Why is it that it costs $5 to print a UPS label? I was trying to send a return item back and I can't believe how much it costs to print. Literally $5 per page printed is outright ridiculous. What is the point of having store hours if the associates working close early. On January 3rd I went to the store 15 minutes prior to closing and the store was already closed. I was disappointed with the employee #100536- Leslie. I'm glad I researched prices and terminology before I walked into the store. Leslie tried numerous times to overcharge me. 1. Without asking she brought out a box 2. Without giving me options she charged me a next day early ($80+)... and when I questioned she said it was because it's only cheaper if you have an account. Her co worker corrected her and said it was the same. 3. I questioned the price again and confronted her why she was charging so much if online it says I should be charged $46.58 for a next day air, she smiled and apologized and said because she thought I wanted to use a small yellow envelope instead of theirs... wow... I was helped by two young women, damiana I believe was one of their names, I didn't catch the other women's names, they helped me pack and ship two of my plant art frames. I have never experienced such incredible service from a mailing services such as this. I will be shipping all of my future packages from this location. I don't know if it was the owner or an employer, but i got to the store when it was supposed to open at 8 am. So, I get there and try to open the door it's locked. I knock no one answers. Now I have a bid box that was hard to carry in by myself so I really did not want to put it back in the truck. I call the store 5 times and keep knocking. After about 15-20 mins the man comes out from the back looking at me like why are u knocking at the door. Unlocks it and I ask if you open at 8 or did the time change. No lie this guy looks at me and said we open at 8 you might want to knock harder next time I got more important things to do. So this will be the last time I go to this ups store. POOR NOTARY SERVICE On April 22, 2021 around 4:30pm at the UPS Store, 6185 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92505 (Store # 2401) the aforementioned notary republic, Leslie Vargas, Commission Number 2229301, completed our individual notarized documents in which Miss Vargas completed the notarization of our documents but she failed to properly enter these notarizations within her notary journal. Miss Vargas became irritated after we requested for her to properly fill out her notary journal in front of us, as she refused to within her own words "She does not have to enter our information within her journal in front of us, it's her private journal and she intends to do it in her own time" , she said that we were "Picky People", "That we are funny", "That we think the world revolves around us" in which we stated to Miss Vargas that we'd like for her to complete the journal in front of us to ensure that its done correctly, from which she became aggravated and stormed out of the building and left us there waiting without her notary journal having our finger prints, signatures, documentation, and identification completely filled out within her notary journal. As we waited 10 mins for the UPS Store Manager, Michael Gallegos to have Miss Vargas to come back into the store to complete her notary journal , she refused to come back into the store from which the UPS Store Manager Michael Gallegos informed us that she will not come back in to complete the notary journal, in which we then left with only our notary documents being completed within this transaction but not our information within Leslie Vargas's (Comm # 2229301) notary journal. This complaint is to ensure that based on Miss Vargas's irate response to this matter that her failure to properly complete her journal before we left does not invalidate our actual notary documents that she completed. In addition, we want to ensure that Miss Vargas does not use any of our personal information that we provided her in any malicious form. A formal complaint was filed with the UPS Corporate office on 4/23/2021, which they confirmed a response from management would be provided to us within 48hrs. It's now be 120 hours and still no response from management. read more

This ups store has been helpful in the past but today I was carrying my 2 month old in her car seat waiting 6 ft apart in line to get an application notorized for her birth certificate and when I inquired for this the lady said her stamp is running put of ink!!!!! On May 11th I called the store and give them my order number so that they can check if I can pickup them. The answer I got was they couldn't retrieve the files to print and cancelled my order without my consent!! I love this location been a customer here since they first opened and have had a mailbox there for the last 2 years. Excellent customer service, employees are all very helpful and kind. Always get my packages in a timely manner and they have even gone above and beyond numerous times to wait for me after they had closed to get my package to me since I couldn't get there in time. Do not waste your time at this UPS. The staff are unprofessional and incompetent. I paid for live scan here and the results were too blurry. I came back and they did it a second time for me. The new number they gave me shows no record found. After coming back a third time, their live scan computer was down. The fourth time they were still no help to me and when i asked for a refund they refused me. I paid for a service I did not actually receive. I had a horrible experience and will not come back to this location. I also came to this same store a few years ago for a passport photo which was rejected due to being the wrong dimensions. There's a reason this store has terrible reviews. I went in for a simple passport photo. The photo was blurry and the guy behind the counter said that's how they look, because of the paper required. This is not my first passport and I needed to get my renewal application in the mail ASAP. Knowing they wouldn't accept a blurry photo for my passport, I went to Fedex a few doors down and got a super clear passport photo. If you need a passport photo, go to Fedex. read more

I've now had it with this awful place. I've had a mailbox here since late December. For the first month, I was not receiving any mail. Finally, after trying to figure out what was going on for several weeks, I learned that my mail was being delivered to this UPS store, however, ALL of it was being returned to the senders because their employee(s) never put my name on the box and therefore, claimed they didn't know who I was. Since then, I think my mail is being delivered, however, I still receive mail belonging to other people. Today was the final straw. The UPS store is supposed to be open until 7 P.M. (see a copy of the sign another reviewer added below). I arrived at 6:15 P.M. - clearly, enough time to pick up my mail. Disgustingly, the door was locked and it was impossible to get my mail. After rattling the door (the lights were on), an employee (a young girl) came out and with hand signs, informed me that the store was CLOSED! I pointed at the sign on the front door and she mouthed (she wouldn't come to door) that they closed at 6 P.M. Since when?! Not only does the sign still clearly state that they are open until 7:00 but I was also never notified that they now close at 6. The employee refused to let me get my mail, even though I made a special trip just to get it. Update: I had to go in today (because they refused to let me in yesterday despite their posted times) and I spoke with the manager. He stated that I was the second person to complain to him today and seemed genuinely surprised that the girl who worked last night not only locked up an hour early but had the audacity to tell me that the store closes at six. Do not go to this store, they don't care about the safety of their guests. they are constantly not enforcing the mask mandate. First things first.. I will NEVER.. Come to this store again, and will encourage EVERYONE I know to never patronize this location. Called for Notary service SEVERAL times and every time I called they were not available, on days that they were suppose to be. So I call and ask for the notary, was told he was present. I get there within 10 minutes of my call, and the sales associate tells me that the notary was in training and cant leave his desk.. She didn't offer and alternate solution or a time to return, just kept repeating herself with an increasing horrible attitude. I feel sorry for the owner of this location. If it was possible to rate with ZERO stars, I would. They don't deserve the single star noted. If you need to send a package, go someplace else. The clerk was a moron. I gave her the package to take my information and more importantly, the recipient's information. She entered the information, printed the label and asked me to check it for accuracy. When I noticed the recipient's street was SPELLED WRONG, I advised her of this. Her reply was "the computer corrected it". ?????????? The street was spelled CORRECTLY, so because "the computer" arbitrarily decides to "correct" the street name, why ask me to check it for accuracy in the first place? When I asked her to change it to what I had written down, she became indignant instantly. Her response was "well I have to override the computer". M y response was "why ask me to check it for accuracy, if you have no intention of making the corrections?" The final insult was when she reluctantly made the change, at my request, she literally slammed the receipt and pen on the counter in anger for me to sign the credit card receipt. What a B#%!+&!!! I told her to her face that if she didn't like her job, she should find a new one! This girl gives the UPS Brand a bad name. I agree with Tony! They do not deserve even one star! I mailed 5 packages on 10/17/12 and did not think anything about it. Informed the people of the shipping and provided them their delivery confirmation numbers. On 10/22/12, I checked the USPS to make sure that some of them were delivered, but instead I received a message stating no information had been found. I called the UPS store and spoke with CJ, who claims to be the manager and was the one who "helped" me ship the packages, and he they said on well sometime the post office does not pick up from them daily and my packages went out on Friday, 10/19/12. I was ok with that explanation and passed that along to the people who were waiting for their packages. Fast forward a few days and still no information in the system about packages. I called and spoke with CJ again and he said he would be a "tracer" on the packages. I informed him if that was something I could do I would and he said yes I would be able to do it. I called the post office on 10/24/12 and they said that it is very odd that none of the packages showed up in the their system. So I called CJ back and asked him to look to double check that they did leave their location. He confirmed yes they did. Few hours later my local postmaster called and said to find out who their mail carrier was, so I called back and spoke with Anthony. I asked him and he said they have different ones and when I asked to speak with CJ, he stated oh he is at the post office putting "tracers" on my packages. I asked Anthony to have CJ phone me and he did leaving me a voicemail stating that he put tracking on the packages and to call him the next day. Later that night I had a feeling, so I checked the USPS website and look at what I found tracking information for the packages saying that they were dropped off at the post office the same time that CJ was at the post office putting "tracers" on my packages. I was disgusted at this point, I gave him every opportunity to tell me that they had the packages and we made a mistake. Instead CJ thought it would be better to lie and then try to cover by saying this has never happened before. This very well be the case or this is just the first time they have been caught. Called their corporate customer service and spoke with a nice representative there and she request the owner to call me about this issue. Still to this day I have not received a call from the owner or even the customer service rep that took the complaint. Just proves they do not care about customer service at all! Then to top it all off, I was clearly over charged for every package and the response from the UPS store was well we need to make money we are a business. I understand that but there is no flat rate or percentage of mark up it is what ever CJ wanted to add at the point of sale. So just a note to the UPS store, yes you are a business and need to make money, but with this lack in customer service and with employees who lie and do not make any attempts to apologize for it, you will lose more money than you will attempt to make! read more

Ishmael went above and beyond by contacting UPS and located a tracking label that was not going to arrive for another 3 days!
