Great Customer service from McKenzie I believe is how I spell her name. But she assisted me in the best possible way I could receive in getting these shipments sent. I've been to a different UPS where the customer service was just straight up trash. But this one was on point! Thanks for the help once again! read more

I've been coming to the UPS store this past year quite often. Whether it's for an amazon return, to print something, or to make photocopies, this location is pretty great. The ladies who work here are always super cool. Super welcoming and helpful. They all have great attitudes and always give me great service. It's never a hassle coming here. It's ALWAYS a GREAT experience. : ) read more

The staff is very fast and efficient and full of knowledge. They work very well as a team. I always have a great experience when I come in.

Best service and friendly, competent staff! Love using this UPS store for all my mailing needs. Lots of parking close to the store too which is a plus.:-) read more

Great for shipping but would not come here for scanning services again. They charge $1/page which is a lot more than other companies...

Do not make your keys here because they won't work and then the tall girl that works here will treat you like it's your fault. This woman is clearly unhappy here and it shows even when she tries to say the correct thing. Her straight unanimated non smiling face will blurt out an awkward "have a good day" as you walk out. I wouldn't have written this review if I wasn't treated like I was bothering her today even though, I got the overpriced copy here out of convenience and once it didn't work for my tenant had to come back and feel like I was troubling her day. My previous package interactions were just fine here in the past. read more

Lindsay and Melissa are the best !! I came in to send letters off for work in the middle of having a bad. Melissa was at the front at first and was so polite! Gave me an awesome greeting and really made me feel better! Lindsay came from the back after trying to help get my Apple Pay working! They got it working and got me out quick !! Thanks ladies ! You guys are awesome! Looking forward to coming back. read more

Ladies that work in here are extremely nice and professional! appreciate the service! Recommend x10!

The employees at the UPS drop off are very friendly, courteous and efficient. Parking is easy and is located in a mall where there is grocery shopping, a bank, Rite Aid, places to eat, and other places of businesses read more

Horrible customer service! I had a simple question over the phone and still ended up without an answer. The lady who picked up was so rude, if you dont want to talk or deal with people dont work in customer service! read more

I dont know why, maybe all of my experiences with pack and ship places or just me in general but i was anticipating for it to be a nightmare here. Melissa is like a conductor for a symphony. I was in and out in about 2 minutes and she helped 3 people with 3 different things in the time i was there. Wow. Thank you for making this painless. This will be my Go-To place for my UPS needs and anytime i need to drop off a package to USPS because everyone knows how the Post Office can get! Thank you Melissa, you've made my day!!! read more

I have been a regular customer at this store for 15+ years. Have always received EXCELLENT service until today. I was attempting to send a package out of state to a PO box address. Jorge was the person who I encountered at the counter. After making customers wait in line while he was arguing with a employee about selling to many stamps to a customer with the same rude, condescending tone he then precede to argue with me about the address I wanted to send the package to.. Note: I have sent numerous packages to the PO BOX for years from this store.. The area it goes to is extremely rural and the post office in the little town collects all the mail there where most of the residents then pick up... I walked out after being spoken to so rudely, and the co-worker he was reaming should file a complaint.. This Jorge is not the manger and if he has a problem with another employee he should speak to management about in instead of having customers wait in line until he was done with his tantrum ... read more

I love this store! It is run by great staff who are attentive, polite, and professional. I have been going to this store for over 10 years, to not only mail items, but to also pack and ship items, and gave also used their notary services. They always provide me all options for mailing so I can decide the way I want things to be sent. I have shipped fragile items, family keepsakes, and memorabilia and all have always arrived safely, without breakage! The 2 staff I have most interacted with are Lindsay and Melissa... they are great! This is a great store! read more

Great service. Was an in-warranty return through another company, clerk knew what to do, came up with work-around on the fly regarding label issues. Store well-kept, competent, friendly, caring staff. Would definitely drive a little further to use this store again, thank you! read more

Rude, unhelpful employees. I am thinking in particular of my experience with this UPS Store location in returning items to Amazon. I will definitely be using another way to return Amazon items in the future rather than taking them to this UPS Store Lake Balboa location. The UPS Store in Encino is much more helpful. read more

Came yesterday around 3 to return a package to Amazon fur my daughter. They are always quick and efficient here. The girl who helped me yesterday was especially helpful. I live close to a Mai box place in Tarzana, but not impressed with their service, so I drive here, because I've used them many times. Plenty of parking too! read more

Beautiful people work here! There so friendly and efficient. I did not mind paying the 3.00 shipping fee for return. Just because of there kindness! Thank you read more

Today, I came into this UPS store and it was the best experience I've had to date. Recently I've been shipping out a lot of items through another delivery company and I decided to use this UPS store instead. I usually spend a lot of time and money picking through the many different size boxes and buying packaging supplies. A big headache to say the least! However, at this UPS store I was helped by a lady named Candy. She was very helpful and properly packaged all my items to be shipped. And she was fast. She was very professional and her services were more than satisfactory. I'll definitely come back here to ship out any future products. I recommend this UPS store to anyone wanting quick and quality care for their shipping needs. Great Job! read more

I go out of my way to come to this UPS. I've never had a bad experience, and everyone is so helpful and informed. Today Mackenzie helped me and she just made it so easy. I was returning multiple items and had to send something separately. She did it in under 5 minutes and couldn't have been nicer. There was also someone else working there (today is 9/21). I forgot to get her name but she's helped me before and was also great. Not all UPS locations are created equal, and this one is the best in the valley! read more

These employees never stop working! I visit quite often and Mackenzie, Brian and Jorge are non-stop. I needed help with my copies. No problem. I needed a Notary. No problem. I needed to fax some paperwork. No problem. This is a one-stop facility! Great Job! read more

I needed to fax some documents to my bank, the lady was helpful and friendly. She helped me to correct the cover sheet to look more professional. Thanks read more

This UPS store is effficient, direct and to the point. Your triple A card gets you 5% discount. Lindsey and Candy seem to run a tight ship and compliment each other well. Lindsey is direct and to the point but doesnt lack empathy despite a comment I just read, I appreciate both these women to be honest. The numerous packages I have dropped off have been sent without issue. Candy is sweet something about her voice gets me everytime ha! I needs I needs. wish i could clone both of them and have them manage a certain restaurant i might own. I will be there tomorrow at 8am and plan on acting like i didnt write this review at all so if you want to meet me in person.. read more

The package I sent out never got to its destination and according to USPS it never left the store. Beware sending packages from here. And Lindsey (tall lady) isn't very cool or helpful. She's a downer. read more

Place is great and so are the girls who run the show. I get my mail there and I feel extra safe doing so ... just an extra eye of protection plus I get stamps, and other things done. Their are many services there, Notary Republic, Xerox machines, and anything related to shipping packages. The girls are both very nice: Lindsey and Angel. Ed Benson read more

Just came back from this store , Dropping off 2 little boxes with Gopro cameras , there was Melisa really nice customer service she take care of the cameras wrapping them up with bubble plastic and foam , really good store to shipping needs , I really recommend this place , always ask for Melissa. read more

Definitely do not recommend this particular store on Saticoy. The female counter person has a difficult, maddening personality. Type of person I would go out of my way to avoid. During in person visit, she made it seem all was well even though store internet was down, could not accept amazon returns. During call earlier today, she insisted she would likely charge for packaging and labeling even though amazon instructed to bring the item unwrapped, unlabeled to the ups store. New 100% she would be DIFFICULT so skipped this ups store and went to another one. The female counter staff should be given back office jobs and kept away from customers. read more

This is a great place. Really glad I discovered it. Lindsey was very helpful to me each time I came in. I'd recommend it to anyone. I spent 20 years in the restaurant business...so I know Customer Service. Lindsey and her staff deliver it. read more

Another barren UPS store. I couldn't believe how ugly the interior was, it was sparce and not placed well. The service was great though. Went in to return my ATT U-Verse boxes and the girl took them, got everything taken care of and had me out the store in 5 minutes. read more

The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - Van Nuys, California

If I could give no stars I would. The tall blonde that works there is incredibly rude and the worst attitude I've ever encountered. The other dumb one Melissa is just as rude and has no sense at all. Twice Melissa has messed up my outgoing mail. This second time was the worst though. I sent an important package out of state because I am moving to another state and it needed to go out asap. I sent it yesterday and Melissa was my cashier. I noticed today on the receipt that she got the delivery address wrong. When I called and spoke to her she admitted she got the address wrong but the package had already been picked up. She kept me on hold for the longest "claiming" she was speaking with the USPS about my package. She told me the package will just get returned to me. I told her that I already told her that and that I will already be living out of state by that time and that I have not done a change of address yet. She said that's the only way to fix it. And she kept calling me girlie even yesterday when she was cashing me out. I am a grown woman, 36 years of age. I told her this is unacceptable and asked to speak with the supervisor or manager. Melissa then states that the manager won't be there until Monday. I said so in other words my package is just going to be out there floating around? And Melissa's reply was "basically, yea". I then informed her that I am going to give their store a bad review and contact the BBB on them. She kept replying "ok" indicating she clearly didn't give a damn. This little heffa had ONE JOB and couldn't even get an address correct. Well she won't have her job by the time I'm done cause I am not letting her get away with this. I did nothing to deserve such terrible customer service. I am disgusted at her nasty disposition. She knew she messed up on the address and never once apologized. What kind of people are you hiring to work at your stores UPS...just any damn body??? Stay clear of this location. They don't care about their customers or their mess ups. read more

We have been going to this UPS store for a number of years. Most recently, we shipped a large number of Native American baskets, rugs, and masks to Chicago, a number of them very fragile. Lindsay did an incredible job of wrapping and packing them. She was also willing to hold the boxes for several days so they would be delivered after we got home rather than having them sit on our porch. Upon opening the boxes, everything was in perfect condition. I cannot say enough about the wonderful service Lindsay has given us over the years. I will be forever grateful. read more

I've been coming for over 8+ years now. The employees there are phenomenal. They never give you attitude and are always ready to help you with any kind of problem. They even help understand some of the labels for future reference. They're super organized, friendly, and work quickly. You can see that they love working with customers and have a big heart when it comes to helping them. I can only write so much, so I suggest you visit them and experience their kindness for yourself. read more
