Went to UPS Kingstowne Center Dr. to drop off Amazon return package. There was a long line for the…read moreservices around 3:30 PM. One of UPS associates ask if I drop off something and I said yes. Then, he said there was a scanner in the back and I've tried to scan the Amazon return QR code sheet and it did not work. So I've asked the guy for help. He looked at me once and kept writing something. Other people on the line said he should help me, but I was hesitant to go back to the my previous spot on the line because there were 5-6 people waiting on the line. Then I asked people if it's okay to stand back on the line and they said it's okay. THIS UPS CENTER ASSOCIATE WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO HELP CUSTOMERS DID NOT HELP AND PUT THEIR CUSTOMERS ON THE INCONVENIENT SPOT. Either they could say, "Please go back to your spot. Will help you in a minute." or "Can you accept his dropoff package?" Their scanner machine kiosk did not work, but their scanner on the counter worked. I think this UPS store was below par as Amazon Dropoff center. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I appreciate your follow-up on the issue. No one told me on that date to stay on the line. I stood up near the line and waited for direction and no one told me anything. I don't have trust in your workers, but at least you as an owner checked what happened and explained what happened in the store and shared what you heard from the employees and I appreciate that. So I will try to visit the store again when I have a chance. Updated my review as well. Thanks.

Employee let me know though the package was labeled UPS it was actually for the US Postal Service. However they would be glad to take it I appreciated this as now I didn't have to make another stop. I had to PAY MONEY to have this package held at a store because delivery to my house was delayed by…read moreweather. This turned out to be a waste, due to UPS' horrible phone policy and terrible customer service reps. Weather is one thing, but alter your service or hours on google so customers know what to expect. I have a time sensitive package to pick up, now late by more than a week because of weather, and called earlier in the day to ask about hours regarding the bad weather. The phone number listed is a 703 area code, but forwards to a general Customer service line. The customer service rep was snappy about me "calling the wrong number" and wouldn't forward me to the store. I left work early to rush over before the listed hours of 7pm and got to the store at 6:55pm to a sign that says "closed for weather, sorry for the inconvenience." Well this wasn't just ONE inconvenience, but THREE, all because of lazy service. After I collect my package, I will be switching all my personal deliveries to the post office, where at a minimum, I know I'll receive my packages appropriately. Lazy service makes me sick and I'd leave zero stars if I could.

I had an unusual thing happen when I shipped a return to an auto parts supplier and UPS delivered…read moreit back to my house. The tracking info from the original return says there is a delay which is weird. I went to the UPS Store in Lorton where I had done the return and they were no help. The informed me that they are a franchisee and not UPS. The customer service was completely absent. I would recommend using a different UPS Store than the Lorton location.
