This is a great little sports bar in Round Rock. They have a covered patio with misters and a large horseshoe bar inside with many TVs both inside and out. Somewhat secluded section in the corner for a little bit of privacy and oh so slightly less noise, great for a group. I'm in love with their meatball sliders! read more

Plenty of tvs and decent enough beer selection. It's a sports bar and nothing more. The bartender will usually change a tv to whatever you want. It's one of the few local places that's has the NHL tv package. I go here occasionally with a coworker of mine that is from Canada to catch Ottawa Senators games. They carry a few Austin based beers along with the usual stuff. Food is good enough with plenty of options. There are a couple of dart boards as well. Considering you're in Round Rock it's a good option and the mid week drink specials are pretty decent as well. read more

I come here a lot and this I'd worst iced had good wise in a while. Got my Philly with quest and the meat was burnt and cheese looked different. I'm not reviewing this is a fine restaurant, this is a sports bar! And as far as sports bars goes, their food is solid, the burgers are delicious. They have OK drinks, could probably work on their mixed drinks some, especially the Mexican Martini, as that is kind of a Texan stay home. But if you go in for a beer and a burger, sit back and watch a game, this is the place to go. I like this place! However, even though it is understandable, it is very hard to find a seat when you want to watch a game. I think this place could improve if they had a host that seated people instead of just having them fend for themselves. Other than that it was a very good experience. Food is classic pub grub sports bar food that is delish with an ice cold brew. Service wasn't horrible even though our server was in the weeds with all the people rotating in and out of her section because they didn't have a designated seat and would grab any extra chair they could find... regardless, its a good environment for sports and I would go again to watch a game. read more

I've been to this 3rd Base several times. Food is average but service has been below average lately. On last visit we sat at our table for 20 minutes and never had anyone come over to take our drink or food order. We finally moved to the bar after some space opened up and the bartender took care of us. read more

Their brunch menu is just ok, I've had better. The one thing I really loved about it were the "muffins" (more like muffin tops) they give you as an appetizer with brunch. Those were so good. Their "French toast" looks like something you would buy at the carnival. 3 piles of fried stuff drizzled with chocolate. My wife, who has a big sweet tooth, tried one spoonful and she didn't want anymore. She said the calories aren't worth it. My daughter had a couple of bites and she was done with it too. Their breakfast potatoes weren't that good either - crunchy and a bit burnt. The eggs Benedict were good. We've also come here for dinner and that experience was better. Good dinner salads. We went to Third Base yesterday to watch the Texans game. Our waitress was super. We ordered appetizers, beer and a two cocktails. The food was okay, beer was as expected, the first cocktail good; but the second one, nothing but water. No color at all. I don't mind paying for a drink; but I do mind paying $7 for a lousy drink. This particular location is very spacious, restrooms are always clean, friendly atmosphere, nice size patio, with outside tv's, not to mention, the bartender and waitresses are super nice. I recently went to Austin to visit some friends for a birthday party. First of all, I love this city and second of all Third Base is a great spot to watch any sporting events. We were all at Third Base for the game Saturday and the place was crazy! TV' s were everywhere so there wasnt a bad (or empty) seat in the place.mWe had a blast and although the place was very busy our bartenders Fletch and Brittany were amazing! Drink selection solid; dart boards suck (b/c darts don't stick/stay); shuffle board is excellent; lots of TV's with Spurs playing; bartenders nice and courteous (Chris); location convent . . . If you sit in the patio and not know who's working it expect to wait for service. Seriously it's a huge section usually for one or two servers at most. But none the less the sever and bartenders are very knowledgable about pricing and drinks. Everyone there has a careful eyes so feel comfortable and relax. I dont go here for the food... i had their nachos and they were okay. However, if you're looking for a drinking spot, its pretty cool. Whenever it's fight night or game day, plan on having no place to sit. I had to stand for 2 hours to watch a dallas mavericks playoff game. beers are decent price as long as you stick to the light domestic stuff. i liked playing darts as well. outside patio is a nice touch for smokers. I would have to say that even with a lighter crowed, we could have had better service. all in all its a place i would recommend for a laid back vibe. unless there is a game then everyone will be shouting at the tvs. read more

horrible service. they also weren't busy. first off we ordered our drinks, took a while for them to come out. didn't come out how we wanted them. second, our waitress dipped out on us and we had a different person who wanted to check my friends ID who was drinking water, and she asked rudely for his ID. third, our waitress checked on us 2 times the whole visit. fourth, we ordered a pickle-back shot and was brought just pickle juice and no Jameson... finally after 2 hours we got tired of it and asked for our tickets but again took forever for them to get it to us so we had to go to the bar and ask for them again. when we finally got a VERBAL ticket they got upset when we asked for a paper ticket to look at. waitress rudely brought us our paper ticket and we put cash down and walked out. we will never return to this place because of the service we received. i do not recommend this sports bar to anyone. read more

I have been to the RR location several times and always received good service, warm food, and cold beer. I dislike that the 6th Street location is home to UF and MSU alumni groups, but only because I am an Ohio State fan.
