This is my 2nd time in here and I absolutely love the pizza. It's very delicious and it's always very tasty. The owner is really nice. From the outside it looks as if it's closed . I would suggest brightening up the windows. If you plan to get pizza here you'll need to pay with cash unless he has a ATM in the restaurant. Other then that very delicious pizza.

This is one of those situations where you've lived somewhere for two years never having tried that one restaurant. We ate pizza at different locations since we moved to the area in 2018... We never felt satisfied enough to return for more. That is until we finally had a pie at Wagon Wheel. I read a review about how good the crust is, and I couldn't agree more: It's crispy and light. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the perk of ordering drinks at the vinyl room. It made for an inexpensive and enjoyable night out to eat. I'm dreaming of my next Wagon Wheel pizza experience!!!!

While there is hardly a dearth of pizza places in the area, one would be hard-pressed to find a place that offers a better value than Wagon Wheel. This is a no-frills kind of place--a modest restaurant interior, no delivery, not a "gourmet-style" pizza with fancy schmancy toppings in sight--that offers good, traditional pies at very reasonable prices. (i.e. When was the last time you paid $9.49 for a large cheese pie?) The whole operation is run by one guy: the owner. I have been here three times and each time, while I was waiting for my pizza, there were regular customers dining in and taking out (always a good sign!). Either the owner has a lot of best friends or a lot of satisfied repeat customers. Pro Tip: Cash only.

This pizza was amazing! So far, it's the best pizza I've had in the Wappingers area.

Pizza is delicious! The dough is perfectly fluffy and tasty! Wish there was more business drummed up for this place, as it is well-deserving!

Old school pizzeria with handmade pizza by the owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our pizza and can't wait to go back.

Best pizza for the best price in Wappingers. Simple as that. Fresh ingredients and the owner isn't obnoxious like other places by Home Depot

She suggested the board with smoked mackerel, served with warm bread, avocado crema, juicy cherry tomatoes and gherkins. Beautifully presented and so delicious. Our friendly server Rob was extremely attentive and provided descriptions on the various entrees. I started with a light, delicious cherry Bellini. My entree was the best Pasta Bolognese I've had in a very long time! I'm an Italian and it transcended me back to childhood in my mother's kitchen! The rich abundant meat flavor blended perfectly with the spiced tomato sauce! It was a truly delicious dish ladled over the cooked just right al dente pasta! Deliciousness at 100% ! I highly recommend it! Husband had the huge, thick cut , bone in pork chop! Unbelievable flavor! The glaze was deliciously savory with hidden tastes of sweet Asian over perfectly charred cut up sweet potatoes and sticky rice on the side. Both our dinners portions were very large offering plenty for another meal at home. This was our fourth visit to the restaurant . Next time we are traveling up here to Poughkeepsie for work from Boston area we will certainly return! Each visit gets better and better! It makes me realize why familiar faces return regularly to the restaurant. The owner Tom is so welcoming and friendly. The food is not only excellent but the friendly atmosphere the whole staff provide makes it a winning combination! You all are so lucky to have this restaurant near by! Deliciousness and the best hospitality with fair pricing is hard to beat! I wish I took pictures!

We went for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how attentive the service was. The setting alone is quiet, scenic, and relaxing, adding to the experience feeling special. We're particular about cocktails, and the specialty drinks leaned a bit sweet and light for our taste, but switching to a Grey Goose martini solved that quickly. The standout of the meal was the special appetizer, the Lobster Escargot. Between the bread service and the rich, bisque-like sauce layered over the classic preparation, I could have happily ended the meal right there. We left no trace behind. I followed with the crab cake and wedge salad. The crab cake was generously sized, very fresh, and exactly what I hoped for. My husband ordered the branzino, which was absolute perfection, beautifully cooked and full of flavor. The sides, however, were less memorable; the smashed potatoes and green beans felt under-seasoned and a bit boring compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, it was a lovely anniversary lunch with memorable dishes and a beautiful view.
