I love it there. More TVs than you would ever need, friendly staff, tasty food, good food and drink prices. Always a good time!

- It took them 20 minutes to take our order, while the place was 90% empty. We went there for lunch on a business day, so who can afford to spend so much to get some service. Once we got the menu, there was virtually nothing for vegeterians. We ordered a sandwich without mear and the way they made it, the taste was horrible. When we got the bill, they charged us some $8 or 9 per sandwich which essentially had 2 slices of bread, 2 slice of tomotoes, cucumber, slice of cheese and a pickle. Wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. If there was a rating of 0 star, this restaurant would get that from me!! read more

I was in town recently to visit some friends and while in Round Rock I stopped by Third Base. I used to live in south Austin and frequently went to the South Park Meadows location. I love the food, atmosphere, and most of all, I love the TVs always on whatever game I'm looking for. Anyway, I walked in and was pleasantly surprised to see Fletcher, my favorite bartender, behind the bar!!! He used to work at the one down south and I guess he has relocated since I moved away a few years ago. This is an even better reason to go to the RR location. Great service, great guy! I love the atmosphere, the happy hour specials are reasonable, the outdoor patio, the many TVs throughout the establishment. Customer service is so-so. If you're at the bar, they are very attentive. But if you're at the tables the some of the waitresses have a tendency to be selective on which tables they serve or there'll be a long wait before they come back & check on you. First, let me say that I go there all the time. Mainly because I meet friends that choose it. And that's mainly because the beer is reasonable, and the waitresses are friendly. However, the service is almost always HORRIBLE. From my experience running restaurants years ago, I can tell you that this isn't a server problem; this is a management problem. There is no accountability, I never see a manager on the floor checking with customers, and the training must be abysmal, because nobody ever knows the special drink prices completely. Friday night, though, was a new low. Stopped by for a beer, sat at a two top, and waited 15 minutes for someone to approach me. The bad news? Two servers were standing talking 20 feet away at the kitchen entrance, and it even seemed like we were making eye contact. (when this virtually identical situation happened a week ago, 4 were leaning against the counter in a row. I waved my arms for help that day) Friday, I just walked out, and stopped by a local pub near home. Btw, the food is mediocre at best. If you want a chicken fried chicken, go to Cheddar's. read more

I went to this bar for the first time tonight to watch the Rockets game. The bar tenders were very friendly and attentive. There were tvs every where so I was able to keep up with the game I wanted to see as well as the NHL game that was on. I will definitely go back. read more

The bloody mary's here are spicy and very good. The service here was awesome. The UFC fight was on and the atmosphere here was pretty good.

Our server was fantastic and the food was delicious. Not your average "bar" food. We tried the signature drinks and they were pretty good. Beer prices are $4, which isn't bad. There's also not a bad seat in the building; TV's are everywhere. If you groupon print it. The manager needs to scan the bar code. On our way to Austin and was looking for a dog friendly patio to eat at. Found this place and it was awesome! Taylor, our waitress, brought out a bowl of water for my pup immediately. Well the food is great! The staff is friendly BUT DO NOT COME HERE to watch a pay per view ufc fight. The ufc feed was on 1 screen on the patio and the audio was on for a football game and not the fight. Keep in mind that it cost 7 bucks to watch a fight with no audio. The reasoning is that they were trying to cater to the football crowd, but the event thats being charged for is ufc. So folks if you want to watch a fight and hear it over the speakers do not come to 3rd base! read more

I don't even know where to start. The service and the atmosphere wasn't bad. We got traded off between servers mid experience which is okay, but that left our new server to figure out all of the checks at the end of the night. It was confusing and that's totally understandable. Nothing against her she did her best. She did have three friends there who were talking about our group the entire time we were trying to pay. One of the bartenders rolled their eyes at us and said "we're closed it's time to leave." As we were obviously trying to get our tab sorted out. And yet another staff member, a busboy, loudly talked about how he wanted to punch us all in the face for being there after close. We are all servers and bartenders at a restaurant together and understand how frustrating it is to have customers there after close, but openly talking about customers and saying you are going to punch them in the face? Not acceptable, will be calling their corporate office. read more

Had to wait 10 minutes for them to ask what we wanted to drink. Very rude waitress. I ordered tacos and kabobs from the menu for my friend and I. It was the worst food we ever had in our lives. We took like 2 bites and told the waitress the food was awful. Her response was "Okayy....what do you want me to do?" We ended up not eating the rest of the food, but still paid. She wouldn't take the food back. When we asked for the check, the waitress stood over us and stared at us, and I asked if she could get away from out table for a few minutes. I will never ever go back to this place again. I would give 0 stars if I could. read more

It's a sports bar, so there's tons of TVs, as well as 3 traditional dart boards, 1 coin-op pool table, and a shuffleboard table. Outside there is a washers set up. The patio is dog friendly, has tvs, different types of seating, fans/ac. The tap selection is average, and the food has gotten better over the years. Staff has always been nice, and there's plenty of regulars to get to know. If you need a local sports bar, this is an easy and safe bet. read more

It's a fun and hot spot Thursday-Sunday. I've never had a bad experience and the bar staff is rock solid. I'd say one of my favorite places to visit. Fletcher and C-Mack will take good care of you by serving up ice-cold beers in frosted mugs on a hot Texas day. Food is always great. Well one time i had to send back some bad fish... just never send anything back when one of the owners is there, he'll argue that the food was cooked great and that the Tuna isn't bad it just smells that way. :) Other than that, i still enjoy going there and enjoy the food. No GF beer any longer. Four waitresses and they rarely came out of the Kitchen. Had to ask for water twice. When the food finally came I asked for more catsup which only came after I went back into the kitchen and asked again... Tables were going to the bar and getting their own drinks. I visited Third Base recently to watch a football game. It was packed, lots of fans of different teams. I will definitely go back. The food was good. I probably would have ordered more and spent more money if the waitress came around more. It was super busy, it wasn't her fault. I would recommend management hire more staff during busy times. There were so many people in the sports bar the air conditioner couldn't keep up so it was a bit uncomfortable. read more

Never been in on a Sat. Night.. 2 Round Rock Police Officers sitting at the door, don't know who the GM is but someone needs to send him or her back to the minors. Then I sat and listened to the house music and I knew why they had the two Police Officers as security. This is like 10:30 pm.. unedited gangsta rap music, WOW..All I heard for the next 45 minutes was the F bomb, S bomb, and every other fowl word you know. Again don't know who the GM is but him or her need to go back to the minors 101. Sports bar or rap nightclub, more rap nightclub and again why you need to hire two Round Rock Police Officers. ORIGINAL REVIEW This place sent us coupons in an effort I assume to get us to try their place. This past Sunday my wife and I decided to give them a try. We entered the place and the entire front area of the bar smelled terrible of people throwing up. Not much clean up done from the night before. After sittting at the bar we had to track down a bartender to take our order. After ordering food and drink and submitting the coupon we were served our drinks. A few minutes later the guy came back and told us the manager said the coupons are not being honored as they state they are not good during a MAJOR sporting event. I asked what the major sporting event was and the bartender shook his head and said he did not know but I could ask the manager if I wanted. The answer was the bar was not empty and they were not going to give away anything. It was football Sunday but just the third week of the season and the early game to boot - not what anyone would consider a MAJOR sporting event. My wife and I tabbed out and left never to return. BTW the food we saw looked terrible and frankly we had to chase down a server each time we wanted anything. As a businessperson I cannot believe these folks spent money to bring in new business and then did not honor the coupon. I suspect the manager is to blame for the lack of cleanliness, the poor service and I am sure he is to blame for us never going back. read more

I am in absolute awe of how horrible our service was here. The other night, we had a waitress named Lindsey here who gave us terrible service the entire night, which is fine I guess, because at the time I thought she was new. Well my sister and I enjoyed our drinks out on the back patio for a couple of hours and when we finally get out checks, we had been overcharged by at least 3 beers each. Immediately I said something, politely I might add, and rather than apologize and go to see if there truly was a mistake, Lindsey got incredibly rude and argumentative. She said to us, "um. There is absolutely no way that's a mistake. You had 6 beers." I was not drunk. I'm not even capable of drinking 6 beers and being that able to talk. Well Lindsey wasn't having it, she stormed away and started cleaning the next table by slamming glasses and glaring at us. I cannot believe how unprofessionally she handled the entire situation. I spoke to the manager and wrote a rude note on the receipt, which I'll admit was my fault. But the manager literally saw the way she was treating us and did absolutely nothing. I am never wasting my money here again. I am disgusted by the amount of unprofessionalism and disrespect i saw that night. That waitress needs to be retrained in customer service. We paid for those beers that we didn't drink and left. read more

My friend, Ina S., asked me to meet her at this location for the Texas vs. Some Other Team game. The place was packed, so I will take that in consideration when writing this. We were fortunate to get any seat, but especially at the bar, thanks to Ina. However, being at the bar, didn't guarantee that you were going to get any quicker service, but the bartender was trying her best. I ordered the chicken quesadillas, and they were pretty alright. Unfortunately for us, we had Texas' greatest fan up our asses the whole time we were there. You know, that guy. The one that seems to have a personal relationship with every damn player and also aspires to be the next Howard Cosell. I didn't even really have to watch the game because I was sure to get a minute-by-minute play-by-play by Mr. Fan. Luckily, in the 3rd quarter we were able to switch seats with some nice guys sitting at the bar. We went there for lunch and were some of the first people there so we were greeted right away. After reading the one reviews on this place we decided to get the queso and I am glad we did, it was great with some good spice. The sliders were decent and sandwiches were fresh. All in all, it's a great place for lunch with more high def TV's than we could watch. Service was fine but then again, our waitress really didn't have any other tables. I've now been to this location twice. Both times were because of awful service at another restaurant. Once Twin Peaks then Hooters. This place has come to save the day not once but twice from terrible experience of places where they focus on how short the outfits can be indeed of guest service. Me and my buddies on 01/11/16 went to hooters to watch the National Championship game and they ran out of wings and gave terrible service so wasting a hour and a half there without ever receiving food we went to third base. This place was completely packed but as soon as we sat down we received excellent service and appetizer was out very quickly. As the rest of my buddies funneled in we moved to a bigger table and evertually the pool table keeping the same server the whole time and ordering either more food or drink every time we moved. All of our orders were very timely in getting to us and drinks never were empty. Our server did excellent in engaging in conversation while not overstaying and making other guest wait. Also she said it was her very FIRST day out of training although she had worked at bikinis prior she did very excellent, which makes me think the training staff is also great!! I went to the bar to ask for five dollars in quarters to play pool and they were also great in taking care of me and had enough quarters which means the managers sets up their staff with enough change in the drawer to accomondate the guest. Everything about this place was spot on and I will be making this our new hang out. read more

I've been here 3-5 times now and the service is always horrible. The only reason I kept going was because it was close, but I will probably not return ever again. They do have a pool table(you pay to play-make sure you have quarters!), and a dart board(give your id to the bartender). It would be really great if there was actually service. This last time I went I ordered a 7&7. After 20 minutes of not receiving a drink, I went to the bar to ask for a water which took almost 10 minutes to get and still didn't receive my original drink for a total of 45 minutes. Do not waste your money on the food here. I had the Texas Dip and was expecting a good French Dip where they just change the name to be cute. The beef was not thinly sliced and was tough with gristle. Next time I had a bowl (instead of a cup) of the potato soup. It was a small bowl and they didn't even have the courtesy to fill it up. I was looking forward to a hot steaming bowl of soup right? Well it was luke warm .... lost all the appeal. Today I went with a Cheese Burger for $10. I asked the bartender if this was a Jr. Burger because it was the smallest "full size" burger I've ever seen ..tiny. The beef they used had a strange taste, not terribly bad, but I've never tasted any burger like it and I've eaten tons of burgers with all grades of beef. DO NOT eat the pickle. They make it themselves....you will spit it out. The ice tea was delicious and their homemade chips are really good. Great bartender. read more

This is a great bar in a great location. We go there on various Saturdays and Sundays for football and it is always a great time. The staff is great, especially Fletcher. If you are looking for him just look for the tall guy with the glorious beard. Drinks are strong and the food is far better than normal bar food. Highly recommended. read more

We were here last night after my husband had already reminded me how terrible the food was the last time we were there. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt but he was right! The service from Raven was horrible. After my friend arrived and ordered her drink, it took the waitress another 20 minutes to take the food order. The only reason it was that soon was because we basically had to drag her over. The michelada had zero beer in it, only tomato juice. We ordered nachos and tortilla soup, both were horrible!!!!! The last time my husband and I were there we ordered a sandwich and it was disgusting!!!! Terrible service and even worse food!!! read more
