Tried the Sassy Lassi and the Donut Touch My Coffees with my family, and everything was so tasty and refreshing! The first sip was honestly heavenly. The owner and employees were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely a place I'd love to visit again!

I stumbled across this milkshake shop after a different milkshake shop that I absolutely adore said they were out of ice cream. I tried the fruity Pebble shake which was honestly everything I could have wanted in a fruity Pebble, shake and more. It wasn't overly sweet and I thought it had really great flavor. My only advice to people would be to eat something healthy and substantial beforehand because I didn't, and I feel a little sick afterward. Service was a little iffy but it was in a college town. I believe, I'm not from the area so don't quote me on that. But overall I would be really excited to go back again.

WOW! This place hit the spot and left me and my kiddos all totally satisfied. We had such a good experience at The Yard Milkshake Bar. There are SO many options that we honestly needed a minute to decide. The woman helping us was incredibly kind and patient while we figured it out. She explained the different choices and never made us feel rushed, which I really appreciated. Also, major bonus: the whipped cream was vegan! They have a bunch of vegan options overall in addition to their exciting regular dairy options. I ended up getting the one with the coffee ice cream (regular dairy) and a donut on it! It was so, so, so good. It was also a really good serving size. I ate probably a third of it and saved the rest for later. Popped it in my freezer and it was still delicious hours later! Nice place inside, clean, good vibes, great service, and a perfect treat! We will definitely be to try some of their other items and flavors :)

I was super excited to come here, I'd been following since their grand opening. I was even excited for and upcoming event they're having. Walked in the young lady was super friendly told us the QR code would show us the breakdowns of the shakes. We ordered 2 Specialty Shakes (souvenir cup included oat tastic doughlight and brownie batter) 1 Milkshake (cookies and cream) We didn't know you can't have the specialty shakes to go because it's huge! (Our bad) Ice cream flavor was good (not thick, drinkable) My husband said his milkshake was watery (mind you, it was the 2nd one after I dropped the first one (again my bad!) While me and my sister tried to drink our specialty drinks down my husband went and got the car. I dropped his milkshake on the floor. I asked the staff could they make me another milkshake considering I dropped it they did it with no problem I even asked if I would need to re pay because I dropped it, but as I tried to clean up the mess, I believe it was maybe a owner said to me " STOP it cost me more money when you do that.. (it's not what you say it's how you say it) I was extremely apologetic and he was not welcoming.... It was rude and off putting , he could've expressed that to an employee instead of me or even sent someone over to clean it up (thats why I started cleaning my mess in the first place) I got my replaced milkshake with no issue, we said thank you and kindly left.. I appreciate the young lady who helped us from the moment we walked in... - Happy Yelping!

The Yard Milkshake Bar opened recently in one of the commercial units on the ground floor of Enclave Dormitory. Interior totally new with some seating adjacent to a wall. Also some murals. Offerings on wall behind counter: special bowls, ice cream scoops, edible cookie dough, cashew ice cream, milkshakes + sundaes, loaded pint milkshakes. Greeted & served soon after entering. Server explained many options & it's contents. Pd. Shake ready in 5ish minutes. Not busy. Licks: loaded pint milkshake-coffee N. Cream (13). -coffee ice cream, whipped cream, Oreo crumbles & cream cheesecake ice cream seen/tastes. Chocolate fudge drizzle & half & half not as much. -shake initially wasn't too sweet. When other items were mixed in, it became sweeter. Whipped cream mixed last. 4.5 stars semi-worth:YMMV Quality: premium ingredients. Quantity: reasonable. **Yard Milkshake Bar appeared on Shark Tank.

I'd like to give credit to the staff. Being that this was our 1st time here, the menu was overwhelming. There were no physical menus, just pictures flashing across the monitor with limited descriptions. Which means as a customer, I had questions. No only were the staff helpful, they were engaging with my young son. We felt welcomed. The atmosphere was nice. The background music was good. The restaurant was clean and they had a nice variety of icecream flavors to choose from. Nowadays everything is pricey. But if you can afford a few extra dollars to spend, I think this is a really good place to try out. I'd consider it a local alternative to the milkshakes at Sugar Factory Las Vegas.

There's a self serve kiosk near the front entrance or you can order at the front with the cashier. The ice cream is really good! Each ice cream is refreshing and it all taste wonderful! I would definitely come back to grab more! I love the designs inside and the fact it's all cow themed for the cups! You get your ice cream quickly!

Really good quality milkshake but definitely on the expensive side. The cookies and cream milkshake was thick and creamy with really good quality chocolate/milkshake base. We went on a Friday night and the staff was definitely busy fulfilling orders. You order through the kiosk and wait for your order. There wasn't much seating by the time we got there but was lucky enough to snag the last table. The place wasn't super clean, probably due to the large amount of people going in and out and the busy staff. Overall, if you're a milkshake fan and indifferent to price, this is an amazing place.

The place is vibrant, The Unicorn tastes impressive and Sree was exceptional! Above all, I love how they deliver customer service. I do notice! And you know what's awesome? You get to keep the cup! Great souvenir. Thank you for the experience!

[Plays song lyric] My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard (literally). The Yard Milkshake Bar in Berkeley just had their grand opening on 9/5 and they'll be offering free cookie dough scoops all weekend long! With their location being just steps away from UC Berkeley's campus combined with being a new establishment to the city, you already know there will be lines. This is the first location in California. If you've never been to The Yard before, they're known for making elaborate and over the top milkshakes. They also have a huge variety of ice cream and cookie dough to choose from. Each location is known to put their own little spin on the decorations inside and this Berkeley location kept the rustic feel but has a mural designed by a local artist! I thought that was a nice touch. The staff were super friendly and patient with our questions. I was looking over the menu and thought everything was reasonably priced (some would argue that it's too expensive for what it is). They offer scooped ice cream, grab and go ice cream, regular milkshakes, specialty milkshakes, edible cookie dough, and specialty (ice cream) bowls. Note: if you order the specialty milkshake or an edible cookie dough pint, you get to keep the mason jar! A nice souvenir for sure and they even have a jar washing station for you to clean it prior to leaving so you're not stuck with holding a sticky jar. There are two menu exclusive items that you can only find at this Berkeley location: the Mango Sassy Lassi shake and the more secret item being the Cal Bear Shake, which is cookies n cream ice cream with Nutella drizzle, chocolate icing rim with teddy grahams lining the rim. I opted for two scoops of ice cream and a scoop of cookie dough to share. After ordering, we were looking for a place to sit. There were limited numbers of tables. They did have standing counters but we didn't feel like standing. We took ours to go, walked around, and it was a great time. The ice cream was rich, creamy, flavorful, and perfect - everything you expect in a high quality ice cream! Did not have the cookie dough bc my SO ate it all without sharing, so that should be enough to tell you how good it was! There are so many combinations of ice cream you can do and so many variations of milkshakes that are offered! I'll definitely be back to try a different thing next time.

To go jars - flavors galore!

But, my boss orders us food from Fenton's via Doordash to be delivered to our Oakland office from time to time. Last several times in a row, it's been pretty dang bad, (the potato chips always taste fishy!) but today (8/5/26) it was literally garbage. We had 2 egg salad sandwiches and a jalapeno burger, plus two milkshakes. The egg salad sandwiches had to be straight up tossed out. Just not edible. The egg salad was sooo watery, it was like a soup. Just dripping and running down out of the bread. Also, a HEAVY mustard taste, overpowering everything else. The burger had a piece of something (literally) translucent on it, apparently their idea of a slice of cheese? And the accompanying fries were COLD. The toasted almond milkshake was so runny it was like a flavored water. Not at all a creamy consistency, I don't even think they made it with milk, it seemed to be just a tiny bit of ice cream, some water and a lot of ice cubes (still visible in the shake). Just nasty. The other milkshake seemed ok. Of course, with the order being from DoorDash, it's near-impossible to get any real support, so it's just basically a total loss. I don't know if Fenton's just doesn't GAF, since they're always busy anyways, OR if they need to pay their employees more in order to attract the sort of person who's capable of being trained to care to do things correctly, but it's just really a bummer that such a neat, fun, old legacy business is allowing itself to disappoint customers and turn into a big mess like this. Sad.
