I love everything about the Window Depot and I'm happy to see that they've opened up a second location in Phoenix. They have the best prices in town on skylights, windows and doors and they have a huge selection! The staff are also extremely helpful and they're plenty of staff to assist to you. I bought some windows from them a few months ago and today I came in for a Solatube tube skylight. I'm so happy that they have this brand as I know that it's the best one on the market. I found that Home Depot only has the cheaper ones. Sam helped me today and he was so great and very patient with me, as I had a lot of questions. He showed me all of the accessories that I could get with it and ordered me a special decorative lens to go with it. I was able to take the tube light home today and he said the lens will be here next week. He then was able to recommend someone to do the labor for it. The store is clean, big, they have a huge selection and a helpful sales staff. If I move or need to remodel again, I'll definitely be back here for my skylights, windows and doors! read more

To no surprise their Yelp ratings are pathetic!! We walked in there the place was dead, not one employee asked if I needed help.. When we finally asked for help the enthusiasm to help us was so bad, we walked out never to come back again. Also, the entire store was dirty, disorganized, and most items you didn't even know what the price was!!! Save your time and go to HOME DEPOT OR LOWES!!!! read more

Ordered 5 windows on May 8th, they said it will be 2-3 weeks. It's now almost 4 months later and I still don't have 1 of the windows. They keep blaming their provider but when I last spoke with the manager they admitted to marking the wrong window as here and the wrong window was reordered causing another huge delay. 4 months! It's not OK and I don't feel they are taking enough accountability and just placing blame on Milgard. I do not recommend them if you want good service, the right size windows, or even just your windows in general... read more

Tracy was incredibly helpful with ordering a few doors for our remodel. She simplified the process for us!!

Great place for windows and doors! We used their Ins stock windows to replace all of the original windows in my rental and they are so much better! They have a lot of in stock standard size dual pane affordable windows. I've found it's best to order windows in person if the ones you need aren't in stock. They also have awesome front door and interior doors as well! read more

I frequent this location A lot! I have to say our company K10 Construction does a lot of purchases here & every time they have been so helpful & knowledgeable! They have had everything I needed in stock and ready!! Can't tell you how important that is in this field! BUT 2 people really stuck out and went above and beyond their normal work load. Mark & Miguel were so Friendly, Helpful and a life saver! They are always pretty busy and even when they are they STILL take extra time and help me ( I'm a woman) with straps and getting it secure in my truck bed . I'd be lost and frustrated if it weren't for the taking time to really help someone instead of sending them on their way to figure it out yourself! Trust me a lot of companies do that ! But not this place! This is why I will be a loyal customer for years to come! Thanks guys for ALL YOUR HELP read more

VERY POOR Customer service. We ordered a window and paid for it. I went to pick up the window the next day and NO ONE had put the window aside. There were NO WINDOWS in stock when I got there. Had to wait one hour before someone who knew what they were doing to help me. she said she would get a window from a different location and have it there 2 days later. I called to make sure that happened before I wasted my time again and of course THAT NEVER HAPPENED. In fact they said I already picked up the window!!! ALSO when I called the guy on the other end of the phone was VERY RUDE and short with me on the phone. read more

First I will say, great employees. Prices, same or slightly less than Lowes depending on doors. My biggest issue, it is PHOENIX in summertime and apparently the owner knows 3 of the coolers don't work, but is ok with that. He is making enough money and busy enough that he doesn't care to fix them. And I'm are not even talking a/c, I'm talking evap coolers that you can replace for $700. I understand this is a warehouse, so is Lowes, so is Home Depot (and guess what? They have real a/c) It was 115 today. Ridiculous! I was already there, so I went ahead and bought the doors, but you can believe I will be in Lowes next time. read more

Have been there a few times over the past few months to purchase doors and trim for a home remodel. They have great prices but definitely a challenge to purchase anything from here. Horrible customer service!!! Our last visit we ended up walking out and went to another door and baseboard place down the street that was the about the same price or cheaper! Not planning on going back. read more

From the minute we paid for our countertops, the customer service received was horrible. When we went to pick up countertops as we purchased at night, we were given the run around for a month. Total nightmare to pick up the product we paid for, sent to different stores, promised calls back and nothing. Horrible customer service!!! They do not even care. read more

I have had an awful experience with every person at this place. I do not recommend! Brandon the manager is extremely ignorant. First he told us that our windows would be there in 2 weeks. (The whole reason we ordered with him) it actually ended up taking more than that. He then messed up measurements for one of my biggest windows in my addition. Which would be no big deal if he took responsibility for his actions and fixed it. That is not the case at all. After talking to many other window experts I have realized that first - he should not be managing any store, but secondly should not be ordering windows when he can't listen, understand or write down simple measurements. My husband and I hoped we could still use it but once we got home realized that we would have to move electrical and take out pieces of our wall. Essentially costing us thousands! We spent almost $5,000 for windows with this store for our entire addition and they can't even fix their mistake. This has went all the way to corporate and even they won't do anything but give us a window "at cost" which is $580 when we spent $700 and something for the window itself. It's a special order so they will not let us return it or give our money back. DO NOT BUY FROM WINDOW DEPOT!!!! They have zero morals, treat their customers like trash, and have no common courtesy what so ever. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Terrible customer service. I bought 7 doors and it took me 45 mins for them to bring them out to my truck. Laziness of the laziest people I've ever seen. read more

For my latest remodel project I decided to go with The Window Depot for all the Windows and doors throughout my project. I had bids from other vendors but The Window Depot was able to price match the lowest order. Last week I was told a Fireguard door for my garage would be arriving. When Brandon the manager found out it somehow didn't make it on the the truck, he called me to inform me that he would personally pick it up from their Tucson location and deliver to my project sight. Although a couple days behind schedule, I appreciated the above and beyond effort to fulfill the order ability to work with me on price matching. read more

I purchased all windows and doors for my new home here about 4K worth. I'm happy with the product however the sales people lack any real customer service. Rude comes to mind almost if as the customer is a bother. I did try several different sales people hoping for better service, nope. They all seemed to have the same snide attitude. unfortunately I ordered several windows at different times, So I had to come back to get the same brand. On a positive note It is easy to shop here. Luckily half way through my house build I met Robert. He has been excellent to work with. I only would deal with him to finish my build. I literally left once because he wasn't working and came back to order my last windows. Thank you Robert! The other sales staff should follow his sales ethics lead. read more

Best price around for windows! If your able to do the labor yourself this is definitely the way to go! Will definitely be back for any future window and door needs! read more

I drove across town to find that the window depot is a total waste of time. No social distancing despite the sign on the door that they practice it. They have a very small selection of low end doors and windows and cannot/ will not special order. They don't have a single door over 6'8" tall. Don't waste your time. read more

So about a month out from my order date and i am still waiting for my window. Communication with staff on status on my window is horrible no one can seem to give me a straight answer on when it will come in. Rufe thank you for reaching out to me I have went to the website info@thewindow and left you details of my situation if you can please look into this matter. read more

Called over the phone to get an estimate on a large door. It has been 2 plus months and I have not received a straight answer on the price and details of the door they are recommending to replace mine with. Their quotes are generic to say the least. After going back and forth with a sales associate I asked for a manager and explained how things have taken way to long and I need a straight answer. He apologized and said "We are really busy". Wow. The manager gave me the same horrible service as the associate. I still to this day do not have a price and my questions answered. Very disappointed. Never felt like a valued customer and have decided to take my business elsewhere. I would not recommend them. read more

The manager Brandon was the kindest person ever!! He was so helpful! I was looking at doors and didn't have a question at first but then when I asked a passing staff members they gave me attitude. Brandon was quick to make me feel better and gave me a deal on the doors and windows just for the inconvenience. Will continue to do business and send referrals over! I'm an Interior Designer and my husband has built custom homes for over 20 years. I'm personally impressed by what Window Depot offers. We had a very professional experience with the Custom Cabinet Design staff. Make an appointment so you don't have to wait. They are very busy because they have the best prices in the valley but I found the service to be terrific! read more

Place has extremely competitive prices on windows and doors. Yes. DOORS. Go check them out before you hit up Home Depot or Lowe's. Also the customer service is pretty awesome. Several people asked if we needed assistance. Very impressed. read more

The Window Depot is a great store. I'm really glad I discovered them! They have a good selection in stock and can order things you might need. The staff is always nice and they take care of you. They seem to have a culture of caring about the customer, and it shows. I've purchased Milgard windows, SI Windows, trim, sinks, granite, small stuff like shims and more from them. They also have a nice selection of kitchen cabinetry, vanities, shower glass, sun tunnels (skylights), security screen doors and more. Robert Valenti Project Construction LLC read more

Went to go get a window special order and they were the wrong sizes they had to redo it 2 times and still wouldn't get it right. Very poor customer service also just wanted the glass and now say they discontinued that since December when I got one made two months ago hmm Never again!! read more

I had to order a replacement door for my home, one that I would have thought was fairly standard: a steel exterior door, no frills. I told the salesman I needed a Left Hand, Outswing door. I even brought in photos of the old door so there would be no confusion. My receipt showed "AZLH OUTSWING", so I assumed everything was OK. But when it arrived two weeks later, it was a right hand door, and clearly labeled as such. They refused to take it back and give me credit, because it was a "special" order, even though I argued that they did not deliver what I had asked for and expected. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. BBB tried to contact the Window Depot multiple times, and got no response whatsoever. read more

Store looks pretty awesome. Front desk people are true idiots!! Went in looking for professional help and I got McDonald's quality service. So frustrating. I don't typically write reviews but I am literally writing this in the stores parking lot. I walked in ready to spend $1500 bucks. Nope won't happen. Home Depot here I come. Maybe 1500 bucks is no big deal to them but it is to me! read more

I purchased quartz countertops in late 2017. I was happy with the price and initial service, however everything else lacked. The installer who was recommended by Window Depot, Pedro was not a great communicator. He missed the instal date and rescheduled then needed my sink for cutting at a moments notice. At the instal we all realized he didn't understand we had a slide in range. It took TWO months to get him to correct the issue. In addition my undermount sink is not cut or mounted correctly (it's off center) and the area behind my stove does not match the rest of my counter. You might be wondering how Window Depot helped me... they didn't. I called several times asking for them to reach out to Pedro with no support. This is why I am reviewing Window Depot and sharing my experience with Pedro. My counter is beautiful but don't look too close. read more
