This is food from the teriyaki chicken bowl w/chow mein. We put it on a plate for our girls (young kids)
Sarah M.

Food was very average. The employees were very nice and friendly so that is always a plus. I wish I actually would have taken a picture of the orange chicken because my husband commented on greasy it looked behind the glass counter. He usually always orders orange chicken and wanted some but did not because of the way it looked. I actually love Kung pao chicken but didn't order that either because it did not look very appealing. I ended up ordering half and half (rice and chow mein) with beef/broccoli and "spicy" chicken, which actually was almost like a different version of Kung pao in my opinion. It was pretty good and it actually was pretty spicy, it had a nice little kick. We also got egg rolls- they were average. People kept coming in and out ordering, so you can tell it's quite popular despite being right next to a Panda Express. My husband mentioned he'd rather go to Panda next time because he felt like the food is more fresh there. We like supporting local businesses so sad to say we might not be back again :(

Worst orange chicken ever

This place serves the worst orange chicken. It's mushy it's wet it's nasty. It doesn't even look like chicken.

Sesame Chicken, Kung Pao with Chow mein and fried rice

Good spot for some quick Chinese food. Good flavor and portions are good. Nothing fancy just basic but sometimes that all you need. I had the Teriyaki Chicken, BBQ Chicken with chow mein and fried rice which is good. My Wife had the Sesame Chicken, Kung Pao with Chow mein and fried rice another good choice. We also had an order of egg rolls and cream cheese wontons that we enjoyed.

We've been coming to the Wok experience for years and we have always gotten fresh and tasty food! It's unfortunate that others have had bad experiences as it's a great affordable option for Asian style foods. "Chinese food" authenticity obviously is arguable, as it is fast food Chinese food, not Chinese fine cuisine restaurant food. Luckily the Wok experience doesn't claim to be authentic other than wok cooked Asian style food. We love the dishes and have favorites such as teriyaki chicken, Kung Pao Chicken and sesame chicken. Never soggy and always fresh. I always order the cream cheese wontons and egg rolls, always crispy and tasty! The staff is cordial, there sometimes maybe a language difference but in all fairness they are not in any way rude. The dining area is clean, has plenty of seating of tables and bar top tables as well. Give them a shot, they are definitely worth it!

Assorted noodle soup

Don't know why this place has a lot of bad reviews but it's actually THE BEST. Love their service , ladies are so nice , food amount is great, food in general is good. I love their entrees and the assorted noodle soup.

The flavor was good and I enjoyed them, but unfortunately they were missing one of my favorite parts of xiao long bao. The soup. There was very little to no broth inside. The braised beef noodle soup was easily my favorite dish. The broth was flavorful, the beef was tender, and it came out at the perfect temperature. My only complaint was the noodles themselves. They were pretty tangled and clumped together, almost like they had been sitting refrigerated before being added to the broth. Once separated, though, I really enjoyed the dish. We also ordered the sliced beef with hot peppers. The beef had good flavor, but I thought the sauce was a little too dry for my preference. And when they say hot peppers, they mean it, there were A LOT of jalapeños. There was also a small wait between receiving the noodle soup and the rest of our entrées, so the timing could have been a little better. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, plenty of space, and is conveniently located near Downtown Redlands. Overall, I'm glad to see a place serving good Shanghai style Chinese food in an area where there aren't a ton of options like this. Definitely a place I'd come back to and try more of the menu. 7/10

We ordered the garlic chicken combo, General Tso tofu, and vegetable fried rice. The combo came with a side of soup and an egg roll and rice. We picked hot and sour soup, vegetable egg roll, and fried rice for the options. I was most impressed with the fried rice. It was hot and steamy and fresh. It was not oily or greasy at all. All of the vegetables tasted good. Nothing was soggy or overcooked. The char flavor from the wok came through incredibly. I've paid a lot more for fried rice that's not even 1/10 as good as this. Was very excited to see that wood ear mushrooms were used for the hot and sour soup. This is really hard to find. You can tell they don't just use a powder mix - the egg and tofu were also very silky and not hard or overcooked. The garlic chicken was definitely also a surprise. It actually tasted like garlic and chicken! They didn't just use a whole bunch of jar garlic. I actually did not see any pieces of jar garlic at all, which was great! But the garlic flavor was absolutely delicious and very prominent. I did not get a picture of the general tso's tofu, but it was excellent; crispy on the outside and silky on the inside. Paired perfectly with steamed rice. It's really hard to find a place that does tofu well. I will definitely go out of my way to come back here again. We had no issues or problems with the service. It was exactly as it should be. They took our order, brought our food and then let us pay when we were done. It was perfect for me. No interruptions to our conversation. The food was very hot and fresh. You could hear them cooking it right away as the waiter called out the order to the line. Nothing came from a steam pan or was reheated in the microwave, it was made to order. Everything was fresh and stayed very hot.

There are options available at affordable prices such as their combination plates which are at $12 and change. It comes with a soup, egg roll and main plate with rice of choice. Almost four years later and this is my favorite overall restaurant in the Redlands area…read more I mean I love me the fantastic THREE STAGS IRISH PUB, but in my heart of hearts fresh made dumplings beat fresh made fish and chips any day of the week. And OMB is more vegetarian friendly. This isn't a Chinese restaurant with a thousand dishes ranging in quality. This is curated collection of classics done right: Cantonese dim sum, Shanghainese soup dumplings, and popular Chinese comfort foods. All the dumplings are made fresh. I see some reviewers suggesting they've had better elsewhere, but those elsewheres are over an hour away. I know those places and they're not worth the drive or the higher prices. There's a reason new locations of this restaurant are opening up left and right in the IE. Yucaipa just got one and they're opening another in Palm Springs in an impressive 'in the middle of everything' location. The only shortcoming of this location is it's a tad too informal for my taste. Like it's more a well lit room than a cozy area you might lounge in. However, that shortcoming is rather common in the IE where I wonder if a place looks a little posh the customers turn and run. The staff is great, the service prompt (even when busy), the boba drinks are delightful -- what's not to love? I'm certain that almost anyone who comes here will likely return. I just went yesterday and a rainbow appeared above ONE MORE BITE DUMPLING. Exactly how I feel about this place.

The food had been so full of flavor and the service had always been so friendly and expedient. The ambience is suitable to the type of restaurant it being classified as fast food. The owners/staff have always maintained a superior level of cleanliness. However, as of lately the flavor of the food has left something to be desired. The flavor is not necessarily bad, but rather just lacking. In addition, the service as of lately has not been necessarily unfriendly, but rather not what it used to be. But the understanding that it is a "fast food" establishment things need to move along, especially when there's a line. However, even when there's not a line it's very hurried, and there is an undertone of intolerance. The portion size seems to remain. But, there isn't much point to that if it's not even enjoyable. I really hate to see this happen as we have been very fond of this establishment and the food for this many years. This is why I could only give it three stars. I was tempted to give it to, but it's not that horrible however, it's also not satisfying and I don't know that I'll be returning to try it again. Maybe one day but we'll see.T

I've never seen chicken pot stickers at a buffet (bc they're 99% always pork pot stickers). Fried rice, noodles, seafood galore..... basically, carbs and ocean things everywhere!!! Food was fresh, they kept replenishing the food due to the amount of traffic flowing through.
