everyone and make you feel like you are part of their family, which made EVERYTHING taste better. They also have available for your happiness canning, so you can take home your favorite beers! Unbelievable Jalapeno sauce! Everything fried to Perfection! Mac & Cheese Waffle is Spectacular... Friendly Attentive staff. Nice variety of different craft beer. Great environment seating is comfortable. If I could I would definitely give More than 5 read more

MIND BLOWN. First off the beer is really good. Secondly the food is soooooo good you could forget your at a brewery. Really, really creative great beer. Stupid good food. My baby had her first food tear I would give 10 stars if they had them......Go here read more

Great beer, great food, great ambiance, great owners. The beer here is top notch and a wide variety at that. Highly recommend the ESB. My wife loved the Belgian Tripel. Excellent food as well. The ambiance is great, more family oriented and well lit than you've come to expect from a brew pub. Very accommodating for kids, if you need to get out for a beer and are taking your family this is the place to go. They have games and comics for the kiddos so you can relax and really enjoy the top notch beer. The chipotle burger was on point, you should try it. read more

I really liked the old location, but this new spot feels wierd...Where do I start?...expensive...tax not inluded...menu prisey...counter serving cumbersome...too bright...unimagitve decore...tables, tables, tables...no bar...awkward to meet and talk to people...I waited a long time for this opening...Disapointed...Go to Wicks...Much better... read more

This is a GREAT little brewery (that's growing) - the owners are incredibly friendly and wonderful. Their beers are well made and tasty. My wife and I have dropped in several times and have had great beers and great conversation with Brian and Martha. Highly recommended. The ONLY problem is that they are a bit hidden! Don't despair, just make sure to cruise through the area and you'll find them! read more

Thompson Brewing is my new favorite place! Our family tried this place on a whim and I had the BEST burger I've had in years! Each of the 4 beers we tried were first-rate. The staff was incredibly friendly, personal and welcoming. We couldn't believe how cool the games and toys were for our kids to play with while we relaxed and visited. We enjoyed a tour, an excellent dinner, delicious beer, great quality-time with our family, and lots of fun playing games together. read more
