The person behind the counter was great. I paid for early delivery which did not happen due to the issue with the driver on the other end. Filing for a refund was a hassle so be aware what they sell you may not be what you receive. read more

Absolutely abysmal service. From the very start, the employee at the desk was defensive and highly condescending. We had gone to find a package that could not be delivered to our residence an hour away. After informing her of our situation and showing her the tracking history, she snidely remarked that it had been a month since the package was held, and belittled us for not knowing we only had five days to retrieve the package at this location earlier this month. She was not helpful in the slightest, only giving us vague answers and becoming increasingly more condescending the more we pressed for actual elaboration and assistance. Avoid this FedEX location as best you can. Their customer service is nonexistent, and I sincerely hope this employee is moved to a different department where she does not have to deal with customers. This has happened to me before...a text or email saying that they "MADE AN ATTEMPT". no....they didn't. Wasted time all day at home waiting for the delivery. Not one Fedex truck passed my house. PLEASE DON'T LIE DRIVERS, I would have. more respect for you if you were to just say you are too busy with other packages! My delivery did not even require a signature! I paid extra for a health care package to be delivered , priority 1 day delivery , and when the package was picked up from a SC downtown location , at a reasonable hr, the driver took it to the soquel warehouse, where apparently , according to the customer service rep that power was out and could not be delivered as scheduled, so will arrive the following next day , that is two Days from what I paid for, I've been tracking it , and it's now sitting in the Oakland location since 12 noon , it's only going to S F, and it's not moving . I asked about a refund , he stated that once the pkg arrives, then they can address it, looks like it will be delivered by tomorrow, between 7:30-11, two days from priority shipping .I will never use FED EX AGAIN! I could have driven it up to Sf myself being that it's clear skies today, there is no excuse , roads are open traffic is moving, and they can't get it to the recipient just across the bay? read more

So for the 3rd time we have gotten a package delivered to us thats not ours. The first time I delivered it the recipient up the street. The 2nd time it was a neighbors so we went upstairs to deliver it. This time my wife looks at it and its not ours and yells at the delivery driver. He ignores her and runs back to truck and leaves. My wife tells me as she picks me up heading out for 4 day vacation. I call Fed Ex to tell them our address and that a package was delivered to us but doesn't belong to us. He asks me for tracking number and tell him I'm 2 hrs away from home going out of town. He insisted I get tracking number told him I wasn't turning around to get him the tracking number. I told him the package won't last there for the weekend. He said he can't do anything bout it without tracking number. He can't call a driver on his route in area to drive over and pick it up? Fed Ex needs to SERIOUSLY re-work their phone tree system. Looked up the local fed ex address & phone number to contact, and the local number re-routed me to a general customer service call center. I told them I just wanted to talk to someone at my local pick up store, so they took my tracking # and put me on hold. Then ended up BACK at the call center with someone else. Gave them the same info, but was getting a little irritated. She put me on hold, and transferred me back to the start of the freaking phone tree. Ugh. So I request an operator through the automated menu again, get the call center, and they say they can't put me through because the branch is now closed. Seriously, wtf. read more

Tried to pick up a package today and the woman working the front desk was horrifically rude and unhelpful. She couldn't help me locate my package even with the door tag number and wouldn't bother to do anything to try to help. She was going to send me to Watsonville and when I asked if she could call to see if they had it she told me I could call the 1-800 number. Turns out it was down the street at another fedex office but apparently she didn't think to send me there or call or DO ANYTHING remotely customer service oriented to assist me. My biggest regret was not getting the name of the upstanding gentlemen who helped us when we picked up our TV. My fiancé and I were bummed that we didn't get it delivered to our home address despite being there all day, so we had to make the drive down from Watsonville to pick it up, but once we walked through those doors we were immediately greeted with the warmest smile despite the gentlemen being preoccupied with other guests. The wait was not bad at all, and before we knew it we where out the door with our new TV. All the while he was making us laugh and just generally had a good attitude about him! He asked us if we need help carrying it out but we were ok. Outside while I was pulling down my back seats he went as far as rushing out to us to make sure we were ok! I meant to leave this review but time has slipped by me! If anyone knows the name of this man please let me know so I can update this review! Great experience today with a FedEx driver named Donny. He came to drop of my package earlier today, and remembered he didn't catch me yesterday for the delivery. After introducing himself he even offered carry the package up the fight of stairs to my apartment door, as I was in the parking lot with my dog on the leash. I really appreciated his sense of customer service... it's very rare these days. Kudos to Donny! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The driver did not scan my package onto his/ her truck and so when I called asking for it, they said it was still at this shipping center. I arrive to the shipping center where they cannot contact the drivers to see which has my package. This package was important to me but it obviously wasn't important to them and I encourage others to utilize different methods for their shipping needs. I asked what kind of reprimand the driver would receive and was told they would "follow up with him" as he is more than two hours late from scheduled delivery as well as did not scan my package onto the truck. read more

Went there a few days after christmas so I could ship back a textbook that I had rented. I didn't bring a box to ship it back since I figured I'd just buy one there. No big deal. However, the lady who helped me so was so sweet. She took her time looking for a box then even went in the back to see if they had something that would fit better / be more cost effective. In the end, she ended up giving me a box that had supplies that was no longer needed and let me use that to ship! It was so kind and sweet of her. I ship ground alot and have found only fedex pays on insurance claims. Compared to especially evil ups who did not pay on a 1 karat emerald loss even though i had bought 20k coverage for the bracelet( i was consigning it to a jeweler in florida who sends out a catalog).Fedex has been beyond great in 7 years of my having an ebay store. The help at this location are really really nice and very competent and even with a price increase Fedex( especially with over 450 insurance) is usually cheaper than us postal service . read more

Do not go without your door tag number. They cannot locate you by name. They "literally have thousands of packages behind the door" How do I know ? bBecause they felt the need to repeat this phrase at least 5 times no matter what question (related or unrelated to my specific package) I asked them. One would think that Fed Ex would prioritize delivery when the box clearly states "live Fish" Well, they did not. We were told it would be there by 10:30. After our first call 12ish, they said it was on the truck at 11:00 and should be there any time. Another call (full of total BS) it got there at 3:15! Delivery guy said "Live fish, hope they are alive" So, in a nut shell, he drove around with our order for 4.5 hours when we were 1.9 miles away. Half the order was dead, And "Dori" is touch and go!
