Stopped by Sunday evening for a few happy hour drinks. The bar has a nice quite and dark vibe and they serve bites to go with the drinks. We had a few signature cocktails and a few standard ones like Old Fashioned and gin n' tonic. The happy hours bites where very tasty and you get the first slider for a penny when ordering a drink. That was a great draw in. The best was the parm truffle fries. I highly recommend them.

I have to say these are some of the best fries I've ever had. The Parmesan cheese is so fluffy and light it's like you have clouds on your fries. The fries here are perfectly cooked. The proper amount of crisp and not oily at all. It's hard to believe these are fried. The combination of the fries, the sauce, and that parmesan cheese make this the perfect appetizer. I made myself sick I couldn't stop eating them. At the price point it makes you wonder what you're going to get. Is it worth the $14 bucks that is a toss up.

Pennyroyal is beautiful and intimate speakeasy style bar that specializes in craft cocktails. It's just the right size for a date or a small group. They have a small patio on the sidewalk and lots of cozy little nooks inside, not to mention extremely comfortable barstools! The cocktails were inventive and delicious. I was traveling solo, but it would be a perfect spot for drinks with girlfriends, happy hour, or a date!

PennyRoyal is a 21+ bar tucked into the Palladian Hotel lobby. Staff is awesome, drinks are good, but the space is cold (like, keep your coat on the entire time chilly). Black Hole Sun is a penicillin rif with splash of black squid ink that creates dramatic presentation and really subtle savory hint. Ready or Not is usually made with Beefeater but since I'm not a fan, the friendly server was happy to sub it out- yum! They share a kitchen with the other restaurant on property and the menu is pretty similar We split a bunch of plates: oysters, truffle fries, local greens, and the scallop entree were all good. Wasn't a fan of the lox (real fishy) or the cornbread (just meh). Good option if you are staying at the hotel.

They had an interesting seasonal menu of drinks! I liked that they had a couple of gin options too. The service was excellent too! The ambiance is pretty cool, like an old school hotel bar with the big, old leather chairs and colorful couches. They do have a food menu but it's NOT what's online or on Yelp. We got some oysters, that were tasty but I wasn't a fan of the mignonette. Overall, would definitely recommend and is way better than most of the other hotel bars in the area.

Great spot to grab drinks in the city especially before or after a show at the Moore theater!

I love the oyster here taste so good. Can't wait to go back. I have tried all the wine they have man let me tell you they are so good.

This is a convenient place for bites before a show at the Moore Theater. The ambience is a typical small bar. I believe the food is prepared in conjunction with the Shaker and Spear restaurant located next door. This place can get a bit busy for the weekends, but the service is good. The food is also tasty.

I had drinks this evening, I had Audrey as a bartender! She was absolutely amazing talked me through her menu and asked me questions to get to the bottom of my linkings. I would recommend this place to any of my friends, amazing customer service!!!!

Some friends and I were planning to get dinner at Shaker & Spear but it was going to be an hour wait for a table on a Tuesday but instead we were able to get the same menu at their bar next door: Pennyroyal. So we did that and there was no wait at all. I ordered the chargrilled burger ($16) and upgraded to the truffle parmesan fries ($2 extra) and let me tell you: totally worth the extra cost! Fries are my kryptonite and these are some of the best fries I've had in a while. The burger itself was already really good with all the bacon and the chargrilled patty but the fries took it over the top. I'm definitely glad I got this burger and I'd get it over and over again. For drinks I ordered the old fashioned ($11) which was slightly sweet compared to other old fashioneds I've had and not bad at all. I liked it a lot and ended up ordering it again. Then my party of three shared the "initiation's over, time to join the club" drink ($36) that serves 2-4 people. It's also on the sweeter side but with these flaming shareable drinks they tend to be on the sweeter side to hide all the strong alcohol. Our waitress was also great! My friend asked her if she'd recommend the burger or the pork chop more and she went on and on about the pork chop and I thought it was so cool! He did get the pork chop and really liked it. This was a cool bar and I'd love to come back!

Where do I even start?…read more I feel blessed to live down the street from Fish Guys. You've no doubt heard how killer the poke is, that's why you're here on Yelp. Well, let me tell you - the hype is real! You can't go wrong with any option, but my personal favorite is the spicy salmon. And that's just the tip of the iceberg, my friends. Smoked salmon belly bowl is to die for. Same with the eel. So are ALL of the sushi bombs. Did I mention the smoked salmon mac salad is the undisputed king of mac salads? Don't even get me started on Sal's specials. From the crab rolls, to the Salmon Sinigang - the lunch options just don't miss. All of the smoked salmon is some of the best I've had in my 15 years living in Seattle. Especially the salmon jerky. I put the smoked fish up there with the best in PNW. All of the seafood here is so fresh, no matter what you're looking for you're getting the best the city has to offer. The staff are all amazing at what they do and are so friendly. You can tell they really love what they are doing and that speaks to how great the owners are. Love supporting good businesses. One trip and it won't be long before you have a new go-to take out spot and you'll be rocking fish guys gear. Trust me, just go...now.

I stopped by to pick up some salmon belly to bring home, and I can't wait to cook it! If you're a seafood lover, I definitely recommend adding Seattle Fish Guys to your list.

The creamy dip in the head crab shell got us intrigued, so we headed there for dinner. After a short wait for a table, we got seated and got our waters. The server gave us a run down of the popular items, one of which was their sampler for MP ($160). It has a dozen oysters, a whole crab, geoduck, shrimp cocktail, and more. Good deal for sharing. That was way to much food, so we just ordered the whole crab and geoduck sashimi. We also got a couple side orders of rice. The crab was pretty small to share, but it was fresh. The dip was pretty good. The crab "fat" flavor was a little too subtle, but it was still a tasty dip for the crab meat. I had imagined that it would be a kind of crab chowder, but it's more of a mayonnaise mixture. I thought $71 for the crab was a bit pricey though. The geoduck sashimi was really good. There were portions of both the siphon and belly fat. This isn't a typical menu item, so I was glad they offered it. The staff is so friendly. They made us feel at home. I wish they could just hang and chat with us lol. They were so busy though. Anyway, we were satisfied with our meal and enjoyed our time there.

We got there first, as the rest of the family went to the wrong location. So my husband and I were just there drinking water and waiting for them for a while. -I asked our waiter to please. "keep the water coming". Anyway, everyone finally arrived and we got things ordered. The food arrived in a timely way. Unfortunately, I have to report that their prices have gone quite high. I know most restaurants have had to raise their prices, but considering the food, both my husband, and myself felt that their prices were prohibitive, and with that in mind, we probably will not be back for quite a while. My hubbs had their lobster mac & cheese, which he gave a 7 out of 10. I had their lobster roll, which frankly, I could only give a 5 out of 10. It wasn't very flavorful, and definitely needed the dipping sauces that were served with it. Rather awkwardly put together as well, which made it kind of messy. Just kind of hard to eat. I did really enjoy their sweet potato fries though. Everyone else had various seafood dishes, which looked good, and one had a burger, which looked absolutely delicious. (I was kind of jealous once I saw it.) The service was good to begin with, but we had to flag down the waiter for water more than once. And towards the end of the meal, I was having some of that dipping sauce with the last of my sandwich; it was on the spicy side and I was out of water. Tried several times to get the waiter's attention, but it didn't work, and I had to literally yell at him to bring me some water. It was a little embarrassing, but I really needed it, & I was getting kind of mad! I mean, after all, I had made a point early on of asking him to refill the water. So that really kind of pissed me off. Because neither myself nor my husband had ordered any other beverage, & we really needed that water something fierce!! So obviously, I have mixed feelings on Dukes at this point. If money is no object, I'd say sure, go here and enjoy something tasty. But make sure you order some beverages so you don't have to count on the waiters for water!!!
