Went here today craving some classic tavern food. It was pretty quiet when we went, but had a good environment for families or if you just wanted to sit at the bar. Got fried pickles to start, can't really go wrong with those, super yummy. My boyfriend got the chicken bacon ranch pizza he liked it, was a bit messy, but flavorful. I got the tickers twist chicken sandwich, which was also really good. The chicken was moist & the bun was nice and fresh. Hubby got their 295 south burger which he said was very flavorful and he also enjoys their brioche bun. I always enjoy their tickers twist sandwich but instead of their brioche bun I get it on a wrap. A side of ranch must always accompany the fries. We ordered take out tonight and everything was fresh and hot! Can't stand when you order take out and your fries or the bread is soggy. We dined here on Wednesday and was first impressed by the rustic ambience. They have the daily specials. Food was decent and prices are reasonable. However the service was extremely slow even on a weekday with not many people. After being excited to try this restaurant for more than a year, we finally took the plunge tonight. We were excited when we pulled up to the cute log cabin. Sadly, that may have been the high point of the evening. Upon entering, we were immediately hit with an extremely unpleasant odor. I can't quite pinpoint what it was, but it smelled of sour milk and moldy rags. The workers didn't seem to notice, and I think it's because they honestly couldn't smell it. After about 5 mins of mild gagging at our table, we suddenly realized we couldn't smell it anymore either, so I certainly don't blame the employees for not addressing the smell. Our noses are funny that way! When we received our menus, I have to say I was disappointed in the beer selection. They certainly had plenty of options, but none that I hadn't heard of before. I was expecting more small-brewery craft beers, but unless you consider Blue Moon a craft beer, you'll likely be a bit let down. For our food, my wife got a burger that was unfortunately cooked beyond well done (she ordered medium). I tried the big mac pizza, which was quite tasty, but absolutely SOAKED in grease. I'm not sure if they use a high fat ground beef (73%?) or if they just didn't drain it first, but my pizza was sopping wet which was unfortunate. The service was fine and the decor was very cute. I imagine it would be a fun restaurant for kids. Overall, there was just nothing at all memorable about this place for us. It wasn't terrible at all, but I can't see us running back anytime soon considering the plethora of great restaurants in the area. Thus, a 3 star review from me. read more

We went there last night for the first time. Food was ok not great, but what I had a problem with was the hostess that greets you at the door. We got there, walked in and nobody's at the hostess desk to greet you. We waited at least 3 or 4 mins for her to show up and when she did she grabbed silverware and menus and started walking towards a table, all this time not saying one word. When we got to the table still not a word. I thought that was kinda rude. She's not s good hostess. Your first impression of a restaurant comes from your hostess and we weren't impressed to say the least. Not even a smile. While we were there she did the same thing to other customers as well. This place has a really cool atmosphere, almost hipster, but not quite. There's a pretty big space with different seating options - regular tables, high tops, and the bar. When the weather is nice they open the doors, so you can sit out there too. There is a giant Jenga set that's pretty cool. Ive never been disappointed by the food. Usually I stick to the buffalo rider, but the pizza is really good too. The staff all walk around in Thirsty Beaver shirts and flannels, so they are easy to identify. They offer different deals and specials throughout the week, so look out for those. read more

After we ordered, the first half of our order arrived, but the second half did not arrive for another 30 or 40 minutes. So half our party was waiting while the other half ate. Twice. This is such a fun place to be with friends or a big group. My friend and I came today for some drinks, and to our delight there was a $6 Jose Cuervo Margarita special. There were so so many flavors to choose from, and the coconut one was especially good. Along with the margarita special was an $8 nacho special. We got one with BBQ chicken and it was so yummy. Also it was a very large serving, much more than the two of us could eat. We initially sat outside on the patio area where the high tops are, but we got too hot and wanted to move inside to the bar. Our waitress was especially nice and she wrapped up our check there before we moved inside. At the bar, the service was not quite as friendly, but still attentive and quick. I've been here a few times, not terrible I guess typical sports bar food. There nachos were not good at all, way too soggy to the point the chips were disintegrating, the buffalo crispy tenders were really good, they use a very flavorful batter, and the spicy wontons were pretty good. Our frozen drinks were completely flavorless just tasted like ice. Our waitress was very nice even with having a cranky toddler with us she was very kind and patient. Hidden gem! I cant believe we havent checked this place sooner. Tried this place for the first because of their Wing Night special(Tuesdays). You can tell they spent time designing the place. It looks like a lodge in the middle of Greenville. From the wooden finish, to their Chalkboard menus and doors that look like garage doors(opened on warmer seasons for a better atmosphere), its such a cool hang out spot. They even have board games to play while you're just chilling. Food was great. I recommend the Bases Loaded Basket( tater tot heaven) and Sriracha Maple Wings and Cajun Dry Rub Wings. They have cheap drinks too. Waitress Rachel explained everything and was very attentive. GM manager introduced himself to us and welcomed us upon finding out it was our first time. I have come in here quite a few times with my boyfriend and kids and usually have some what a decent experience. We usually always come in at night and enjoy the variety of beer choices on draft and wing night specials along with nachos! At night service is usually slow but it's always packed so we understand and don't even mind. Yesterday we came in for lunch and we were the second table in the building our food took about a half hour when we ordered pasta and a sandwich. We sat without drinks for over ten minutes and when we were finally asked if we wanted refills they sat at service bar while our server chit chatted with the bartender and a guest sitting at the bar that I finally got up and said no worries I'll get these myself and picked the glasses up and brought them to the table. When there is 6 people at the bar and one table of 4 who were already eating and our table of 3 no need to take that long if I didn't see her standing there talking I would have assumed she was busy maybe doing sidework. Great burgers and a huge draft beer selection make this a great place for a casual dinner. I've been here 3 times, twice for burgers and once for wings, and have always had a good experience. The waitstaff is always very friendly and service is service is quick. The burgers are always cooked perfectly and are huge 1/2 pounders, the tater tots are totally worth the extra $1.50 they charge to swap them out from the regular fries. The beaver-theme is pretty hilarious, from the log cabin exterior of the restaurant, to the log bar, and all the beaver pictures hanging up everywhere. I love that you can not only eat on the deck with your pup but that they actually have a Pup menu. Our server was great. Our server Devon was engaging AND entertaining, showed off his impeccable memory skills when it came to orders.
