I almost hate posting a review, because Pak & Ship All feels like one of my best-kept secrets. It's located in the corner of a crowded strip mall, right next to CSUN, but I think a lot of people just miss it, because it's in a corner on the side of the mini-mall. I use them all the time and I almost never have much of a wait when I go there. The staff -- I think it's a husband and wife team -- have never been anything less that super-friendly and courteous to me. If your kids are in-tow, they've got a mellow little dog that often hangs out with them at the shop that is very child friendly. It's one of the few places I know of where you can send stuff via USPS, FedEx or UPS, and they will often go the extra step to price out the difference for you. Very surprised to see the "1 star's", because this place is terrific! read more

What the hell!!! I went to PAK & Ship today to get my mail and they are completely closed! I had just paid my bill recently! They have my mail and they are closed! No notification no phone call no letter nothing! When I try to call their phone number it says that the mailbox isn't set up yet. I was told by a neighboring store that they borrowed their Dolly today, but didn't say where they were going! They have a large Check of mine! read more

Called ahead to find out if they did certified mail here. The gentleman on the phone said they did. So I head in and get started. I knew something weird was up when he wanted me to take a picture of the envelopes and said he would text me the tracking info later. Well, turns out they just take everything to the post office counter. They don't actually do mailing there. The cost to send three certified letters was over $50. Cost at the post office? Like $3ea. The guy was nice and ended up giving me a refund when I said I wanted my post back as I wasn't comfortable with this situation. They should be upfront about the process. The post office is 0.2 miles from this shop. I just went over there and got my mailing done. read more

Clearly the 5 star customer service reviews are friends/family and for once the negative reviews are right. I don't expect extraordinary customer service from a shipping place, but the woman that works here is unbearable. I tried to mail something that's USPS and instead of just saying we don't mail USPS she said, "I'm not going to go to the post office for you " then laughed -- Lady, I didn't ask you to go there for me. If you hate your job, just quit. It's not that difficult to socialize decently with the 4 or so people that come into your business a day. Anyway, take your business elsewhere. PS. Thieves! Pak & Scam All overcharge me by almost $70! Pak & Scam charged me a total of $130 to send a lightweight package through the USPS. Talked to USPS today they said that package should have cost me a total of $62. I understand Pak & Scam should charge a fee for handling packages, but charging $70 fee is outrageous, & for a package that i packed into my own box as well. Shame on you! read more

No stars but to have to give give one for Yelp! I was here to notarize and then walk across the street to get a book of stamps. I asked if the notary/owner sold stamps and he said yes. It was one stop shop! After I used some stamps then I find out there is a $5 fee added to the book. I could have just walked across the street to buy the stamps then pay him $5. He should disclose there is a fee and give the customer the option to pay or not!!! He is also nasty saying You asked for stamps and I provided. Bad customer service. Oh then he wanted us to fill out the book when that's the notary job. He ended up doing it when he found out the person was a notary and knows the rules! read more

Went to location to get "Oath and Public Certificate" notarized to send to County Clerk on 12/11/2020. On 12/12/20 I was preparing to send forms to the Norwalk Country Clerk. The Notary, Qadeer Azam, did not sign the form upon placing the stamp and embossment. Not only is this Notary misconduct and failing to discharge fully and faithfully the duties of a notary, this put me at risk for my paperwork to be declined at the country clerk and it's being sent back, forcing me to do the whole process again. Which has taken almost 6 months to do. This carelessness and lack of attention to detail leads to a domino effect of my commission being denied and losing employment. I will be lodging a formal complaint with the state of the misconduct. read more

Pak & Ship All is located on Reseda Blvd in a strip mall with many other businesses,with the problem being they all share the same address of 9420 but have an added number after the address, in this case #3. This means that your mail and packages have a good chance of being delivered to the wrong business within the complex. The owner even told me so when I had a package missing that according to the post office had been delivered. His attitude was that it was MY problem, blaming it on the postal service. After contacting the local post office, they verified again that the package has been delivered to that address, and they were able to tell because the postman scans the package upon delivery and it is assigned a GPS coordinate that is accurate within 6 feet. Once again I contacted Pak&Ship and was told they did not have the package. Finally after calls and emails to both the PO and P&S, 4 days after delivery P&S calls me an said we found your package. He said that he confused my name with another customer- which means that he initially did not bother to double check the shelves, or more likely gave it to the other person who discovered it wasn't theirs after opening it. The Amazon tape had been broken and the box was resealed. While he apologized and said "sorry," he didn't sound very sincere about it and even cut me off when I was explaining all the effort I had made to find the package, including 3 trips from Sylmar to Northridge/Porter Ranch when gas is over $6 a gallon. The couple that run the place are polite and nice enough, buy I have to question their competence. read more

All I wanted to do was to drop off an envelope with a prepaid UPS label. That's what UPS locations do right? Collect UPS packages to be picked up? Here's how it went down: Me: Hi, I just wanna drop this off. Lady: (looks at the label on the envelope) That will be one dollar. Me: One dollar? It's already paid. Lady: It says it on the wall. (points at a paper on the wall) Me: What's the dollar for? Lady: (gives me the dirtiest look) It says it on the wall. I just work here!! This is just ridiculous. Way to ruin my f%$#ing day. Yea, she might "just work here" but it's her responsibility as an employee to be able to answer questions like that. I'm NEVER coming here again. They didn't charge for dropping off packages before, but they're charging for it now. Is that even allowed?? If they actually had to do some work, I would understand the charge, but all they do is take it and slide it over to the pickup box! Avoid this place like the ebola. read more

While stopping for coffee on my way to my Dr.'s appointment, I saw this place and stopped in for stamps to get the rest of my christmas cards sent out. The owner was very nice. I have been going there for years. The customer service is amazing and they have all the services I need. Notary,Faxing, shipping. I always get my mail with a smile and a thank you. My time is worth way more to pay them a little bit extra to ship and get service immediately, than wait in the long lines at the post office or fed ex. Wonderful customer service-never lost any mail and I always get my packages. If something perishable is sent to them for me, they call me immediately to let me know its there. FED EX should not do business with this location! I was dropping off a package that included my cell phone that needed to be sent to Verizon. For obvious reasons, I wanted a receipt. The rude lady in the front, occupied by the paperwork on her desk, let me know they don't give receipts. She didn't just tell me this, she yelled this to me! As if I was offending her for asking her to work. How do you not give receipts. You can steal my phone and I'll never have proof I dropped it off. Very dishonest, rude, unprofessional customer service. To top it off, she said she is here "for my convenience." My next step is to report this business to Fed Ex because they are not appropriately doing business! Shady! read more

I stopped in just to drop off my package for UPS and they would not accept it because I was using my own account number. It is more or less a courtesy, but since they would not help me, I would not go back. I also got some rate quotes for shipping a package by UPS and they were so high it was unbelievable. What a relief. I have been putting off mailing a book back to amazon for sheer desire to not wait in a long line, have to find a box, basically was just being lazy and didn't wanna deal with it. Today I finally did however and it literally took me 5 minutes from parking my car and walking in. The man working, I assume owner, was friendly, nice, and helpful. I am not sure what the previous reviewer dealt with, he was fabulous and not only knew what papers went where and how amazon wants the label and other paper with the book, but also, the box was only 3 dollars and he packed it for me. There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about this place. It has been a lifesaver for me over the years. The owner and his wife are excellent and can do no wrong in my eyes. They have saved me hours and trouble mailing my packages and letters. The small fees they charge are nothing compared to the US Post Office where, if you get something wrong, you have to stand aside and correct it. The Postal employees won't help you and you have to wait while they help other customers. I always reccomend Mail Boxes Etc to people who need their services. And they have never been disappointed. 100% A +. read more

This place took advantage of my 18 year old son - he had to send a cell phone to his friend overnight from Northridge to Alabama and they told him it would be $160 - when he asked what the next cheaper option was they told him $80 but it wouldn't get there for three days - they used the smallest priority US mail which i KNOW cost $5.95 at ANY post office or at ANY supermarket that has a shopping center and they charged him $80 for the same size priority shipping box that would be normally 2 to 3 day delivery for 5.95. I certainly realize that businesses like this need to have a mark up charge for their service and convenience, but $80 is absurd and highway robbery for something that cost under $6 normally! Of course my son learned a lesson to never use a mailbox STORE again--unbelievable ! read more

I have been using their mail address services for over a year. The first year was great. No problems at all, but recently I had my package lost that was sent to Pak & Ship All. Azam is the business owner and he runs this place with his sister. My package was received and signed by Azam according to Fedex record. When I went to pick my package up, he told me that there was no package for me. I got a proof of signature from Fedex and showed it to him asking if that was his signature. He said it was his signature, then he changed his mind and said that it was not his signature and he had never received the package. I asked him if he had any insurance for stolen items from his store. He said no. He told me to file a claim with Fedex which I did, but it was denied because they confirmed that the signature was Azam's signature. Azam keeps saying that it wasn't his signature and is not willing to take any responsibilities. And I'm paying over $350 a year for their services to receive my mails and packages. My package was worth $170 so now I'm paying more like $520 for the services that I cannot count on. I can ask my neighbors to receive my packages for free and I can trust them more. Also they are open on Saturdays when they feel like although their store hours say Saturdays 10-4. I have driven all the way there to pick up my mails on Saturdays during their business hours and they were closed on several occasions. Make sure to call them before you go because they are very unprofessional about their business hours. I do like to support small businesses, but Pak & Ship All is completely unreliable. If you look around, you can find better mail address services with lower price, better services, and insurance for lost/stolen items. I would highly recommend taking your business to somewhere else. I already found a place that can send scanned copies of your mails to your e-mail address and that's included in the price that is much lower than $350 that I had to pay at Pak & Ship All. Needless to say that Pak & Ship All would not even use e-mails. I have never gotten any e-mail replies when I sent them e-mails. read more
