I had not yet printed out my return label and was dreading the computer, opening up my email, all that stuff. The gentleman asked if I had an iPhone, I pulled up my return label, screenshot it, airdropped to his phone, label was printed. AVOID this location. The workers are slow as snails. I came in around 4pm on a weekday, returning a big heavy package. There are usually only 2 people working, one is a young guy and the other is an older guy. The young guy is SO SLOW, everytime I come here, he never greeted any customers and pretends we don't exist! Anyways, so I wanted to return the heavy package, the young guy saw me struggling to get the package into the store, didn't greet me or help me with the package. He was doing "something" on the counter, while the older guy was helping a customer. As I was waiting, more people started to come in behind me, waiting also. The older guy told the young guy "stop doing these things and help the customer!" When it was my turn, the young saw me struggling to get the package on the scale, did not offer to help and just stood there like a rock. So I slammed the package on the scale, then all he said was "hey just be careful with the scale". Wow, what a great customer service there. I hate going here but it's the closest to my house. I had the benefit of the doubt that maybe they changed workers but NO. These workers are terrible with communication and customer service, from the beginning to the end. It says they open at 9, I drove all the way there, got there at 9:15- people are waiting outside. I wait a few minutes, call the store, no one showing up. Then I drive home. At 9:26 I get a call from ups, they just arrived. Almost a whole half hour late. The workers are also pretty slow movers here and are rather grumpy. I've been to this UPS Store quite a bit over the years. It's a love/hate relationship. I love that it's the closest UPS Store to my house, but man, does it hurt to acknowledge a customer walking into an empty store? My husband and I came to drop off two packages around 4:50. They do close at 5:00, but our returns were just drops off, nothing insane. We walked in to an empty store and there were two associates in the store. Both looked at us, neither said a single thing to us. My husband had a big box over his shoulder and they just stared at him, continuing their task at hand. I don't mind waiting, but a simple, "We'll be with you in a moment" would have gone an extremely long way. The person who assisted us looked unhappily at the box my husband put down first and curtly asked him questions. My husband answered it was just a return to Amazon. The whole transaction was less than a minute or two. Now, that being said, I have had similar experiences in the past. But once I get help, usually one of the associates is really nice and helpful. But it sours the experience at the beginning of it and taints the rest of it. The other closest location to me (Almaden) is much better but it's just parking that sucks. read more

This is the slowest UPS store I've ever been to. Every single time I come here, there is 1 person working who is as slow as molasses. There is usually a line to the door, and takes 15-20 mins + to make it to the front. I wish there was an obvious place to drop prepaid label packages. Arrived here on a Thursday afternoon around 4:30 pm to drop off a package. Lots of parking despite being a smaller store. I was expecting a long wait time since I was third in line and a lady was trying return an unwrapped built chair and someone was waiting for their notary. I went in to get some documents notarized. While I was waiting I got to see how this business runs. The clerk (working alone) needs to have his salary doubled. That guy was doing the work of two people. Efficiently and accurately. He worked through the never ending line. I wish I had gotten his name. Workers are always ridiculously rude for no reason. They don't even speak to me, they just point to the scale for me to put my package on

I had made an online purchase and the items were taken (unfortunately) to the Snell Avenue UPS Store to be packed and shipped to me by Saumil Shah. From the very beginning of the experience, he was rude, bullying and condescending. Well from there it only got worse! He packed all of the the items in a box using absolutely no bubble wrap, only placing the items in thin plastic bags. Of course when I received the package there was damage to several of the items. When I called him to initiate a claim, he started to bully and stated that "there was no way that there could have been any damage" (actually, there was pretty much no way that there could not have been any damage). When I told him that the items were only put inside thin plastic bags, he stated that if he had used bubble wrap it would have been much more expensive. Now, if he had used bubble wrap for my package, which he didn't, he would have been significantly overcharging me at nearly $200. But using plastic bags went into the category of opportunism and gouging. Unfortunately, the price gouging wasn't the worst part of this situation. Per UPS policy, UPS Store owners must file claims when items are shipped from a UPS Store. After I requested a claim be opened, there was no follow up from Saumil for over a week so I called him for an update. When I asked him for the claim number, he told me that UPS does not assign claim numbers until after the disposition of the investigation. I KNEW THAT WAS A LIE! (and yes Saumil, I have this on recording as I record all of my business calls). It is also what is known as "FRAUD" in legal circles. After contacting the UPS corporate office, I confirmed that there was indeed no claim opened by Saumil. So in conclusion, Saumil is willing to gouge his customers on the front end of a business transaction and commit fraud on the back end. Does this sound like someone that you should do business with? Also notice the inordinate amount of reviews stating that returns for online purchases seem to go missing once they are in his possession. Sounds like someone needs to contact the California Attorney General's office and report this activity. Or, maybe just check some of the local flea markets for this merchandise. Either way, be careful! Or better yet, just find another business to deal with. If he is the closest drop point for your (Amazon, AT&T etc.)return and your items go missing, are you really going to be saving time? Drive the extra couple of blocks! read more

Avoid this UPS location. The old supervisor was terrible and not trustworthy. I brought six boxes to ship back to the originator. He only processed three. I later found out from the originator that they only received and credited back three items. The other three items were not traceable since there were no tracking numbers. I came back to the store and verified with the man. He said he only processed three items and he had no idea about the other three. He blamed me for not verifying immediately back then and accusing me that I only brought three items. He even raised his voice. WTF. Do not use this place for shipping. Dropped a package off today and asked for a receipt. The cashier(Saumil) tried to scan my package multiple times but it didn't work. All he said was label issue. He then did something on the computer and gave me a receipt. I was concerned because it was an expensive item and I asked him if there was going to be any problems arriving. He shrugged his shoulders and said "I don't know". I then asked him why he didn't tell me there might be issues with delivery and he told me he was saving me time. Not good and he was very defensive. I won't be using this place in the future and hope my package gets there or I will contact corporate. No wonder this store has such low rating. read more

Only reason why I don't give them the full 5 stars is that I would hope to see more employees there to help with the long lines that usually gather. I've walked in several times to drop off shipments and none of the women properly wear their masks! It's a pet peeve of mine and during this pandemic, it's become a necessity to wear it properly. There is one gentleman that goes above and beyond to help me and I truly thank you, hence the 2 stars. Additionally I came in to get something notarized and they made me wait for an excessive amount of time and wanted to charge $15 per signature. This location is beyond awful. It doesn't matter what time of day you go, there's always a line. The staff moves at a sloths pace. Instead of having another staff member help reduce the line as they have a second register always open, they disregard and continue to allow the line to get longer. The manager, (I think Ramon) is rude, lazy, and always has a painful look on his face. He never greets customers, even if the customer greets him, he gives no response. He acts like customers are a nuisance. You can tell he really hates his job and does not enjoy customer service whatsoever. To top it off the place is always unorganized and dirty. I don't think they've ever wiped anything down, nor used a vacuum. I really wish the entire staff would be replaced with some pleasant ones. Whoa! I had no idea that the UPS store has a 24 hour access mailbox. Not that I need one right now, but I wouldn't have known if I didn't need to drop off a package. This is a small little store that has terrible parking because of all the store in the same plaza. The transaction was very fast, I walked in and gave them the box. The lady asked me if I needed a receipt, I replied yes, and they printed one for me with the quickness. I was in and out of there in 2 minutes top. I noticed they sell mail related envelopes, tapes, etc. I wouldn't recommend you buy it at the UPS store unless you have no other options because it's always more expensive but sometimes you just forget. This is the only UPS store in our neighbor that's convenient however I don't recommend this store for many reasons. Lack of proper management, lack of customer service, lack of communication and they don't seem to care. I have been here a few times and noticed that the owner is very rude to UPS drivers picking up packages and how he speaks to clients. That is unacceptable, he barely helps the lines but orders the staff around esp when there is a long line. A great leader/manager would at least acknowledge the line and step in to help clear the line despite of what time of the day it is. This store lacks that leadership. The store is hot like an oven, not sure why the owner can't use the A/C or at least a fan to circulate air. I went in for Amazon returns, and spent an hour there due to them being so slow and i left all sweaty due to no air movement in that store. On another note, all my Amazon returns over 2 weeks ago were processed by them and I'm finally getting my refund today. All other UPS stores I've used, i get my refund within a few days. This store needs some improvement with management, staff development and better customer service! I'm glad there's a UPS store in the neighborhood, but sad it's run rudely and deceptively. What does 8 inches or packing tape cost? Not even 8 cents. What a cheap and effective way to exhibit customer service to offer that for free or even for a dollar at extreme profit. But, no, you have to buy a whole roll for at least $5. Okay, I'll pay for that if I have to. But then I get a bill for $7. What? It was in a box with everything else clearly labeled $5. Saumil Shah shows me the $7 price tag cleverly hidden under the dispenser. There's no box over there labeled $7. He's not willing to concede the issue of how his store misled the customer, and he was unpleasant with both me and other customers the whole time I was there. If I come back, I'll have to try a different time or day to see if the customer service is any better with different staff and look out for hidden labels on the products they invite you to use there in the store. read more

I feel like I've just been able to walk in to ship what I needed to or print what I needed to maybe ask a couple questions and then leave. I came here yesterday to get fingerprinting done for my work. I handed the employee my paperwork, and he told me UPS stores don't do live scan, and I'd have to go to a police station to do so. HOWEVER, he explained to me that he can do manual fingerprinting which costed a good $75 extra if you include shipping. It turns out he LIED. Certain UPS store locations, in fact, do live scan. It turns out this location is a franchise, and the worker who scammed me is the owner. I can't even get a damn refund because the owner ALSO tricked me to sign an electronic document without letting me read it. He simply said, "Scroll all the way down, sign, and submit." It's my fault for falling for this. I should've known as soon as I came in that the energy in this place and attitude the employees give off that this place is a SCAM. Go find a corporate location, and DO NOT come here. read more

I've consistently found this to be one of the worst businesses in my city. They are always, consistently, reliably, rude and they do not do their job well. They're rude with no assignable cause for being rude. I am a Black male. I seriously wondered if they are rude because of some racial bigotry. There is no other explanation. I continued to use this store because they are extremely close to where I live. I would have to drive miles to use another store. This happened today. Me: "I'd like to ship this package. Please use the address that is on the label." UPS (after typing in the address): "Is this the correct address?" Me: "Yes. You used the same address on the label." UPS: "Is this the right address?" Me (after staring at it again): "Yes, it's correct, it's the right address." UPS: "I need to ask you again, is this the right address?" Me: "I don't understand. I said it's the right address. Am I missing something? Why are you asking me again?" UPS: "Is this the right address?" Me: "Yes. You've asked me four times, I don't understand why you're asking me the same question repeatedly." This person asked me to initial and sign the shipment receipt - an $11 local shipment of a $25 dollar item. If this person worked at my company, they'd be drug tested. I couldn't understand the bizarre behavior. I was trying to process it when, an older White guy came over and said: "If you don't want us to follow procedures, go to FedEx!" Fact is, I do want them to follow procedure, and procedure surely doesn't include behaving like a jerk. And I will go to FedEx. read more

This is ridiculous! I paid $436 for over night shipment to Atlanta! My baby brother moved to Atl from Cali and was craving for Vietnamese food! I bought $300 of perishable food n PAID $436 jus for shipping! But instead he got non edible food because UPS did not make the delivery on time! Shipped on 7/27/20 n was supposed to arrived on 7/28/20 by 10am! But instead it DID NOT arrived until 7/29/20 @ 6pm. All the dry ice melted n food was not edible! Now the store is telling me that UPS corporate is not issuing a refund! So it's ok to charged people for Over night shipment and not delivered until 2.5 days later. Not to say the tracking clearly stated that package did not got on plane as scheduled so why is the business not providing me the refund??? I used to own a Postal Annex and I always reimbursed the customer first and deal with UPS r whoever after. I will contact the Business Bureau! read more
