The people absolutely bend over backwards to provide smooth, efficient service. They are warm, pleasant, and look for ways to be especially helpful. I always enjoy going in - everyone is greeted with respect, a smile, and beautiful humor. read more

Team members unwilling to offer any solutions. Was told their manager would call me to discuss case - never happened. My package was never delivered and it was sent back to me. I simply requested a reimbursement. I got the runaround from every team member I had contact with. 30+ years UPS customer treated poorly. No repeat customer retention attempt or options. I would avoid going to this UPS Store if you need to ship anything. I imagine if someone from the store sees this, they will throw blame back on me. Bit the truth is, customer service at this location is poor. Superficially friendly staff, but kindness is strictly performance, not authentic. We are all just a number. Long term customer lost over 122$ rightfully owed to me. read more

Had to wait 20 minutes in line because two people had to do notaries when there was only one person on staff. Should only be doing notaries if there is more than 1 person on staff. It's not fair for the people that are only going to take 30 seconds to return something. read more

This is by far my favorite UPS store in San Clemente. All the employees are super nice and very helpful and extremely efficient. I have found that I've not had a long wait most visits which also makes it very convenient. read more

I've been coming to this location with UPS for years and always there has been a very, very approachable and pleasant person to take my order. Today was not the case. I walked in with an order to return labeled everything ready and unfortunately, for some reason, it would not take my label. She said it was probably a copy and of course it was. It was taken directly from Amazon to be printed. And then received a lesson on how to print with Landscape. I just smiled and waited until she finished went out and got my phone to show her the label and she said I can't do that. You'll have to email me so I was directed on how to email to that location. Which I did . And I waited for her to get the label after a while. She went over to retrieve it and she handed it to me. She then proceeded to tell me that if I didn't like being in that location, I could leave and go somewhere else. And next time she would charge me two dollars I had not engaged her in any conversation whatsoever. I just stood there and smiled at her. let's take it down a notch. I just wanna mail my package. I want to be able to get this completed. I've never seen someone with such discourse. I had the opportunity to observe her with three other people before me never once did she smile did she not ever seem approachable and she in fact, she seemed very inconvenienced. I just smiled at her. I did not want to be involved in any type of confrontation just stood there and smiled. I found her extremely antagonistic rude. I hope this young woman has a better day. I hope she figures out that when you work in customer service you smile you're approachable, and you're easy to talk to. I'll definitely come back to the store. It's very convenient to me in my past. History has been very positive but if she's still there, she will not wait on me. Ever again. read more

Thank you for your useless response to my review. You are refusing to acknowledge that your delivery driver lied about delivering my package. The UPS driver did not do his job properly and did not deliver my package to my house. The photo the UPS driver provided in the Proof of Delivery was not my house. I want an explanation, an apology and a refund. read more

well I went to ship a painting . the first team member to help me got the measurements wrong on the box and tried to charge me $500 more than it was really and after I spent $250 to ship it it got to its location broken glass and frame of a &$3000 painting . so I called to see how to proceed . well the store told me is that . they have the same name but no affiliation with the company . so basically they can use your packages like a football and you are responsible if it breaks . wow!!! read more

Always very friendly. I forgot my label today and they had me email it and they printed it out, no problem. Best UPS store in the area!

I'd stopped doing returns thru this location after some less than great experiences. But in the last year or so I've tried again and I am so happy to say the folks at the counter have been super helpful, patient, and friendly. read more

It's great to have a local UPS store nearby. Always a good experience! Staff is very helpful

Joel was great!! such a big help in helping us pack for a big cross country move. best customer service ever!

0/10. Unprofessional workers, Richard was the one helping me and the word helping was a stretch because he seemed irritated to do his job. He also let another customer walk away because of how un helpful he is. He just stood there and the other worker on the phone texting. It was my first time here and most definitely the last. Please teach better customer service. Be mindful of who you are talking too because he was talking to me like I was dumb. read more

This UPS store seems like it's easy to find once you know where it is, it's right on El Camino but Apple Maps directions leads you to the freeway. Once I found it, I walked in and everything is right empty with a lot of boxes everywhere. I beat the crowd though! Everyone came in after me which is great! I don't know if I come back here but it's fine if you have to drop off a package! read more

I don't know what the hell these other negative reviews are talking about. I have had wonderful customer service here every single time I've gone in and even since the first time I've gone in. Shipped a UPS Express Envelope here from northern California. Storekeep charged me $10 for accepting the envelope. This charge was not disclosed when I arranged the shipment on the UPS.com website, which is FRAUD. Not disclosing all fees for a service up front is not legal. The additional charge made the shipment go from $40 to $50. Had I know this when arranging the shipment, I would have used Fed-Ex (who does not charge you to ship to their Fed-Ex stores). UPS owes me $10. The undeveloped nation customer service reps were a waste of time and powerless to do anything. Pointless. read more

Terrible customer service by this UPS Store!!! We had a box here for many years, paying them a ton of money during that time. This year we discontinued the box but they charged us something like a $120 bucks when we closed out the box in the middle of the month. So what do they do this time: Since we no longer have a box there, they are charging us $10 before handing over to us a delivery that was mistakenly sent to them. We were not aware The UPS Store had that policy in place. I would have thought that since we were such good customers for so many years that it would not have been an issue for them to receive a package for a good former customer. I will never again do business with them in the future and would tell potential customers about my poor experiences with The UPS Store so they could be guided accordingly. read more

I recently had an extremely disturbing experience with the kid with blonde hair working in the front. I brought in 10 Amazon returns with each individual item separated with the corresponding QR code TAPED TO THE ITEM/BOX. I take pride In making sure it's as seamless as possible. This kid started working too fast and misplaced a QR code in the trash, then he scanned one twice (because he was moving too fast) and proceeded to tell me I had it wrong. He then looked in the trash and couldn't find it so he looked at me and had the nerve to tell me I need to be better prepared and more organized. I said excuse me and he said "you heard me, it's not my fault there's a line behind you, you didn't come prepared". After being insulted and patronized in front of multiple people I asked him for his name and he told me "I don't have to tell you my name, you can leave now". This is terrible customer service and the way this kid spoke to me was extremely disrespectful and could've ended badly for him if I didn't have control of my temper. 1 star read more

Customer service is terrible. They barely even look at you while gossiping about other customers amongst themselves. And then they charge you $5 for someone else's used amazon box with their name and address still on it. read more

The older gentleman working gave absolutely the worst customer service ever. An elderly gentleman came in while I was there and the UPS employee could not have been less friendly, or short. He couldn't bother to look at either of us while "helping". He was so rude and dismissive with the older gentleman. Mean, sarcastic and rude! If you don't like people, work in the back and let someone who has patience and kindness work at the desk. It boils my blood to see this in a customer service position and the disrespect to an older person. This clerk was in his 60s and should know better. This is only minutes from my house but I'll never come back again. read more
