In my professional, opinion I would not purchase any product from this company. Marvel Building & Masonry Supply/ Border Our one-and-only experience with them has been a complete nightmare in our eyes. We were contracted to install a finer cement panel on the exterior of a building.  Nichia, who is the manufacturer directed us to contact it's local distributor  Marvel Building & Masonry Supply/ Border to purchase the material through. We provided  Marvel/Border with an purchase order with the correct product, quantity, and color. We received a conformation back from Marvel/Border that matched our purchase order. We had requested that the material be delivered to our office. They delivered it to the job site instead. Mistake #1 Once we got to the job site and installed the product all seemed well. This was until a few weeks later when the architect informed the general contractor and us that the material color of the Niche panel was incorrect. Upon investigation, we learned that Marvel/Border had provided the material in a different color to other similar buildings and so, without checking with us, unilaterally decided to change the color when it ordered from Niche even though Marvel/Border's conformation to us had the correct color on it. Being that this was our first time working with this product we did not know the difference in hues in the color from what was order and what was shipped and ultimately installed. The owner, who was only a few weeks away from closing the building, had a major problem on his hands. Marvel/Border informed us that it would not replace the material even though they it made the decision to change the color without permission or notice In the end, the owner required us to write it a $30k deductive Change order to accept the incorrect color panel on the building. In our opinion, Marvel/Border made the mistake, but it won't own up to it and pay for it. Based on our experience with Marvel/Border, buyer beware when you purchase any product from Marvel/Border if it makes a mistake, you may get the same treatment that we did? read more

My paving installer referred me to Marvel and I am so glad he did. What an amazing place - they have everything I needed for my hardscape and lighting remodel. The Bellgard displays were very helpful. Tom patiently answered all of my questions, walking me directly to the products in the various displays around the store. Tom really knows his products and did not hesitate to provide good advice. When I asked for a product he did not carry, he quickly recommended a supplier and before I knew it, he had Google'd the supplier's address and printed a map. Was fun to work with Tom, and I look forward to the my project with much more confidence that we will have a terrific result. Highly recommend! We have people here to do our yard, and no pavers that were supposed to be delivered yesterday evening. No location is answering phone. The hours show closed, even though they're open. What can I say... Customer service at is best here. Jimmy is awesome and super knowledgeable. The entire staff is so friendly and willing to get their hands dirty. Looking for pavers ? , landscaping good ? Block ? And much more .....All the mayor Brands are represented here. I think is Mostly contractor that visit but is also open to the public . Do not ever use Marvel. This company is a joke. Took our sales rep a week to email us back about the fire pit we were ordering on it the price he gave us included the insert and grill. First email was he didn't know followed three days later with yes it does. We place the order for over 200sqft of pavers and the firepit. Schedule delivery for two weeks later. Never did we receive a call to tell us when delivery would be on the date we picked. Only call we got was when they were in route to our home at 8am on a work day to deliver. We were told they were not delivering the firepit or all of the pavers. They don't know why or when we will get the rest. I'm sorry excuse me? We paid. In full. And you can't give any kind of explanation? Or give a call the day before delivery to ensure someone is home? This company is extremely rude and unprofessional. Get your pavers elsewhere and stay far away from this company. Before they reply stating they don't have an order in my name. It's in my husbands. Charlie Rogers. read more

On 9/9/2022 I walked into marvel masonry and ordered 600 sq ft of Belgard Catalina sierra pavers and the manager, Rick, wrote up the invoice. When I tried to pay, he told me he couldn't take payment because they had already shut down the payment machines - which made zero sense to me but I took his word for it. He told me he would call me on Monday morning and take payment so my contractors could pick the product up. He never called. I called the store on Monday and was told Rick was out until Thursday. The person that answered the call could see my order in the system and I told him my contractor would be by to pick them up. My contractor went over to the store and Anthony told him that the product was not in stock. I could not believe my ears. Anthony could not have been more rude and unaccommodating but beyond that, I was forced to choose pavers that I HATE because I am on a strict timeline as well as my contractor and I had to choose, from the phone, one of the 2 in stock pavers. When I asked to pay with my card, Anthony said, " we don't take phone orders" and I said "well Rick was going to take my card over the phone" and Anthony replied, "well he's a manager so.." - I was ready to come through the phone. I will never recommend marvel to anyone. I cannot believe how I was treated and how this company does business. It is atrocious what you people do and I HATE THESE PAVERS. I've dealt with some really awful companies but this one surpasses all. What a horrible experience. read more

As a landscaping business owner I will definitely NOT be back to Marvel Building & Masonry Supply. And definitely don't recommend it for any projects. I went there a week ago to place an order for a week after in advance, and while been there i made a purchase of 2 pallets of pavers (they had in stock) for pick up days later, when I went to pick up the 2 pallets, that I had paid for already, they had told them. That same day I made sure they placed the order to be delivered on Wednesday June 17th, they said yes it will be delivered before noon. Wednesday 17th, NO delivery!! and they didn't even bother to update and let me know they weren't going to be delivering. My secretary called early today to ask what was going on, a lady answered first, then kept her on hold for a couple of minutes, than after a man answered and said that they were having trouble with drivers,and they will be delivering today before noon and driver will be giving an hour prior delivery notice call. NO DELIVERY AGAIN!!!! She called again after noon and they said the same thing, will be delivering tomorrow morning, you're on the morning delivery list. In my personal opinion this is not a game! They are keeping me behind on my job and not really good reputation with my clients and they aren't worried about anything that's really going on. I mean is their business who is losing more than just one costumer and making itself look bad. I'm just not coming back!!! As an owner of a newly opened business, finding places to purchase materials has been an interesting experience. A couple months ago, I had called into the store to see if Marvel sold a particular product in which I spoke to A kind young woman named Harley. She was super patient when I had a lot of questions and was very knowledgeable about the product. She also provided me with her email for further questions and orders which I very much so like. I have experienced issues with getting threw to them on the phone so this is a great alternative. We have placed quite a few orders through her, these past few months. She is really great about communicating quickly and efficiently and always got the product delivered as soon as she could. We had one instance when the product was going to take longer than she originally told me but I really appreciated her honesty and that she quickly found solutions for us. The delivery drivers have also been great. They call before they arrive and they always put the product where asked. I will definitely continue shopping here! read more

Their products are amazingly beautiful, however there customer service is horrendous! The guys at the counter act like it's hindering them to answer a question. Definitely not the way to run a business. If the customer can't ask a question then the customer will not write the check!! read more

Excellent knowledge and customer service at Marvel! My husband and I are DIYers and had many questions on how to install our pavers. We had questions about our beginning foundation process all the way to the final optional sealant stage. Each time we called our questions were always answered thoroughly. Our delivery driver named David was great and placed our ABC, sand and pavers in our driveway where we wanted them. He was very pleasant and even honked the horn in his truck when he left for the amusement of my toddler who was impressed by the entire process :) We will be back to Marvel again in the near future and they have earned all of my kind words when I talk to my friends about my experience! read more

I had a fantastic experience at Marvel recently and felt compelled to write about it in order to help direct anybody that is in need of building supplies. Tom and the other employees of Marvel (including Eddie at the Indian School Rd location) went above and beyond to assist me on Friday. I hired a contractor to put some leftover stone I had from my custom fire pit on the columns in my backyard without realizing I needed 2 boxes of additional corners to complete the job. After many phone calls and research on their end, I was told that my exact stone was not in stock and would several weeks to get more in. It was evident that I was disappointed so they did not give up finding an alternative solution. In the end, they took the time to locate what they did have in stock that would be the next best match and were able to work with me a little bit on cost because this stone was significantly more expensive. These guys were knowledgeable and clearly dedicated to providing the best customer service possible. They have made a loyal customer out of me and I am so grateful for their efforts! read more
