I placed an order online for replacement closet shelf/rod brackets. Picked them up the next morning. Got home to SanTan/Queen Creek area only to notice one missing. Called and they were kind and sent the missing piece out the next day when they were doing a builders delivery drop in the area. Would use them again. read more

I've bought several custom windows & doors from this company in the past, the selection is good and the quality and pricing even better, however the customer service is horrible and if you can get past that it's worth checking out. read more

Usually have most stuff in stock, the warehouse guys are very quick, very helpful and super nice! There are tons of samples and inspirational pamphlets/books for you to take. If you are picking up an order/will call, be sure you show up before 3pm. They are NOT open on the weekends, plan accordingly. read more

I'd give them ZERO stars, if I could. ZERO ZERO ZERO If you call, they will lie to you, just to get you off the phone, causing you to waste valuable time and waste expensive gas! When you get there, their salesmen won't have the faintest idea what you're talking about but will be incredibly condescending. Do yourself a favor...go down the street to The Door and Trim Store. Knowledgeable, friendly, professional and the prices are better! read more

I was referred here by a friend to order interior doors and molding. Dealt with jose in June 2022 . Place order 8 doors and said to be delivered 3 weeks. Ok. After 3 weeks , the very next day for delivery , he called said it delay for 2 more weeks because shipment delay etc etc as usual . Funny how he didn't know until the next day for delivery. Ok now another 2 weeks but next day he send me 2 doors and molding that I ordered separately . Well that 2 doors was wrong size . So another weeks lead to another few days late. Finally got the door .Because we are in the rush, we painted and installed the door .then saw 2 doors were bend and closing the door left a small gap. I always try to support local businesses but I won't do it again with them. Even though the manager had apologized but damage is done. Very disappointing. read more

I'm extremely disappointed in this business and WOULD NOT recommend them! We were told our large order of doors was IN stock and a week out, we chose the door because it was IN stock as we have a timeline. Great we thought. Our contractor ordered them the next day and was told 3 weeks out. We thought ok, that's not too bad, but not sure why they lied initially. After 3 weeks, they tell us they have not even ordered the doors yet! And it may be 2 more weeks but "no promises" WTH????? Then they say they are looking at orders that are 3 months behind! I get it, people get busy, but to not be upfront, just to get a sale I have no tolerance for. They lied, mislead and wasted all of our time. We've asked for our deposit back and will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

I've been doing rehab and construction work off and on for 40 years and this place is great! Built a home in 2020 and all doors and trim came from this business. The home turned out magnificent and I got many compliments on the woodwork. I used knotty alder and stained. I'm currently doing a remodel and back again. Highly competitive pricing and good quality. read more

Done business with them for a few yrs now great place ! Good prices quality materials . Easy in and out . Easy location to get to . The guys are very knowledgeable . read more

The manager is a Jerk. They charged a 20% restocking fee and was an absolute jerk when we asked if he could reduce is a little. The employee was a jerk too. "Its just business" they said. Good price all in all but very rude and you have to wait on hold for 15 minutes. read more

The sales staff is very supportive and helpful in helping you pick out what you need. They have a wide variety of trim options with many in stock. My only complaint is parking/pickup is a little bit difficult depending on what time of day you are there. read more

This company is by far the best door and trim company I've been to. Not only am I a painting contractor; I'm also a private consultant for inspecting construction projects, scheduling trades, and coordinating projects for clients. We have had some real shoddy workmanship by Home Depots suppliers and their subcontractors on my own house and several clients homes. All of the doors we have put in from discount door and trim in Mesa have been perfect. We have a master framer installing in our own home and he's also complimented the doors and jambs buy discount door and trim. sincerely appreciate the quality and the experienced and caring staff. read more

I found this business on Craigslist because I just needed a cheapie hollow core pocket door to replace one that had a hole in it at my old place. Prices were pretty good for a custom sized door; under $40 compared to $110 at Home Depot. This doesn't include painting or any drilling. I suppose if you ask nicely they will do it for you. We left our order and called back a week later, but there was no door. The wrong door size had been sent. A few days go by with no call until we finally reach someone a few days later, no messages had been returned. They finally had the door and when we picked up the door a few days later, it was still not quite ready and we had to wait until they finished. So in summary, they have what you need for cheap prices but they have really slow service and unorganized communication. You get what you pay for but at least the door was good quality. read more

Sent an email with two different doors and sizes that we needed for a project. The quote came back for one of the doors and we wanted to proceed with the offer. The sales rep had some out of office issues and we ended up going down in person to finalize the order. The original rep was still not available, so we met with another rep Jose and gave him the quote information and ordered the door. The door arrived today and was not the correct size. It appears Jose changed the size from requested but the price was the same for the smaller door. Called today to try and resolve and was told there is a no return policy and that the other quote would have been wrong too so we are out of luck. If you choose to order from here Jose is not the sales rep you want to work with. They do not stand by their mistakes and are not willing to even accept partial responsibility. We have both order numbers, not sure why the size was changed. read more

Bought baseboards from them and the price was better than all stores I could find such as Lowe's, Home Depot and Floor and Decor. Corey helped me out. He was super nice and responsive by phone. I've already recommend this place to several of my friends. Great quality and price. read more

Terrible communication, service, product!! Will NEVER again use them nor would we ever recommend them! My General Contractor hired him for our doors and trim on our new build, what a nightmare! Very upsetting because we wanted to trust and like them. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED & FEEL CHEATED WITH THEIR SERVICE AND PRODUCT! Stars would give, 1-5... NEGATIVE 2! If I'm able to get back to this post, I will add photos. read more

So happy we found this place! My husband has been doing some home renovations and we need 2 big doors to complete our office. We did lots of shopping around & discount door and trim had the lowest prices. It's super easy to buy through their website but I wanted to make sure we got everything right, so we went into the office. Jordan was the guy that helped us and he was great!! He walked us through everything & kept us updated on the doors process. The doors are well made & beautiful! (Will add pictures once project is complete) we will be going back soon to grab some trim! read more

The customer service here was excellent. We bought doors at Home Depot and that was a big mistake. Needless to say we took them back and came here. They made all the wholes to match our door frame and the doors went in perfectly. So glad I went here. If you need doors tia is where you need to go. read more

I'm in the process of buying baseboards here. Floor Coverings international of Chandler-Gilbert recommended I get them from here. Save yourself some trouble and do not waste your money here. We ordered trim in August which had to be paid for before they would place an order. They said they had to order it and would call us when it came in. A month later I called to ask about my order and they said it wouldn't be in until end of November and they would call when it came in. November 17 I called and they said it came in but they wanted to go and find it just to make sure and call me back. They called back 2 days later and said they don't have it anymore and that it came in during October but they do not call customers to tell them that it is the customer who should call them. read more

I am remodeling my house and replacing all the doors with new prehung alder doors. I searched the big box stores and other manufacturers Discount Door and Trim has the best prices by a large margin and their quality is equal to or better than the others. I have to be honest... home remodels are HARD! Especially when you find the perfect 40 year-old home that needs everything-- including an update to its 1980s front door. The good news is Discount Door and Trim was the EASIEST decision I have ever made! I am beyond thankful and thrilled to have been recommend to Discount Door & Trim from LollyJaneBlog (two gals I regard as experts when it comes to making homes beautiful). Their recommendation was spot on! From my initial request through the good ole instagram to driving by my beautiful front door this morning, I am beyond happy (actually elated) with my experience. The two craftsmen that installed the door were true experts. Believe me, I have had many things installed in my house during this rennovation process and they're always the same-- in & out as quickly as they can with little attention to detail or care. Not this company! I was amazed at their meticulous approach, careful handling and expertise. Chris & his company are a true rare find in the building industry, and I can't wait to work with them again!! Thank you Discount Door & Trim!! read more

Stopped by to pick up some molding. Not a single employee were wearing a mask or observing any form of social distancing. Went back to a different building to pick up my molding, none of those employees had masks on either. The President said wearing masks is patriotic, no patriots here! They also messed up my order and gave me the wrong molding. I think I'll just eat the $20 instead of going back. Won't be going back even after the pandemic is over since they don't care about their customers. read more

Very professional company. Great prices. Doing a remodel and Jose Martinez was swift and understood exactly what we needed. The guys that cut down our baseboards and trim were also professional. Max exactly to size. Thank you! read more

I would give a review on how these guys do business but really can't. It is 11:30 on a Saturday and while the website says they are open the store is closed, nobody is here and there isn't a sign or anything on the door. They don't answer the phone either. Another car just pulled up tried the door and left. This is a terrible way to do business and I would rather spend twice the money to work with a professional company. By the way look at the filtered reviews to see a couple more opinions on this place, not sure why they were filtered but would dramatically lower the rating if they weren't, Thanks for wasting over an hour of my time and a bunch of very expensive gas. Perhaps I will come by for the going out of business sale... read more

How this company is still in business is a total mystery. Phone calls not returned, emails never acknowledged, delays without notification. Absolute zero communication. It has taken over a week to get an estimate and I'm still waiting. I call everyday and Chris says he's getting to it and then nothing happens. Miguel says its better for them if I come in to the shop to get an estimate. Really? Better for them if I drive across town for an estimate? Very disorganized, not sure how anyone would trust pre-paying this company for anything. WHAT A JOKE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. read more

I was looking for a reasonable price on baseboard. I didn't need to place a telephone call, because I knew I was going to need to see the trim up close and personal. The hours of operation are clearly stated on the Discount Door and Trim store website. I simply drove over and arrived unannounced and unexpected. The store is a little tricky to find, but no problems at all. As other reviewers have remarked- it is a small operation. I was warmly greeted by Miguel and I explained what my needs were. He gave me tons of samples and I left without buying a thing. I'm really picky about these choices! On my second trip back I placed an order....and then I changed my mind. Arrrgggh! I hate doing that but sometimes things like that happen! I was embarrassed and expecting huge restocking fees. However none of that happened. Miguel said no big deal and we changed my order on a Thursday and it arrived the following Tuesday- my choice of delivery date. One item did not get delivered and they brought it the following morning. I have no complaints with this company-I think they are great! I will definitely return and recommend them to my friends. In fact, my daughter will soon be ordering a custom door from them. I might add that the quality is better than Home Depot- similar to R and K building supplies and for much much less $. , read more

I renovate lots of properties with many different investors and these guys are always first in mind. They have the best prices and service!

Looks like I have been going here for for the last 4 years whenever I have been doing updated in the house related to door and trim. Whether you are a house flipper and need builder grade door knobs and locks or baseboard for the whole house this is a place to check out. They deliver all over the valley. This last time when I bought I took 4 16ft sticks of baseboard in my pickup that has 8 ft bed all the way to central phoenix with no issues. They can chop it up smaller if needed or they will deliver too. The owner showed me a trick where if you have your stake holes stick a piece of wood in there tape your trim around it and have it rest on your mirror up front. Very nice helpful staff. Marshall has been there for a while and always easy to deal with the owner is also very hands on and helpful as well. read more
