I am being generous with a 2-star review, only because I have had some acceptable service at this store previously. But communication and clarity is a big problem with the staff at this location. I get there with a box to return (Amazon purchase). Nobody else in line but one person at each of the two stations. One of them says to me "If you're dropping off, you can leave it over there." I put it where he pointed and then I asked another guy there what else needs to be done. He said they would take care of it. "But what about the paperwork?" I ask. He apologized when he realized it wasn't a pre-labeled package. I explained that I had tried unsuccessfully to print the mailing label. He asked me to forward the email to their store. I did. He printed it out from their computer and started to tape it onto the box. Then the first guy shouts out to me "Do you have a dollar?" By this point, there was a long line of customers. I was confused. He said it was a dollar to print the label. He then added "This is for your convenience." I quietly muttered "It would have been convenient to know there was a charge before you did that." He asked me to repeat myself. So I did, just a little louder. He proceeded to process a $1 charge on my credit card. I explained that I would be mentioning this in my Yelp review. He seemed to not care, as though he was used to negative reviews. And thus I am writing this...for their convenience. ;-) read more

ZERO STARS. Today I watched an elderly woman come into the store. She had her very disabled son with her. I was appalled at how rude the store manager Miguel spoke to her. After she left, the manager and these mean employees laughed and made fun of the woman and her son. That Manager Miguel has serious issues. I will never go back. read more

I have not used this location. From now on it is my primary! Staff went above and beyond helping each customer. They were knowledgeable and friendly. The manager, Miguel interacted with a very difficult customer and never became confrontational. He remained calm and committed to protecting everyone in the store. This UPS store is pretty awful. The staff appear friendly and outgoing however, they are blatantly dishonest. They have twice lied about the cost of packing and shipping over the phone, then severely raised the price when I got to the store. Beware they'll pack and ship in the most expensive way possible unless you call them on it. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the items I shipped were packed well. As for the prices, I've learned my lesson. read more

Love this place! I had to send a really delicate & expensive hand made necklace to Mexico for a Mothers Day gift and was super nervous about it. I had the worst transaction of my adult life in this location with Miguel. Miguel was outraged that I would not give him my business phone number and email prior to shipping out my small package and told him to use the business address on the label in case of a needed return. After being berated about me not knowing how shipping works (he couldn't be aware of my decade buying and selling items on ebay, but whatever), he kept saying, "This isn't USPS". He must have said that ten times. At one point during the transaction he yelled instructions to the entire store about drop-offs while interacting with me, basically yelling in my face. I had never had any staff member at any type of store do something like this and felt he did it to "punish me" for not providing him my personal and business info. After suffering through the interaction with him, he shows me my outgoing package and says he wanted me to see it, "Because I know you can't remember what it looks like." I will never walk into this UPS location again because of Miguel and would recommend others avoid it as well. Miguel seemed quick to anger, showed excessive passive aggressiveness if not outright aggressiveness, and was borderline unhinged during my time in the store. This included making a few out of place comments with the woman in line in front of me. Bad, bad, bad experience. read more

As a Notary Public in Santa Cruz County I am shipping packages out to Lenders on a daily basis. I get calls for mobile Notary services that I can't always accommodate. I feel confident recommending a trip to this UPS store because of my positive happy to help me quickly experience with these folks I am now recommending my overflow Notary work to them. I go out of my way to ship from this location since my experience with other locations in this County hasn't been all the best. So happy they are here and opened another UPS drop off in this County. If I could give an 1/8 star I would. I've been to this location multiple times. The last time I was there the staff was rude. They made me wait while they ate candy. Next I was given a price of $50 to mail a pair of shoes. I said that seemed high and the clerk said " I'm not making the prices up". As I left to find another store I got comments from all clerks of " good luck" . What a@@=/!. Well I went to the USPS office and mailed the package for $18 This was faster,and the customer service was good. I won't be back and they suck. read more

These guys are fantastic! They consistently go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure their customers are as satisfied as possible. I got my LiveScan receipt copies stolen from my car, and they not only got me my A.T.I. but also were able to email me a copy of my receipt. This was extra impressive because they do tons of finger printings a day, and I had gotten mine done the year prior! Would absolutely recommend this UPS location above all others. read more

I've used this store for quite a while now without any problems and the staff has been nice and helpful thus far, however what has happened to me recently has broken all trust with this store as well as the UPS brand. I recently came in to send a package to my godson who was leaving for his first year in college. The package i sent had just a few trinkets in it but also had a $500 gift/cash card inside. When I asked about insurance, I let it slip (my fault) that there was a gift card of substantial value inside. Since the guys at the counter seemed very nice and helpful, I felt comfortable sending the package with only the $100 maximum insurance they offered. After a week of not hearing from my godson that he received the package, I looked up the tracking number and saw this as the status, "All merchandise missing, empty carton was discarded. UPS will notify the sender with details of the damage." Not only does this lead me to suspect foul play by the employees at this location, but I've also yet to be contacted by UPS on this incident and if I hadn't followed up on this package, I doubt would have ever known what had happened. This experience has been permanent trustbuster with this store and the UPS brand. Beware of sending anything of value from this store. UPDATE 9/23/2017: I reached out to the owner as per his offer to help out. Its been 2 weeks and I've yet to hear anything back from him. Pretty obvious he's just concerned with damage control on his yelp rating. Please don't offer to help if you don't plan to follow through. Also still nothing from UPS in regards to insurance claim on my package. Fairly apparent their insurance policy means very little if you actually have to report a claim. Switching to FedEx. Hopefully they do a better job. read more

I have used this store at least 5 different times and I can't say enough nice things about the staff and the store. Only once did I have to wait in line for a bit but they processed everyone as fast as they could. Today they went out of their way to help me return a package. It was a bit confusing about what service was going to give me the cheapest mailing price but they helped me figure it out and even when we thought it was FedX they still helped. Turned out it was USPS and they were able to process that. My only request is that they would offer live scan fingerprinting. Many UPS stores do and I recently had to get fingerprinted for my work and the closest place was San Jose. Thanks for the good job. read more

This is the best *BEST* best UPS location in the area! I frequently mail (and return) things for myself personally as well as for two businesses. I've been to every UPS in the county from Los Gatos to Watsonville and this one is absolutely the tops. I now try to arrange it so I only come to this one because the experience here exceeds every other location in every regard, seriously. They're ALWAYS friendly and helpful (...what?! YES! It is SOOOOO refreshing: persons in client relation/service actually being helpful with a genuine smile!). Even when it's quite busy they always greet you immediately and they work together so efficiently that the wait is minimal, even when it's nuts. Every time I've come here the owner and employees have been smiling, friendly and fun yet still professional, they've been patient, they've been helpful and they possess wonderful attitudes while working together to get you in and out as quickly as possible. The most helpful and easy process to get my shipment label printed, packed and shipped, within minutes. I was in and out in 15 minutes, and walked in with nothing but what I wanted to ship. I was so impressed with the service that I promised to write a good review, as this is a newer location and the gentleman that helped me (who also owns this UPS store) was so friendly, I couldn't not give him a raving review.
