Excellent customer service !! I stopped in here to drop off a package and was immediately greeted by Amir. The line moved super quickly!! Amir helped me get my package to the destination at the soonest and most economical. He was really friendly and helpful even at the end of the day! Awesome service if you're in the Old Town Alexandria area! read more

I booked a 1:30 pm appointment online a day in advance to acquire a mailbox. I show up at the appointed time and was told that the person who takes care of mailboxes was not in, and would be in "after 2 pm." I said that I had an appointment and both girls behind the counter said that appointments "were automated." What does that even mean, UPS? One of the girls gave me an attitude and the other didn't know what to do. I finally had to ask them to call the individual to let him know that I was waiting for him. I received a shrug and was told that he didn't answer. I waited 40 minutes and finally gave up. I don't know why this UPS gets such good reviews because every time I have used it, I am met with attitude or no one is there. My mistake for thinking this location could handle a mailbox request. read more

It was really crowded on a Friday late afternoon. I was able to scan what I needed to but when the machine I was using jammed twice, there was no staff available to assist. I could fix it the first time on my own but had to switch machines halfway through my job due to the jam. It was quite pricey too for the total of the scanning, in my opinion. I did appreciate one employee providing a box so I could organize my documents. Parking was pretty easy on a side street nearby. read more

This is the absolute BEST UPS store. Every single time I go there the staff members are friendly, helpful and fast. Whenever my husband and I visit we always leave saying, "that was a good experience." read more

We love this UPS store because the people there are always friendly and fast. We come here to ship items, get things notarized, and return Amazon purchases. read more

This is the worst customer service possible. The "it's not our problem" call UPS attitude. Previous owners were terrific. Current crew worthless. Avoid this store at all costs or go to Fedex a block away. read more

Came here to drop off my Amazon returns real quick! I called ahead of time because I had my dog with me and they let me bring in my dog. I was helped immediately and was on my way in no time! Overall very responsive and communicative reps! read more

Looking at Yelp, you will see that it's unusual for this kind of business to earn a good rating. Here, it's well deserved. Prompt, courteous, and helpful service. The manager (owner?) lets the staff do their jobs while taking the initiative to jump in when needed. You can tell by the way he answers questions and trains the staff that he's a great manager. read more

Amazing staff, tremendous customer service, and reliable. My wife and I needed to get several documents notarized and the folks here were tremendous. Highly recommend this unknown service over highly overpriced mobile notary services. read more

Needed to drop off an Amazon return and this was the closest venue. Nice little shop with quick, friendly staff. The shop is HIDING. You really need to know it's there because the signage is not at all obvious read more

I'd give 10 stars if I could; every staff member that works here is so friendly and pleasant - always. But this location is worthy of 10 stars because in addition to the amazing staff, the operations are so efficient and I appreciate that. I wish every business adopted this store's business practices. A smile goes a long way. Amazing service goes a long way. The little things go a long way! The world needs more of this in the business arena - and in general. read more

Wooow if I can give this place a 10 star I would. They are super friendly, knowledgeable and very patient. I honestly don't understand how calm they can be with so many other customer coming and being extremely rude to them. The two ladies are alway with the a smile from the beginning to the end every weekend This world is full of rude spoiled customer always taking to make the ups workrs day bad but they don't let no one stop them from getting the job done. read more

If there were 6 stars I would give it an extra. I spent 5 hours working with Amir and Aurora the outstanding owner and staff to produce a written and visual project. They bent over backwards to assist me and advise me on formatting, printing, producing a final product. They provide way more services than Amazon returns, post office boxes and mailing. They can meet any written of visual project needs even if it is a business card, brochure, books, or marketing and advertising materials. Amir's family also runs the UPS store in Vienna, Va...where I also received quick, outstanding service and guidance on how to produce my project. Thanks Amir and Aurora for helping me for several hours. Carolyn read more

I've got two UPS stores near me, but I go out of my way to patronize this shop. Excellent service, incredibly helpful and friendly, and FAST. Was about to pay $23 for 3-day delivery, when they noticed I could send it overnight for $12, so they saved me $10 up front. Can't recommend this place highly enough. read more

Employee nbr #290926 is always rushing me and speaking too fast. I've told him that I'm hearing impaired many times and he forgets every time ! I really MISS Sef and the other team! They were always friendly, welcoming and helpful!! read more

I am highly disappointed by my visit. They completely messed up my order. I wish I went have went to FedEx Office instead. They only reason why I didn't is because they Avoid this place for all your printing/binding services. read more

This store saved my life!! But really, I was experiencing a "when it rains it pours" situation, which happened to be prior to an out of state interview. Things that could go wrong, were going wrong for me. But when I arrived at this location, the staff was very helpful, prompt, and friendly. The template of my resume had gotten jumbled somewhere along my saving and sending process -- thank goodness for Sef, the manager, to help me fix it just in time!! And, I got the job! ;) read more

This is the most amazing business. In an era where customer service seems to have become a myth rather than reality, this store has reinvented small-town treatment of people. I've been in several times, to pick up packages that have been held for delivery and to ship items; if they're busy they acknowledge you, and then when you're up they treat you with incredible politeness and professionalism. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my transshipment needs, and even if there were another store closer to my location, it's worth it to go out of my way to do business here. read more

Probably the nicest people in a UPS store anywhere. It's always a pleasant experience

This was the first time for me to return an Amazon package via a UPS store. I found the closest one to me and it was such an easy pleasant experience. Usef (sorry spelling) & Collin were so nice & patient & enjoyable to work with. Lots of services available there and will definitely return. Thanks guys! read more

So glad to have a UPS closer than Crystal City. Each time I've gone, all employees were warm and friendly AND fast and efficient. A winning combo. Despite the construction nearby, so far, I haven't had any issues with street parking either. Try them out! read more

Wow! What an incredible experience I was so impressed I immediately went to my car to post a review to ensure I wouldn't forget to give credit to this amazing location. From the moment I arrived the manager Sef opened the door for me and helped me carry my boxes in. Then I was greeted by Senia who helped me through my transaction. I have been to many UPS stores and I have never experienced such an incredible team. Truly a 5 star experience. To the team at this location keep shinning your lights I promise you are bringing joy to every single person you encounter. Sef you are doing an amazing job as a leader the care you take to your team that I witnessed in my single visit is something so rare to see in management. The employees shared their appreciation for you and the opportunity to look forward to coming to work where they feel valued and appreciated. This family owned store deserves an award for the best in the business! read more

I arrived with my car filled with large pack and ship items, then checked inside with Manny behind the counter to make sure I could use the back door to unload everything. I returned to my locked car only to discover a dead fob with an uncooperative key. Manny was beyond patient and helpful, schlepping most of my stuff inside after helping me sort out the car issue. He was also diligent and thorough in finding me the least expensive options to pack and ship everything, and had my transaction completed efficiently and quickly. LIke everything else, shipping costs have gone up, which makes convenience, reliability and good service increasingly important. This locally owned store offers that in spades. I'm very appreciative of the professional staff who go above and beyond and delighted to have found my new UPS store. Thanks Manny. read more

I never knew I could have such a fantastic experience with shipping, but this UPS store is locally owned and provides above-and-beyond customer service. Amir and his team are so kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. I visited Amir a few times while I shipped packages across the country in preparation to move, and he was so helpful and had good advice about how to pack and ship in the most cost-effective way. read more

So convenient in North Old Town and the people that work there have great customer service. They make me smile every time I'm in there

Use to love this store and was right around the block from us. We are in SC and needed our work computer shipped for us. Our friend took it here to be packed and shipped for "next day" Delivery. We spent $270 for this. Only to find out that on Monday when looking up tracking nothing was showing up. They did not tell Our friend next day delivery for Sunday would NOT ship out until Monday night- so they charged her the rate without disclosing this and charged us ultimately way more $$. We called Monday and the girl on the phone was literally useless. Could not find our package we paid $270 to have shipped overnight! Talked to the girl that actually was handed the computer, literally handed it to pack and she as well had no idea what happened to it. Furthermore no manager was there to deal with this. Finally we got called back as they "found" this $270 package still at their facility. Not sent out for next day nor disclosed. The manager called us back and said we had to put a claim into corporate to get refunded for their miscommunication or rather non disclosing it would not be next day albeit charging us for it. Further more the manager called our friend who had sent this package to us and berated her and asked her to calm us down after she said she was not told that it would not be delivered next day. We had a reason to be irate because we went for literally 6 hours not knowing where a $270 package was and a $1000 work computer (and his staff had it there the whole time!!) how embarrassing and . So unprofessional!!! SMH. I'm so disappointed because I use to use these guys all the time but after this I will never be back. I can t believe a manager instead of diffusing the situation himself (ie a manager) would call and read more

These folks are FANTASTIC!! Whether it's help with the door, watch your bikeshare bike, or help you out with packaging, the team at this UPS Store location will do whatever they can to ensure that you have a positive shipping experience. I know that sounds ridiculous, but it's true and oddly makes all the difference. Because the brothers that run this place are so great, I choose to ship UPS over others every time--they deserve the business in this world of such impersonal transactions. read more

I had the most helpful young lady Daniela to help me send my packages off. I came unprepared and didn't have the correct boxes to ship my items back to their respective warehouses. She was very friendly, patient and super helpful while helping me to chose the right packaging. She maintained great eye contact and communication with me. She made the process very smooth and her customer service was A1. I highly recommend this UPS store. Even the gentleman that worked in the store was very helpful and kind too! I highly recommend this store for your UPS needs. read more

The staff are great, personable, and so good, that I live closer to two different locations, and still come to this one because they are so cool. The Del Ray and West St. in Alexandria, VA have owners that seem to be in foul moods all the time, and employees, who are helpful, but walk around like drones, but not at the First St. locale-do yourself a favor and give them a try. Guys are super funny and very helpful. Went in there wandering around and they helped me find exactly what I needed

A very convenient and stress-free option for sending packages. I had two good experiences shipping guitar amplifiers. The employees were courteous, the prices are reasonable, and there's usually parking available out in front of the store, which can be challenging in Old Town. You can also buy stamps and drop off items to send via USPS, if needed. This will be my go-to shipping store from now on! read more
