    Wings and fried Small Okra

I felt like wings while staying in Ridgeland. And The Village Kitchen popped up with some good reviews. Let me tell you, this spot is fantastic for wings. Hope in the wall place that has a vibe. The music coming mount of the kitchen with the cooks and counter staff singing showed that everyone was having a good time there. Food tastes better when people show up with some soul and Village Kitchen has that. I got the Village Suicide sauce and Flip sauce on the wings. The suicide sauce carried good heat but not so much that you can't eat them (my tolerance is higher than most so ask for a sample). The Flip sauce though... This was just a delight. The flavor is Smokey, bbq, honey, and buffalo.. I know, it sounds like a lot but the way it hits your pallet is great. The okra was cooked perfectly! And one of the highlights for me on it was the seasoning in the breading. A mild Cajun seasoning added and it is fantastic. If you are looking for a some business to support and get the best wings in Jackson, stop looking. Actually, stop reading this and just start driving there. You're welcome.

My man and decided to try out this place and dine in! The honey wings were the best I've ever tasted! The fries are awesome as well! I don't know that the seasoning is that's sprinkled on, but it's absolutely delicious! Don't Forget to add cheese. We will definitely be back..

So this place has some of the BEST most fresh wings in Jackson. Wait time typically fluctuates depending on what day of the week it t is but I have yet to have one meal here that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed! Definitely one of my top 5 Jackson, MS spots to eat. They also have an option where you can order online then come pick it up which is super convenient for gals like me who are constantly on the go. My friend and I order the garlic Parmesan wings and some other sweet hot flavor and it was BOMB. We also got this sauce on our fries (would HIGHLY recommend). 10/10 would recommend this place to any wing and fry fanatics!

It was my brother's turn to pick up dinner and he decided on wings. Luckily, this place runs wing specials on every Tuesday & Thursday for 65¢ wings. We got a 50 piece order to go with 2 large fries side orders. The wing flavors included an assortment of traditional hot, honey hot, garlic Parmesan, and lemon pepper--all of my favorite wing sauces & they did not disappoint. I couldn't really rank which was better than the other, because like I said, they are all typically my favorite wing flavors anyway. But for sure get the honey hot if you like a little bit of sweet with your spicy--it's a go. The only thing is don't expect for them to be super saucy like they look on the site, unless you ask for them that way. The fries were crinkle cut with some sort of seasoning over them; I'm not really sure because by the time I got to them they weren't as fresh but still good. Overall it was a good dinner choice & I definitely recommend trying them out. I may have a new wing spot to frequent every now and again. Btw, they have the good ranch, IYKYK! Always a super certain way to bump up your star scoring in my book lol.

probably the best tasting, non GMO vibe having wings in the jackson area. if you get weird about chicken wings being too big or just the size in general, this place is perfect. their chicken taste amazing & the size seems the size chicken wings are suppose to be. i came here with a friend on a saturday evening & we tried 4 different flavors. garlic parmesan 5/5, honey hot 5/5, kickin bourbon 3/5 & lemon pepper hot 4/5. the garlic parmesan legit taste like garlic parmesan & it was perfectly tossed in the right amount of sauce. honey hot was perfectly sweet & had a nice kick. the lemon pepper hot was disappointing, pretty dry. kickin bourbon was good if you like the slight taste of bourbon it was sweet n tangy.

But this one was just right for me. I feel like you could show up after a round of golf and it would be cool. That's as long as you don't have swamp ass, LOL. Inside is well lit and airy. There are lots of windows and it's quite comfortable. Our server was great. So good in fact, I have no recollection of them or the service. That's strange. Nothing. I can't even remember if they were male or female?!?!? I do however remember my food. We started with crab claws. They were darn tasty. Nice lemon flavor to the batter and the sauces were great accompaniments. Would recommend! For dinner I chose the Prime Chile Rubbed Flank Steak. Gosh damn was it good! Perfectly cooked, seared well, and still medium rare inside! The sauce was fantastic as well and the fresh cut Parmesan fries were a stupendous addition to the dish! I loved the whole damn thing!!! The spinach was quite unique and very good. It was like crispy sautéed of something. I must have made some noises that my dinner companion had to know about because he ate a couple slices of my steak after I was done. I thought about dessert but the boys didn't want to help so maybe next time!! I will come back here. I hope this meal was not a fluke!! I can't stop thinking about that damn steak!! '26 - 40

After a successful purchase and a hemorrhaging from my credit card, we opted to celebrate the occasion with a meal. And Lo and behold Table 100 was just across the street from where we were. Ambiance 4 Stars - as you walk into the establishment, you are transported back where the warm wood interior, cozy white table cloth tables or booths, high end bar drinks, and classy servers in their white or black attire are waiting to serve you. There plenty of tables and booths to seat a plentiful of patrons. And if you need a little bit more private, you can request a private room depending how many are in the party. 4.5 Stars - Service: our server, Andrew was wonderful, professional and has a great sense of humor. We bantered throughout our dinner but the conversation never crossed over to make anyone uncomfortable. He was observant of our needs and when to bring our next course. Our glasses stayed full with our beverage. 4.25 Stars - Food We ordered from the dinner menu instead of lunch due to our timing at 3:00. Let's just call it "Linner". Haha. 4 Stars - Grilled Swordfish- My wife ordered the dish and came with a decent size grilled swordfish fish, sauté spinach, creamed mash potatoes, and a beurre blanc sauce (lemon, butter and dry white wine). The swordfish was thick and moist; not dry at all. The beurre blanc balanced the bland spinach and the seasoned swordfish. The creamed potatoes were creamy, buttery's and not too salty. 3.75 Stars - Pan seared Redfish with cube fried potatoes, sauté green beans, beurre blanc sauce and top w a Chilean tomato salsa. The redfish was moist and tasty but I wish it had a little bit seared on it for a crunchy factor. The cubed potatoes were good but nothing to write about. The fresh sauté green beans could have a bit more garlic butter. 3.5 Stars Side dish: Deep Fried Brussel Sprouts. Hot, steamy and fresh. Has a slight crunch on the exterior leaves and was seasoned w a sprinkle of salt. 3.75 Dessert: Crème Brûlée and coffee. The crème brûlée crust was crunchy and the vanilla egg custard was good and smooth. It would have been better was a scoop of fresh whipped cream to go with the fresh fruit and crunchy layer. 5 Stars - French pressed Italian coffee. The coffee was a highlight of the dessert. It was hot, fresh, and strong. Just like an Italian coffee should be. It was between an espresso and caffe' Americano. Our, server, Andrew did a wonderful job on the coffee! I definitely recommend this place and we will be back. Don't forget to ask for Andrew, if he is available.

There were six in our party. We had a vast array of items, but I will review the ones that I have pictures of. I did not personally eat one of the duck empanadas, but the others at the table did and they all raved about them. I did enjoy a piece of the warm bread with the various dipping sauces. My husband bakes bread so I can be a bit of a snob about bread, but this bread was wonderful. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Our disappointment was they were out of cauliflower so we could not enjoy the Kung pao cauliflower. I had the rotisserie chicken with the sweet Thai chili sauce, the Thai green beans and the corn grits. The corn grits are moist and creamy. The Thai green beans are a fresh green bean that is sautéed perfectly. They still have a nice crunch to them. My husband enjoyed the shrimp and grits. He did not have one bad thing to say about them and cleaned his plate. Another friend had the ribs and rotisserie chicken combo and enjoyed them. Our friends who frequent this restaurant shared the almond shrimp. I will be getting that next time.l as I looked on with jealousy. We ended by sharing a giant piece of sweet potato bread pudding. They make it in the house. Do not pass this up, but be aware that it is a shareable dessert. Overall, our meal was fantastic and we look forward to returning
