My Wife and I went in to look at rock for our front yard (7200sqft). When we walked into the office they were busy with other customers so we patiently waited for our turn. Another gentleman walked in and the older guy behind the counter asked what he needed rather helping us. So we waited till he was done. Now it our turn to ask about some rock. My wife has a picture of some rock she likes and wanted to match it. The guy said "I can't tell anything from a picture, if you want to look our rip rap is outside at the end of the office." Friendly staff inside that helped us order some boulders for our yard. We picked several that looks really nice and the price wasn't bad at all. They have a bunch to choose from on their lot. They did offer delivery which is a lifesaver consider how heavy they are. Our rocks were delivered the same week. Delivery guy showed up on time and was friendly. He used the crane on his truck to place them exactly where we wanted them. All in all, it was a easy experience and would come back here again. read more

I called multiple gravel companies that were not very friendly or helpful, especially after I told the I was just some homeowner. A & A materials was completely different. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable and patient. Great priceses too. I wish I could remember the name of the guy originally spoke with or the woman I ended up placing the order with because they were amazing. The gentleman who I first spoke with took the time to answer my questions about gravel in a friendly and professional manner. Very easy experience from ordering to delivery. You can go on site to get samples of what you are wanting and then you can call in to place your order based on the square footage. They recommended 2 inches of coverage but we did 1 inch and it was fine for our front yard. They offer free delivery with over 14 tons of rocks purchased depending on your zip code. The person who is dropping off the delivery will call you when they are on your way. They will deliver them right in the front yard if you would like. Very simple process and would order from them again! read more

We ordered 12.5 tons of Apache Brown 1 inch landscaping stone. It was supposed to be screened but consisted of at least a third of it was soil/dirt which is not what we ordered. There was also a fair amount of white/concrete stone included. Stay away from this company, it really seems they were trying to pull a fast one. Terrible service. read more

On my most recent 20 ton order, Stephanie went out of her way to help me with a special request for delivery, and they were able to squeeze me in early (This GREATLY helped, in that it allowed the landscapers to get an early start on a hot summer day!)! I also really appreciate that their delivery guy wears a mask, is super friendly and accommodating, even made sure the gravel didn't prevent our trash cans from being picked up by rolling our cans in front of the gravel pile. I needed to fill in some bald spots in my backyard and A&A was one of the first decent-looking links on my Google search. So, on a hot Saturday morning a few weeks ago I dragged my wife here. This was my first time buying rocks so I had no idea what to expect. As soon as I pulled up I knew I was out of my element and somewhat intimidated. However, the staff there were very friendly and helpful and I was able to get what I needed. From weighing your car to finding the right rock pile to shoveling the rocks into bags......it was an interesting experience to say the least! Also, I don't know the going rate for rocks but this place seems to have a good price. I've been there twice now and probably bought 500 pounds of rocks for a total of like $25 which seems pretty good to me. read more

Earlier today, I was in a bind because the landscaping company I bought river rock from did not deliver it when they said they would. If I changed the delivery time, then the guys who were hired to spread the rock would not be able to do it. I was in a big bind! I called A&A materials and explained the situation and they said they could have my small load(1.5 tons) delivered in the time today that I needed it. Bonus..it was cheaper, too! The product I ordered from A&A was on-time and a super quality ( I ordered river rock--no crappy aggregate mixed in at all--). I ordered 7 tons of rock. Approximately 1 ton of it was dirt. The office person and driver were friendly and the driver put the rock exactly where I wanted. But the quality was extremely poor. For comparison, I ordered rock from two other companies in the past and the quality was good. read more

Third time using this company. People are super nice. I saved over $200 using them vs J&J. No delivery charge...I ordered a lot of rock. The other company was going to cut me a break as I live around the corner...less than a mile. They would only charge $35. Go with A&A...I did the work for you. there prices are the best per ton now know why the screen process 14 tons of gravel delivered it was screened but iam sure I paid for 2 tons just dirt more than enough rock to area its thick 2-3 inches so not thin areas they told me little dirt in it when I asked if rock screened. I hosed down rocks to try settle but ya so much dirt just clumps this was installed on clean prepped ground on top 5oz linears I didnt have any way do screen myself as was dyi job I will live with it and learn next go around so yes screen rocks before u have it installed il have wait long time see if it settles down but now plenty of dirt for summer bermuda take root in read more
