I had a brief but really positive experience with Old Town Editions recently. After my father passed, my uncle sent me this really cool black and white photo of him that I wanted to blow up and frame. However, it was a picture of a picture. I got it professionally retouched in hopes that I could have it enlarged and framed, gallery-style in my home. I tried to upload it on an app, but the feedback there was just that the largest possible dimension while still maintaining a high level of quality was still fairly small. The issue was, I don't really understand these things and just wanted to speak with a human to explore options. So I reached out to Old Town Editions via email and they were so responsive and helpful. They actually provided me with specific information as to why there may be limitations and suggested some other options to explore. Their thorough breakdown and their willingness just to help, is exactly why I plan to return - whether it's this project or another. Their expertise is evident and it's just nice to be able to work directly with a person to navigate a project like this. Appreciate this business and their spirit to help and serve! read more

We absolutely loved working with the Old Town Editions team to scan and reproduce a beloved piece of artwork. We were new to this process but Clara and Rachel took great care of us and our artwork. Old Town Editions will be the only people we ever work with in the future! read more

Several people highly recommended Old Town Editions, and they did not disappoint. They are very organized and take time to explain the process. I gave them three watercolors to scan and the digital files look beautiful. I look forward to working with them again. I'm an amateur so I was actually a little intimidated to use them, but they are courteous and helpful. I had used someone else for digital files of my watercolors and was a little disappointed with the images, so I showed Rachel and she explained their process. I was confident that I would get images closer to my original, and it turned out great. read more

Fantastic work and such wonderful staff. I was coming from out of town to do a community art project and these folks are the BEST!

I've been using this business for a year now to photograph my paintings and it's been a fantastic experience. They provide high quality images/files and fantastic customer service. I truly appreciate having someone I can trust to, not only deliver high quality images that are necessary for my business, but to take good care of my artwork during the process. read more

This is one of the most professional shops you will find. While they are not cheap it is worth every penny you spend to have them do your work, as they are the best. I have been working with them for over 8 years on a continuing project and the results are always stellar. The quality of the color reproduction is top notch. read more

We cannot recommend Old Town Editions too highly...we/I have been working with them literally for decades for all out exhibition work and they simply are the best. I have nothing but great things to say about Old Town Editions. I had previously tried to use an online service to save a little money and what a waste. Can't beat the customer service and quick turn around of OTE, I will definitely be using them for future printing needs and will be recommending them to friends. read more

Old Town Editions has been my choice for scanning and fine art reproductions for several years. Very high quality and easy to work with.

Old Town Editions recently restored oval antique photographs that have been in my family since the 1800s. Megan Cook provided excellent guidance and customer service. I highly recommend Old Town Editions and will definitely use them again. read more

Old Town Editions scanned and produced giclee prints of an acrylic painting. The colors in the prints are exactly as they appear in the original painting, beautiful and vibrant. I highly recommend Old Town Editions. read more

Don't go here--it's basically a scam. I asked how much it would be to enlarge an old photo to make a single 4 x6, and they quoted me around $200 (and even then, the woman seemed to be hesitating with agreeing to that amount). Advanced Photo, a few miles away, quoted me $20 or less. Old Town Editions is a rip-off. read more

Popped in today to get an idea what it would cost to have several of my 11X14 acrylic paintings digitized. Met with Jordan. Very nice, explained the procedures well. Professional shop, multiple large Canon printers along South wall, clean workspace, open and inviting. Their price to "prep" each piece is $200. Then after they have prepped each piece, it's an additional $60 to "capture" the image. So, for all thirty pieces of my art...it would cost me $7,800. Call me crazy, but a struggling new artist cannot afford that. Choosing 'one star' due to price alone. read more

We used Old Town Editions twice for giclee prints of two paintings and then two prints. The results were stupendous. We needed to display one of the paintings and we used the giclee copy. No one knew the difference. The color rendition on one of the paintings actually came out somewhat better than the original. The people at Old Town Editions were a pleasure to deal with. They were responsive to our time requirements (which were not very onerous). They arranged to ship the second set we left with them. The ability to do these copies was a lifesaver for us. One of the paintings was something everyone in our family wanted. The availability of high quality copies made everyone happy. We were even able to get copies at a reduced size, which fit the needs and space availability for several family members. In all, I think we made 15 or so copies of the one key painting. The cost of additional copies is quite reasonable. We went back to Old Town for work that we needed in Boston, rather than taking the originals to Boston and finding a copier their. Old Town had proven its worth. read more

I have used OTE for printing a lot of my artwork. I do digital illustration, and they make it easy to send my work to them through file transfer, and then pick it up. Usually it is small prints on paper. I have done a large scale 54 inch by 50 print on canvas and put on a stretcher they built. Their work and printing is always high quality- 5 star - top notch!! They have also done image capture of a large hand sewn quilt. Again. Perfect quality. Quality art prints. Come here. read more

Recently inherited seven tintypes and one moldy photograph. I wanted to preserve the information in them before passing them on to my heirs. Old Town Editions did a great job in fixing the problems in the photographs, scanning them into a couple digital formats. and printing them. Based on their work on these items, I'd have great faith in their workmanship in all of their services. read more

I had this team put on canvas a 36 year old wedding picture for our anniversary. The final work was fantastic. From a faded original they were able to pull out lace detail on my wife's dress that I forgot was there. Absolutely great customer service from the beginning of the project to the end. Jordon explained the process and asked for my opinion as he developed the product. My wife's reaction when I gave the picture to her was tears of joy. We thought the picture couldn't be saved but now we have a copy on our wall that always remind us of our beautiful wedding day and how young we were. read more

Tried OTE for the first time recently and was very satisfied with their work. I had large 22 x 30 watercolor paintings digitized for reproduction purposes. It was $60 each, which seems about what you pay for that service. The quality was very good, and I would definitely use them again. read more

Old Town Editions has been incredibly helpful and great to work with. I've been painting for over 30 years but I've recently started making limited edition prints. Pat took lots of time to help me understand the print world as a beginner, and I rely on his advice. The quality of their prints far exceeded my expectations, and they completed the prints in a very timely fashion. Pat was also very helpful in coaching me about how to work with vendors who would carry my work. Creating high-quality limited edition prints is not cheap, but the quality does justice to the artwork and is essential in being able to sell the prints. I'm looking forward to having them prepare more of my paintings as prints. I highly recommend them without hesitation. read more
