I've been coming here for the past couple of years and have always enjoyed it. It's a fun spot for happy hour with a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, my last few visits have been disappointing because the fries have made me extremely sick each time, to the point of what felt like food poisoning. I like the restaurants atmosphere. You can be outside but still inside. We were looking for inexpensive burgers and this worked out perfectly as double cheeseburgers are only about $12.00. We had the most bizarre dining experience I've ever had in my life tonight at Thomas Street Warehouse, with a server who, without fail, messed up something every single exchange we had with her. We were in right before happy hour, from about 5:50-7:30 PM on 7/28/26. Our server was a young woman who did not write anything down when she took our orders. That's fine, lots of people can memorize orders and our orders were not complicated. I ordered the fish tacos, my fiance ordered a burger and asked if they could do a different cheese besides the American cheese that it comes with on the menu. The server offered to check with the kitchen about if they could sub another cheese. She came back, stating that they couldn't do another cheese, but they could do American cheese (what is what it was supposed to come with originally). He declined and asked for no cheese, no tomato. She said to me "You orderered the fish and chips, right?" I said no, i had ordered the fish tacos, but asked to switch to a chicken quesadilla instead. I ordered a margarita, she asked "Do you want strawberry or any flavor or anything?" And I said "No thanks, regular marg is fine." We received a strawberry margarita, fish tacos AND a chicken quesadilla, and a burger with american cheese. And I wish I could tell you it ended there. But alas, I cannot. We very politely noted that we had ordered a regular margarita, and a burger with no cheese, and had not ordered the fish tacos, but I hate food waste so we opted to keep the tacos as well. She pushed back and said "I thought you ordered a strawberry margarita." We a new burger back without cheese, but WITH tomato and no jalapenos (nothing had ever been said about the jalapenos that it came with.) Our friends who were running late finally arrived and ordered beers. After their food came and beers had still not arrived, one went to investigate and found the beers sitting at the bar, seemingly having been poured quite awhile ago. The server then seemed to try to rush us out the door, coming over after we'd been eating for about 15 minutes with food on the table offering to box it up for us. We declined and said we were still eating. Shortly after, she came over again, and tried to give us the check. We weren't done, had only spent about 25 minutes total with our friends at the table, and they had planned to order more drinks. She came over again about 10 minutes later and asked if we were done and wanted to give us the check again. At this point, we took the check. For some reason, one of the food items, which had all been placed before 6 PM, was charged the regular non-happy hour price. At this point, it felt like such an unbelievable and awkward situation, I didn't say anything, we paid the bill, and left. This was truly such an odd experience. Clearly something was going on with this server, but we never got an apology or an acknowledgement- only suggestions and implications that we had misremembered what we had ordered, rather than her having brought us the wrong item. She was being patently rude as the exchanges went on, which put us in an awkward position, because we truly had not been anything but polite about the mistakes- but there were SO many mistakes and errors at every turn that I think in her mind we became the assholes? Once I was able to perform enough excavation to remove the damaging onions and secure them to the gates of hell... the Mac cheese with chicken was decent. It needs a bit more kick for spice and stir by cheese, the roux however was well mixed and otherwise was delicious. They included this wedge of seasoned garlic bread which was great to mop up the cheese. I got the Au Jus Beef Dip with a side of Mac & Cheese. The food was very delicious but the portion sizes are not that big for the price. It's about $13 for the sandwich & they ask you what side you want. They tell you the options but don't specify that all the sides besides fries cost an extra $4. You'll find out when you get the bill. It does say in small print on the menu but the service member should notify you of the upcharge when ordering. It was misleading. Also, they automatically add gratuity & then suggest you to add more gratuity on top of that. I'm a firm believer that a tip should be optional. Also, they charged my friend $1.50 for condiments (mayo). All you get is a tiny little cup. They just be taxing so much for everything. read more

This is likely my third time visiting Thomas Street Warehouse in Seattle. I haven't tried their food yet, but I usually stop by around 8 or 9 p.m., when it's not too crowded. I've only been during the winter season, so I can't speak to the summer vibe. Overall, it's a great place to socialize and unwind. The atmosphere is lively, with music playing through the speakers and videos on the TVs, creating an energetic but comfortable setting. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the customer service is excellent. The staff--including security--is friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure guests feel comfortable and welcomed throughout the night. The drinks are consistently good, and I've always had a great time here. It's one of those spots that delivers every visit, and I usually find myself staying until close. I have a very positive impression of Thomas Street Warehouse and definitely look forward to coming back again. read more

I've been to Thomas Street Warehouse several times over the years on Friday and Saturday night to pregame and/or grab food before going out, but this past Saturday was by far the worst experience yet. My friend and I arrived around 7 PM and were surprised that no one greeted us or checked our IDs at the door. For a Saturday evening, the restaurant only appeared to be about 30% full. We seated ourselves at a booth near the entrance, expecting to be served, but waited 40 minutes with no service. We flagged down a nearby waitress to ask about menus and our server. Instead of checking in or notifying her coworker, she simply handed us menus and said someone should be with us soon - there was no follow-up. Eventually, we went to the bar to order ourselves, where it took another 15 minutes just to get two Inception shots. With all the delays, we decided to skip food and eat elsewhere. The place is loud, and the majority of the tables were dirty. Keep in mind, they also turn up the music as it gets later in the evening. Lastly BEWARE, we noticed a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill with no warning. A few months ago, a few of my friends who work in the service industry spoke with the manager to express how off-putting this felt--it came across as sneaky. The manager reluctantly adjusted the bill, but the whole situation left a bad taste. While prices are relatively affordable, the lack of transparency and poor service made this visit a major letdown. read more

We chose this place because it is a short walk from the Downtown Seattle Holiday Inn where we were staying with our entire family (9). 7 of us came for dinner and we were not disappointed. Nephew enjoyed the mac and cheese. B in law said the chicken tenders were very over fried and hard. But the service was excellent, most of the food was really good, and the prices were reasonable. With years of loving the Whistler location it was finally time to visit our local version of El Furniture Warehouse. Maybe it was poor planning on management for not realizing two employees could not handle a busy Saturday afternoon or the fact that there were multiple events going on nearby..... One server for 12 tables and a single bartender has us still probably waiting for utensils and napkins the next day. (Never received) Food was good, prices were expected for Amazon country. Server and bartender did their best but when one table had 7 people ordering multiple shots and beverages, two people can only do so much. Hey boss?!? Get your people some help!! read more

Our server was nice but I personally felt like it took a long time for our food considering that the place was mostly empty and the simplicity of the dishes. [3/5 - Poutine] The poutine was extremely salty and did not have as many toppings as I saw in some photos. However, it did have good texture and the taste of the toppings were good. I was especially a fan of the maple glazed bacon. The portion was also good for sharing, we ended up somewhat full before our entrees arrived due to the size of the dish and the amount of water we drank because of the saltiness. [4/5 - General Tao Bowl] Good flavor and portion size. I liked the ratio of the ingredients. My only dislike about this dish was the texture of rice-- kind of mushy and difficult to eat with. [3/5 - Works Burger] My boyfriend ordered this and noted that it was somewhat greasy. The bottom bun was overtoasted, the patty was slightly burn and was small, and the bacon was somewhat greasy as well. Overall, not things that he likes in a burger. He described it as "ok" For reference, it took about 15-20 minutes for the poutine, 30 minutes for the General Tao Bowl/Works Burger. This place has quickly become one of my go-to bars when I'm in SLU. You'll enter through the main entrance, where they check your ID, and you can sit anywhere available. Compared to some other bars, I actually enjoy the food here and think the prices match what they're serving. Potato skins, fries, and tacos were our group's favorites. There's also a great range of drinks, including cocktails and shooters, but I highly recommend coming for the inception bomb drink. If you want something quiet, this isn't the place. If you want something more upbeat, with decent food and great drinks, this is it! read more

Ughhh, this place is borderline atrocious. My husband, son and I stopped in for a quick bite one night because we were in the area and didn't know what to eat. We ended up here and I wish we didn't. So dirty that the floors are super sticky and covered in some sort of residue that makes a sound when you walk. It also seems like a giant employee party in here. While dining, we saw groups of people come in who definitely knew the bartenders/servers and they pretty much got all the service and attention, while we were left waiting a ridiculously long time for our burgers and trying to flag down our server who was busy hanging with her friends. This place was great! Recommended by a coworker, and I'm so glad she did! Reasonable prices for downtown Seattle, and great food and service! The ambiance is laidback and quirky, with coin resin tables, lots of natural wood, and weird skate videos on the tv screens during the day. It feels very unique and lived in, very fun! The soda was a bit flat but when we brought it to the attention of our waiter, it was remedied by the next round of sodas he brought out. The mac and cheese that I ordered was perfection. The cheese had a wonderful rich flavor and a thick creamy texture and smooth consistency. The noodles were a good weight as well. They really nailed this dish. You could go here for the mac and cheese alone! Many of my companions ordered the Smokeshow burger and they said it was delicious as well. Very much kudos for that! The fries looked amazing too. My coworker ordered a drink on 3 separate occasions and was only served once, when we got the check we were charged for all 3 orders despite only being served once. We had to flag down the server to get drinks and basically beg to get food. Which the food was terrible and all came out at different times. It's a shame because the location is perfect. We watched 2 separate parties leave due to not getting any service. The entire staff sat around in the back corner and gossiped the entire time. It felt like we were interrupting them by being there. Despite only a handful of tables seated, it took forever to place our order for food. The server failed to record one of our orders, so one guest went away hungry. And it took even longer to receive the check, which didn't arrive until after we placed cash on the table and started to leave. A great place to go before an event! The drinks and food on the menu are super reasonably priced and and the ambiance will get your energy up. For food, we got yam fries with chipotle mayo dip, and the spicy vodka rigatoni. The fries were crispy and the pasta was fuel for the Krakens game afterwards (enough to keep me happy even though we lost), but nothing too crazy. The more exciting part was definitely the drinks! We tried a few, including the Key-Rona and the secret-menu Inception Bomb (tequila, Jäger bomb, Amaretto, and beer -- in that order, I think). Not only were they tasty, but also creative, interactive, and fun! Even though we went on a Monday night, there was a good busy energy to the place! This experience was incredibly unprofessional from start to finish, involving both our server and the bartender. Our server rolled her eyes at us after paying because we only ordered drinks (we wanted to sit at the bar from the start)and then stated that she "now owes the bar money," which was confusing and inappropriate to say to customers. When we asked another employee for clarification, we were told servers have to pay 6% to the bar if a tab exceeds $100 -- which ours did not(stlll an inappropriate thing to say) We then went to the bar to order drinks directly and requested separate checks. When I tried to clarify, he walked away mid-sentence. When he returned he gave us a combined check and walked away. He came back moments later with the drinks and I asked for separate checks he rolled his eyes and said "you should have said that" and made a public scene accusing me of never mentioning separate checks -- which I did. I gave him a 20 dollar bill and he went over to his register and looked extremely frustrated and shaking his head. After I made a brief comment about the poor service due to how disrespectful the interaction was, he accused us of "talking shit," he came back visibly frustrated after trying to separate the bill. He threw my 20 dollar bill on the counter and He ultimately refused to serve us, claiming I was "unclear," despite the drinks already being made. This was not a simple misunderstanding -- it was repeated eye-rolling, attitude, public accusations, and refusal to provide service. We felt disrespected, and unwelcome. I would not recommend this place based on how customers are treated mind you we've been here many times and never had an issue with being sat at table for drinks. Alright spot in the area for a late night drink and snacks. The menu offers a good amount of cheap food and drink options. My Moscow mule was surprisingly strong but still super sweet. This drink was more expensive ($11ish) compared to their $8-9 cocktails on the menu. We were able to get a booth by the window for a group of 4 on a Saturday night without waiting. The service was meh, but I guess you can't expect much at a place like this. It took a while for a server to bring us menus and order our food. Once we ordered, the food came out pretty fast though. I asked our server for water for the table, which she completely ignored. This is NOT a good place if you want to socialize and talk to your friends. The music is extremely, unnecessarily loud. So I work very close to Thomas Street Warehouse. Many restaurants in SLU are very expensive, especially for drinks. Thomas Street Warehouse has a very affordable happy hour, every day from 2-5. So it seems like no surprise that we love to come here! My first time was on a Monday around 4. It was basically completely empty. No one came over to help us and when two of us went to the bar to order, NO ONE ACKNOWLEDGED US. So if you do happen to see an Asian girl with a large tattoo in the middle of her back, fake eye lashes, and she short don't order with her.
