I have been to post office location couple of times. Sometimes there is a long line, but it moves fast. In the mornings, line is usually not long. For customer service, I would say Rachel is the best. Both times I have been to this location. Rachel helped me and she is such a sweetheart, she is nice, friendly and patient. She takes her time and explain the process and how long it will take for items to be delivered. For parking, I would say it's easy to find a parking spot in the front. read more

I often visit the Post Office to send out packages. There are times where different locations are just more convenient for me while I am out. Visiting the Panorama City location isn't the most pleasant experience as their parking lot is off to the side, but at least there is a lot to park in. Sending packages out of country is a slight hassle for me and although I fill out the customs form the same each time. Different locations will tell me there is something missing. During one of my visits to this location I asked the clerk about my odd experiences at a different PO. They gave me the run down of what is correct and helped my experience become a pleasant and friendly one. This is the first time I'm writing a review. We went to the USPS in Panorama city twice the past week to ask help from the management because my kids and wife's green cards were lost and were going to different USPS in the past 2 weeks by checking the tracking numbers. We also have problems with the barcode change of address verification letter we received. Glendale USPS can't verify my 2 minor kids barcode and they were asking more proof which we don't have. We only have my kids passports since they just arrived from the Philippines. Raul the manager helped us with no problem . He just asked more documents from my wife and myself showing we used to live in panorama city. He was able to verify my kids barcode change of address with no hassle. Victor the other manager also helped us on the first day we went to USPS panorama city and was also so professional and so helpful with us. We were able to retrieve my wife's and 18 year old daughter's green cards from Raul the manager in 2 different dates we came. These guys professionalism are superb. Raul did an extra mile in helping us. Glendale USPS did not help us the way PANORAMA CITY USPS did to us. A simple and easy process on mailing out my wedding invitation. I wasn't sure how many stamps were needed so I came to this Post Office to mail them out. I came when they just open so there wasn't a lot of people. When I walked in there was no one in line so I was able to walk up to the worker. I told them I wasn't sure what stamps were needed and all she asked me was where I was sending them. She put 1 stamp on each envelope for me and basically put it in her bucket. This location is close to my house so it's my go-to post office. Never had any issues here. The line moves reasonably fast. Plenty of parking. There is a parking area (part of the strip mall) to the left of the post office that always has parking spots and is within a few steps. Was in here most recently and Ruby was super friendly and helpful so I have to give her a shout out. I had a handful of Christmas cards with wax seals so I asked her if they'd jam up the sorting machine. I had previously read that hand cancellation was advisable. Ruby was very patient and helpful with this issue. She went and asked and brought me extra stamps to purchase so she could process the letters separately. Big thanks to Ruby for making my transaction easy and pleasant. read more

I rarely come to post offices as it's such an inconvenience nowadays with 2-day shipping and same-day delivery, but because the mail(wo)man actually decided to do their job by NOT leaving my package at my front door I ended up coming over here. This US Post Office is nestled in a very bad neighborhood with lots of shady and homeless people walking aimlessly around the streets. Parking for this place is located in the plaza right behind it. Make sure you don't park in the designated Chase bank lot or you may get in trouble! Now my first complaint is the fact that my mail(wo)man never actually delivered my package despite the special instructions on my order that said that he/she needed to knock because THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEBODY HOME. And yet despite my specific instructions, when he/she visited my apartment and knocked maybe one time before giving up, I was left with an orange postcard saying nobody was home and that I could either have it redelivered or picked up at the post office... What's the point in writing special instructions if you're not even going to follow them... Since I didn't want to run into the same delivery fiasco again I decided to stop by the post office during a time that fit my work schedule. This post office is ALWAYS busy for some reason and I have never been in there without wasting at least a good 20 minutes. Towards the end of the day there were approximately 15-20 people in line and I knew I wouldn't be able to get my package before closing time. I went straight up to the window to ask if there was a separate line for package pick-ups and an employee (named Lam**a) rudely told me that there was only one line for everything... so I walked back to the very end of the line and waited in annoyance. A fellow coworker saw what had happened and approached me, saying that I should go back up to the counter and an employee would pick up my package from the back. I went back up there and Lam**a looked at me and said, "Oh yes, someone will help you now because another guy asked the same question." I thought there was only one line for everything? I guess I can't defend someone who very clearly hates doing her job. Please steer clear from this post office if possible. I have had much better customer service in other locations and at the very least have never been inconvenienced by them even with the special instructions on the packages. read more

I was presently surprised with the nice folks that assisted me with my package. The facility was clean and I was in and out quite quickly. One thing I would improve if I could was the parking situation. I had to park quite a ways away and walk some distance because all the parking next to the post office is reserved for the bank next door. I guess I needed some extra exercise today. read more

I just came from Panorama post office and need to post this hoping that more of us act when we see this for the sake of the community's safety. It's Christmas season, and the place was jammed packed. The lady in front of me goes to the next clerk for service, her phone rings, removes her mask in front of the clerk and carries on with her conversation, the clerk doesn't tell her that she needs to put her mask back on. I asked to speak to the supervisor and was told, as an excuse, that they can't refuse service to anyone, i made it clear that is not a matter of refusing service but keeping the minimum standard of safety for all of those there and even his employees. This place is unsafe because they don't want to remind their clients they have do their business with their faces covered. read more

I only go to this USPS Bc it's the nearest location by my house (walking distance) but the service is complete TRASH. The women here are so rude! I didn't have tape to tape a shipping label I printed out across the street. The guy where I printed my shipping label didn't want to give me tape either (another Yelp review I will be leaving @ his location) but he let me know USPS would be able to give me tape and put the shipping label in a pouch for me. The USPS lady was so mad I didn't bring the envelope taped up already. I informed her I didn't have tape and couldn't get some where I printed out the label. She ended up taping the shipping label, but she was so pissed off about it. Being a mail service, I would think part of their job is to assist you shipping your items. Also the waiting line is so long and they only have one person on the register. read more

I went in this morning to track a lost package that was mailed 3 weeks ago ...I was nearly yelled at by a senior employee ( Jeffrey ) while he was standing next to the manager on duty . I was told that my problem has to be solved by filing a complaint on the 800 number , not by following the instructions given to me on the letter mailed to my house telling me to go to the nearest post office! The 800 number that he gave was also incorrect! Looks like the package is just gone ....good luck dealing with the follow up on the 800 number !!! read more

I went in to mail a package and while there to pick up form for passport renewal. After filling out form I went to a different associate who informed me wasn't filled out correctly. She explained what to do and told me to skip any line and come back to her.When I returned I was told that there was a charge and wouldn't take credit card but debit was ok.Also was told needed a new photo and to go next door and inform them needed a photo only since same day Passport appointments not available. I stood in line afraid that I would be turned away but fortunately I was directed to another room and had photo taken and went back to same associate again bypassing line.After checking everything she gave me a receipt for the envelope and told me be about 12 weeks for new passport. I prepay for all my shipping labels online so I never have to wait. There always seems to be a line when I'm here. I simply walk in and drop off my packages at the counter. Even when they're swamped, they always manage to shoot over a smile acknowledging that I've dropped stuff off. This is a smaller location and they don't have one of those automated machines so you do have to wait in line to ship something or even to buy just a stamp. read more

Take your money and business elsewhere. I have been on the road, traveling across the country and stopped at this post office location to mail some souvenirs to my family. I paid good money to have them mailed to Florida and by the time it arrived to them, the package was dirty and open with the contents stolen. I am extremely upset and I tried calling the post office at least 5 times and they keep hanging up the phone on me. If you want to pay money to get your stuff stolen by people in the Postal service before it arrives to its destination, be my guest. I might as well have burned my money in a trash can. read more

i run a small business out of my home we had a problem with kids or gangs tearing down our mailboxes and i understood that they could not deliver the regular mail without an address. i believe in competition and have always instructed my customers to send parcels and other things essential to my business by usps to support the post office- what a mistake! I have contacted the manager charles several times and have gotten spotty delivery of parcels paid extra for to be delivered to my door normally . Now the mailboxes have been restored and i have contacted them again for relivery as running a business i have no time to run to the post office every day. I'm a habitual procrastinator and had to ship a gift to Sacramento for my little brother in Sacramento today. This being the week of Christmas I was expecting an outrageous line & an outrageous wait. While the line was tremendous, the wait was not. I stood in line for only about 5 minutes. The employee helped me chose my best shipping option & was very friendly despite the chaos around us. This is the WORST possible place to get merchandise shipped to you. I've had over $200 worth of stuff get lost or stolen by this post office. Their policy is "If it's stolen, Sorry". What kind of business are they running where they take no responsibility for items being lost. They leave your packages outside of the building for anyone walking by to easily take.
