We replaced the carpet in our hallway with luxury vinyl flooring. We had initial communication/language problems with the people installing. There were also some quality issues with the installation (one area where the carpet from the bedroom was loose due to the installation. There were also gaps along the baseboard) I believe that things will occassionally go wrong - it's how the response to those issues are handled. The staff at Mesa Sales were on top of it and I felt they made me a priority. They sent someone out that same day and fixed the problem and, when he was done, you couldn't even tell there were any issues. This place offers a lot of upholstery and flooring items. I had to get a 1/2 yard of marine grade Naugahyde to re-upholster a seat for my motorcycle and I was impressed with their selection of colors, styles, and textures. Prices are fair and inventory is massive. They offer other things such as piping, buttons, foam, and other stuff for your DIY projects. Staff is knowledgeable about the products they sell and service is top notch. My only complaint is the location in Mesa and the current road construction that is going on at Main St. read more

I have shopped here for many years purchasing fabric, flooring and window coverings. I have always been content with my experiences. I had an experience lately that was very unexpected. A mistake was made with my shutters. Initially they seemed like they were going to take care of the mistake and did for half of my order. When I reached out to see what the status was on the other half, I was informed that "the owner has decided to take the loss on your shutters and not replace them with the correct ones". Basically, they did not collect the remaining balance for the incorrect shutters, but I still have shutters in my windows that are not correct. Based on this experience I can not recommend using Mesa sales for any custom orders. They do not stand behind their employees mistakes. read more

Huge selection of home decor fabrics(get lost wandering around for an hour huge). Great pricing on things like foam pieces, pillow forms, etc. The staff are really friendly, local business types who know a lot but won't cater to snippy customers. Got to see a high maintenance woman get taken down a few notches last time I went. Always entertaining. She ended up admitting they were right and thanking them for saving her money, it was hard not to applaud. Minus a couple stars because the designer fabric prices are a little steep, they don't do any sort of coupons or loyalty program, and I got a ridiculously uneven cut of fabric last week. Next time I will be sure to measure the piece BEFORE using it so that I can return it if it's uneven. Would have been nice if they offered to give me a discount when I had to go get more but that's what I get for cutting into it before measuring. Closed weekends(even Saturday) so plan accordingly. read more

They unfortunately lost everything in a fire, but are looking to reopen at a new location. In fairness to them, I think the banner on Yelp should be changed. I had been researching carpeting to replace worn carpet in our home. I had been to western states flooring ( barely even took the time to walk out from behind his desk to point out where samples were located). In my opinion Home Depot and Lowes should get out of the flooring. Salespeople did not have a clue. Carpets of Arizona had the highest prices of anyone. I was frustrated and sent out numerous emails asking if anyone could recommend a carpet company. I had no less than 10 recommendations for Mesa Sales from close friends and family that recently purchased and had nothing but the highest ratings for customer service and best products for a reasonable price. I visited Mesa Sales and Was greeted by a gruff old looking codger named Russell. I immediately realized this friendly guy knew his product. I later found that he had been in the carpet business for 40 years. I explained to him what I had been dealing with and what I was looking for in our home. We had the carpet selected in 10 minutes. Scheduling to install took minutes. No wasted time waiting for incompetent employees. The installer, Mr. Perry Weeks, showed up 15 minutes early. He was professional throughout the install. He respected our home and property, making sure to be careful of the newly painted walls and new wood flooring. He installed the carpet to perfection. Mr. Perry has been installing carpet since 1975. This experience is getting worse and worse. I wanted a refund for the flooring and went through visa to get it. They responded by offering to redo the carpet but I do not want them in my home. The install and subsequent redo of the seams was awful. How can I trust their installation at the point. Then he said we could have a full refund if we give them the flooring back by Jan. 15th. How in the world could we pack up and move all our stuff in that short of time. Then they offered us $1500 back. what a slap in the face. Wow -- What a poor business on customer service and follow-up! We bought $7,000 worth of product from this company and had to deal with them sometime later, after the product was installed and the problems began to show up. The product problem was not in the quality of the brand (they sell some good products) -- Instead, it was a problem with the quality of the installation. We spoke to "Jim Maley" there, and honestly I've never spoken to a ruder person. I don't know how a quality company like this could treat people this way, with a customer service attitude that I can remember a year later. Terrible! Watch out if buying from this company. Deal with your problems immediately and do not count on any kind of customer service or concern on the part of management for you. My husband & I shopped around for new flooring for weeks in many stores & found the flooring we liked at a local store. However, their lead time was about 5 weeks so I called the Shaw flooring Company directly in Georgia to see who carries the Floorte Pro flooring we wanted & they recommended Mesa Sales. I called & spoke with Stephanie, gave her the info of what we wanted, (BTW she's in charged of the window covering department) & she made an appt. for Perry to come out & measure the floors the next day. Stephanie & Perry showed up together, measured & that afternoon emailed the bid. We were in a time crunch & they made it happen within our time frame of 10 days. Perry called me the day they received the floors & made an appt for the next day installation between 7:30-8. Sad to say the binding job they did on the floors was not good at all because it didn't last for more then a couple months. It was like pulling teeth to get the owners wife back out to work in the binding problems. Then when she did come, she was so rude. I was there when they opened today (8:30 on Saturday morning) and met by a woman at the counter who helped me. She measured my cushions, advised the right foam and batting, had both cut for me, found the adhesive I needed and gave me a quick tutorial on how to wrap my cushions and get them back in their leather zippered pouches. I paid and was back in my car at 8:45!! Fastest I have ever done anything. People there know their stuff. Great place for the professional and the DIY'er like me. read more

As an RVer, I love this store. I've bought numerous rugs for our RV that have been the incorrect size for the space I wanted to cover, because that was all I could find. I then found Mesa Sales & Supply, bought a carpet remnant, and had rugs bound to the exact size I wanted. I even bought new foam for our dog crate, which they cut to the appropriate size. I could not recommend this business. A recent install of a small piece of vinyl was poorly done and I had to clean up after the workers left. Wax (from the bottom of the toilet) was in the bathtub and one of the workers had something on the bottom of his shoe that stained my carpet. Can't believe the installers do not wear booties. When I voiced my concerns the man in charge got very defensive. I did take pics in case this becomes a "he said, she said". Not a good experience for the high price! read more
