My son needed some back to school supplies and so Staples was our first stop (not going to lie, it was because of proximity more than anything else). I really appreciated that they had a bunch of back to school themed standees out with everything under the sun. And yet, we had to circle around it a few times to find everything (the cloth book covers really wanted to play hide & seek). It ended up being a great one stop shop that allowed for us to knock everything off of our list. And most items were on sale so we ended up paying way less than I had originally expected. Staff was friendly, but completely locked in to the check out counter. If you needed help finding something, you were on your own. I saw several people there who weren't there for school supplies going over every bit of aisle looking for something. I hope during other times of year when things aren't as busy for them they have more staff roaming around to help customers. So, if you are in need of office supplies, or school supplies (or hey, they even have a toy section because...sure?) this Staples is a great place to go where they should be able to get you everything you need for prices that won't break the bank. If you need anything printed or laminated do NOT go here! I had a very disappointing experience at this Staples location. The employees acted like they didn't want to work and were extremely rude and short when I asked for help. Printing a simple poster that should take about five minutes turned into being pushed to "come back another day," with no willingness to assist or expedite the order in any way. When I politely asked for help, I was basically refused. The lack of customer service and professionalism was frustrating and unacceptable. I printed 3 posters back to back in 3 days and every single employee behind the print counter behaves the same way. They are standing around and chatting instead of actually working! To top it off, they are more expensive than every other location. Office Depot, UPS, Fed Ex all do the same job and for much cheaper. This is why, businesses close down left and right because of lazy employees like them. read more

Super disappointed by the customer service. I called about transferring services and questions from the tech department. They kept me on hold for a long time and then told me they don't offer those services. It clearly says online that they do? When I questioned this this associate was quick to dismiss me and my needs. Very frustrating as these are supposed to be the places you go to go these questions. Not sure how to simply transfer my family photos from my computer, but left to find another option. Eric in the front register area to help direct who can best help me with what I was looking for, Daniel who went out of his way to help me find the right charger along with allowing me to see if the product was a fit. Daniel didn't just point me in the direction but he walked over; looked over & read a few products and explained to me why he felt it was a fit. He then explained the return policy. I visited the store today to purchase some storage containers. I felt that the manager on duty Patty lacked professionalism, empathy, and customer service. Why do I say empathy for a store like Staples because I had asked the gentleman at the front for the restroom and he hesitated since it's not something that's offered to the public, but then he proceeded to say I'll have someone open the door, the manager Patty went to the back. I greeted her and said good morning. She looked so disturbed so upset like she cannot be bothered to say good morning back to me. I said a second time and under her breath she said something good morning but she was pissed off. I had called my friend to see if they're coming because I really needed to use the restroom and she told my friend I'm on my way but this isnt a public restroom angrily. Located in the same parking lot as Walgreens & a 99 cents Store...there is plenty of parking spots available. I was looking for a new chair for my desk, so after looking around on Amazon, IKEA & Office Depot. I couldn't really find one that I felt comfy with...& in a world full of Zoom meetings, zoom classes, etc. You kinda need the best chair. It's absolutely wild that there are so few printing spots anymore and the one time we need something quick, they weren't able to fulfill. I get off work at 5pm daily and this is the only one near home. Takes me about 45 minutes to get home which isn't the point and you'll see why. We get here thinking we can get a single print done but boy were we wrong. I used to work at another retail printing company years ago and I remember how frustrating it got but never like this. Probably why most people preferred them too but anyway. We get here and the print department is pretty empty. We noticed the machines were all self serve with a card machine which was great. The young lady behind the counter seemed busy printing another job anyway so we decided to check out some of the self serve printers. I forgot that these printers don't take card stock so we ended up hopping in line anyway to get her to print for us. She was already helping another gentleman so we waited behind him. A couple stood behind us and then more people stood in line. We waited until the guy was done being helped and the worker said she'd be right with us. Finally it was our turn and she tells us that she can't print anything for us. lol excuse me? She just told us she would help us and now she couldn't. She told all of us that she can't take same day orders past 5 o'clock and that we can place the order but pick up the next day. It was actually absurd. We literally needed one black and white print, just two words on card stock. Takes like a minute to print and she said no. What a joke. We placed the order anyway and she showed us the preview of the portrait. We requested landscape and although it didn't show it in the preview, she checked the box for landscape and said she would make sure that it gets printed correctly. We paid and requested a text once it was done, in which she mentioned that it could even be done tonight after the other orders are done. Well, next day comes, we got the text, went to pick up, and of course, they messed up. It was an 11"x17" tiny text in the middle of the sheet, printed PORTRAIT. They had clear instructions and they didn't even follow it. How do people deal with this? We told her it was wrong and she said she'll fix it and reprint it. SHE DID IT ON THE SPOT AND IT TOOK LITERALLY 30 seconds. Why couldn't they do that the night before? Crazy. Wild. Probably company policy but still makes absolutely no sense. This place allowed me to get my printing done last minute, Christmas Eve! That part was great! The young lady who works at the print place is not helpful or friendly at all. She was rude to multiple customers while I was there, and to be honest, borderline racist. When a white man was asking for help, although she still wasn't really helpful, she was at least talking to him with a respectful tone. When I, an Asian American, or another lady, an African American, asked for help, she was rude, dismissive, and talked down to us. Because I was there for a while printing some Christmas gifts, I was able to witness her interactions with multiple people. What I know to be true is that she was rude to almost everyone. She also will not help you or really answer questions. So when people were struggling on the machines, she would just say, Staples could print it for you but for an extra charge. No one can help answer questions about using the machines and on multiple occasions, when people needed help with the system she would let them and me struggle and therefore we all ended up spending more money with the avoidable mishaps if she would just do her job. Another reason for the low rating is that there are things you can use like scissors or a cutter, but everything is either broken or not sharp, so then it actually just ends up ruining whatever project you are working on. I am thankful they were open, but the young lady working at the print place needs a course on customer service and really just kindness. read more

Well here is the problem. Every time I come here there is always one employee in the printing dept and there are always tons of customers coming in and She always has to split herself with me and 5 other of them. It takes a lot of time for me to get my business cards done. I really need a manager to hire another person to help this overworked individual. I saw on their website that they had the printing paper I wanted in stock at this location so I came here. Finding parking was simple because it's in a lot with a lot of parking spots. When you walk in, the place is very clean and organize along with a worker greeting you when you walk in. I don't think the aisle are label beside the number but it was simple enough for me to find what I was looking for. I saw that the price was different in store so when I went to pay at the register, I showed the cashier the price on their website through my phone and he adjusted it for me. This incident happened 7/27/23 5pm. I went to return my memory foam pillow from Amazon. I encountered the employee at the Amazon drop off section, Noah. He was malicious towards me for no reason other than just to inflict ill will. My pillow needed be folded up in order to put it in the box, when I told Noah this he became frustrated and said he doesn't know if he can accept this return because he said it wont fit it the box. I knew right away after this that he was lazy with an ill will. I had to inform him again that the pillow needs to be folded in order to fit and he kept declining, so I showed him myself by folding it and making it fit in the box. After showing him that it fits he maliciously told me to take my hand off the folded pillow( obviously when I take my hand off the folded pillow it's going to inflate and he knew this to use this against me), after I took my hand off the pillow and it inflated to its original form he denied me 100% and said he cannot accept this return because it didn't fit in the box and for me to go to UPS. After this treatment I immediately asked for a manager, but instead I got his coworker - an Asian girl with glasses who was able to fold the pillow up, tape it and fit it into the box. After this I asked the Asian girl what was Noah's name, and she declined to give it to me, so I had to look at Noah's name tag in order to get his name. This incident concluded with Noah telling me " Have a good day sir!" sarcastically with an unapologetic tone. I wonder what Noah did to other customers behind the managers back. I was so upset that I called Nestor the manager a couple hours later and told him the incident and also told corporate. This treatment received by Noah was out of pure ill will. I've attached a picture of Noah on the bottom of this review, I hope he gets fired. You cannot treat people like this, you might run into the wrong person who doesn't tolerate malicious service and will report it, that's me. This review is solely off of my experience in the printing department and for the above and beyond customer experience I received from Noah. With my wedding a few weeks away, I was panicking with my seating chart print outs and how we could come to a solution which wouldn't require a weeks out order. I already have the pvc print outs from a previous bride I purchased the template from, but I didn't realize how difficult it would be to put together. Silly me thought it was just a simple order. Honestly, god bless Noah. He was so personable, showed me how to arrange the format so that it would be perfectly printed, and overall helped me decide that printing out as posters would be the best solution overall. AND even giving me suggestions on how to attach them to the pvc. TRULY an above and beyond experience. While being there, he was so personable and kind to everyone coming in. Staples sent me two $10 gift cards and I really didn't need any supplies but its was FREE so I bought some pens and a Journal. The store also offers UPS services, printing, and other office services. I had to go print 4 shuttle tix for an event at the hollywood bowl bc I didn't have a printer at home. They told me 45 cents a minute on computer and 33 cents for each piece of paper. They were not at all helpful when I asked for help trying to figure out the process. Once I printed my tix I thought I was done but the timer was still on because no one helped me or told me how to end my session. The total was $10 for 4 pieces of paper!!! I had the best experience at this staples getting signage printed for my wedding. Valerie, Jerry, and Jessica seriously saved the day for me! I had a photobooth QR code printed on programs for my wedding (100 + copies) and mistakenly didn't check it before having it printed. I sadly didn't notice until the day I picked up my prints but they were SO helpful in making sure they could resolve the problem and get them reprinted for me with the correct information on it (QR code) and in a quick turnaround. I came in Saturday morning around 11am. Empty store. I needed to print out 2 UPS labels. I could not print out the public printer due to technical reasons, I asked the girl at the printing desk that the printer wasn't working if she could print it for me on her end. The young lady behind the desk was extremely helpful not only to me but to every customer. I needed her help several times as I stood at the computer designing the front and back of my business cards. Each time, she came over with a nice attitude and patiently showed me how to do it. I should be a fan - I dropped too much money in there last week! I use the Staples ARC refillable notebook system for my notes at work. It allows me to make notebooks whatever size I need them to be, and shift pages as time goes by. Their ARC supplies were adequate, but not as strong as I'd have liked. Could have used more variety in the refill pages section. I did pick up a new cover and oversized binder rings, which I needed. As it was raining outside, and I had time to spend, I wandered through the aisles. End caps featured some unique storage items, like distressed-look wooden bins and containers. Hidden away toward the back corner as far away from the cash wrap as possible were some options for "pretty" and fun desk accessories, appealing to working women like me with home-based offices. While not ready to totally re-do my space with the exotic, rich florals of Cynthia Rowley's selections, I could still appreciate the collection. Was totally surprised to find them in Staples! They also had a nice line of notebooks and accessories from Paperchase that I enjoyed seeing. I bought a set of cosmetics cases from that aisle, which I wasn't there to buy. The design and quality spoke to me, along with the memory of the cases at home starting to fray. Timing is everything! Then came "Poppin". Their bright desk accessories range from clipboards to magazine holders to in / out trays to pens, desk organizers, staplers, to do list pads, etc. Too much visual happiness in colors like lime green, coral, vivid pink, turquoise, white and more! While not quite in the full back corner, they were heading that direction. I've now spruced up my desk with a new mouse pad, "stuff" holder with silicone fingers, container for push pins and paperclips, acrylic ruler, and more. Am enjoying the color boost in the middle of winter. Liked the variety of good available. Wasn't crazy about how the colorful designs were relegated to a back corner. There was an expired sign on the Poppin merchandise for "Buy three / get fourth free". It was out of date, but still up on the rack. When I mentioned it to the cashier, he politely shrugged it off. "Oh yes, that's old. Sorry for any confusion." I should have asked to speak with the manager. With everything I bought from the line, they could have stood by the advertisement, even though someone forgot to take it down. That still bothers me. Overall, I would stop in to this location again. Staples seems to always have what we need, even in a pinch. The copying service is always helpful. The employees are gracious and go above and beyond sometimes and the managers are always helpful too. If you need to ever return anything, they are also helpful to see that your finances are adequately returned, even if ordered off of a website, and come into a physical store... as long as you have proof of a receipt. This establishment is always clean and organized. The shelves are always stocked, except when a crisis pandemic is happening, the toilet paper is zilch. read more
