I had been going to this UPS store to have all of my printing jobs completed for my business for the past 6 years. This year a new owner took over this store and ever since I have not been impressed, just dissapointed. I also had purchased $500 in color copy cards prior to the new owners taking over and was told by the new owners that they would be honoring them back in the Spring. After trying to print my markting material with them for the past month and told that their color copier was not working, I was told this weekend that they no longer accept my prer-purchased color copy cards. I was told that the only ones they will accept are "used ones". I still don't understand what that means but the female associate told me that it was because the former manager had been giving them out for free to people. I really don't care what happened, it is not my issue, I paid a lot of money and I shouldn't have to eat their issues! When I asked to speak to the manager, she said I would have to come in during the week to speak to him. When I asked to have her name, she said she didn't have to give that to me. I know who she is so it doesn't matter. I will be complaining to Corporate. This is not how you handle customer serice issues. They should have a manager on site if their Associates do not know how to handle issues that come up. So, I took my business to the UPS store at 16th St and Glendale Ave, $400 worth and happily paid them for being polite and efficient. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! read more

Every single solitary time I come into this store the employees are rude. The girl with the glasses looked like it was the worst day of her life. They always act angry and miserable. It's truly the most toxic business. Their copy machine was broken and some of my copies didn't come out correctly and the older guy (probably the store manager) said that I had to pay for the copies. He snapped at me and rolled his eyes. Really???? And the customer in front of me made a mistake and apologized profusely 3 times and the manager I'm assuming (same old guy with white hair) gave him the silent treatment. What is wrong with this business?? I've been here 3 times and even though I live next door to this place I will NEVER come here again. The old guy was so so snarky and condescending. Why??? After the 1st two visits here and them being rude I thought I'd come back in just for 18 copies and I thought "SURELY they won't be rude again. I mean it's only copies." But no, it couldn't be a 10 minute normal transaction. They were snippy as always. Especially the older guy. The misery here just permeates. Well it was a fantastic day until this. Now I'm just upset. What is wrong with these people???? Nuts!!!!! I have been a customer for 12 years since they open. Ed the owner and the lady that has worked with him, which I am ashamed I still do not know her name, are great at what they do. Ed can be, sometimes, grouchy because it is easy to get frustrated by the unrealistic expectations of some customers but I understand that. If you just tell him, do not be grouchy he smiles and completely changes. The lady that has been working for him for a very long time is sweet and very efficient. She knows her job. The shopping center where they are located has gone thru hard times and this is the only store that survived the challenges this area had, and the reason is because the service they provide to the community. Their prices are very reasonable and they will do pretty much everything for you. One recommendation, get there ready with your package. Specially during Christmas season, they are busy as bees and you no being ready with your package will delay the line and then is when Ed gets frustrated. But who would not get frustrated if you have a line waiting. Time is money. read more

Customer Service... what's that? This place has no clue. Rude, and outright mean. They had nothing nice to say about anything or anyone in the store. I would rather drive miles out of my way than ever set foot in this place again. If you must use UPS to ship something there are many other locations that will treat you like a customer, not an annoyance. If it matters I was shipping a RMA Computer Hard Drive. The guy at the counter was rather upset that I had the nerve to ask for some tape to seal the box and attach the pre-paid label. His justification was that his store saw no profit from people using pre-paid labels that are bought online and printed out. The tape costs $3.00 a roll. That is a 200ft roll.. So the 8" that I needed set him back about $.13. His attitude forever lost him a customer. I ship things such as this 4-9 times a year. Never will another item be sent from this location. read more

They are extremely rude and prejudice towards people of color. My husband was harassed by the older white man with gray hair and a bald spot, when we were just trying to print papers like we have for years at this location. In the past, He has been rude to us each time he was working the counter. He demanded my husband leave a $5 deposit for the computer even though no one has ever been required to do so and asked "do you know how to use that?" as my husband walked toward the rental computer. He confiscated my husband's debit card then scolded him for leaving the prior day with prints that were messed up by their repairman. He said, "we can't give you a refund." My husband didn't even ask for one. He was just trying to print important family court docs. The man accused him of smoking marijuana and driving, said "I don't have to deal with this" then told him to get out. I called to speak with a manager he refused and continued to yell and refuse to allow me to speak with the manager. I don't recommend this place as it is unsafe for people of color. No one should be treated like this and based on the other reviews it's not the first and won't be the last time a person of color is discriminated against and harassed. read more

The best UPS I have ever used this far. Ed (the business owner) is personable, customer service-oriented and understands the priority of business and regular customers. He is fair, unbalanced, runs this office and trains his employees well. That is also reflected in their level of customer service and skill in handling mid-complex level shopping tasks at this particular store. It interesting that two packages I brought here, with prepaid labels for UPS to pick up, never made it to their destination. They were Amazon returns, and Amazon is saying they never received it. I have dropped off Amazon returns to other UPS stores in the past and the packages have always made it to Amazon. I won't be dropping off anything at this store again. read more

I have used this store for all my needs from mail, shipments, faxing, copying and just for friendly chit chat and have not wanted to give up this location even when I lived in California they made it easy to get assistance long distance. A friend of mine moved to New York and had me ship her computer (several boxes) to her via this UPS store. I'd used this place before with no problems. Thanks to some good ol' UPS mixups one of the boxes (the actual PC) was shipped back to Phoenix, back to New York, and back to Phoenix again, ending up back at this UPS store. Aforementioned friend was understandably mad and didn't want to have to pay to ship it again, called UPS and demanded they pay for it. UPS customer service agreed to and called the manager of this particular UPS store to confirm, but the manager proceeded to freak out, accused the corporate UPS employees of being 'fakes' and trying to rip him off, and held my friend's package hostage, saying he wouldn't ship it anywhere until somebody physically came into the store and gave him money to do it. So I went in there and took the package to FedEx instead. (Which also sucked, but not nearly as much) Maybe he had good reason. Maybe he'd been ripped off by fake corporate UPS employees before. I needed to print 1 piece of paper and she told me that she won't let me email it and that I have to log on to the computer and it would be 2.50!!! For 1 piece of paper c'mon. We called UPS and they informed us that if they had picked it up, it would have been scanned and the tracking would reflect that. This store lost our package and never gave it to the driver when he comes to pick up their packages. The owner, the grump everyone talks about, told me "WELL THIS IS WHY THERE IS INSURANCE ON PACKAGES!" Are you serious? Love this place, BEST place to get copies in town, I have been getting my copies made here for years and the self serve machine is a large printer that does the job fast. Check them out, and ask for the prices in bulk. The cards can be used as you need copies, but will save you $$$ read more

I have had the worst experience with descrimination and harassment from one of the employees at this particular UPS Store on 01/08/2019 at 8:47am. He has reluctantly rung me up at the counter in the past and has been standoffish with myself and people of color, including my wife. On past occasions, he would see me standing at the counter but walk away and start working on other things. On this day, I walked into the store to print several documents for my wife's family court hearing that was scheduled that day. As usual, I walked into the store and went directly to the computer for printing. Before I was able to move the mouse, the associate said, "Do you know how to use that? You need to leave a deposit first." I thought this was odd because I have been to this store many times to print documents and I nor has anyone else in the store been asked for a deposit. There also were no signs indicating this requirement. However, I proceeded to the counter. I responded by saying, "Yes, I was actually here Monday and the repairman that was here messed up a few of my prints." The associate responded defensively by saying, "You need to leave a deposit of at least $5. We're unable to give you a refund." I replied, "I did not ask for one." He became more aggressive and sarcastically asked me why I would leave with messed up prints. I informed him that I made hundreds of copies and I did not realize until I got home. He then randomly scolded me by saying, "You smell like weed." I replied, "It's a free country, sir." He then said, "Yeah, but you can't smoke and drive. I don't have to deal with this!" He then handed me my card back and told me to leave the store. I left promptly. My wife called the store to speak to a manager but the he refused and argued, shouting "Well, he can't smoke weed and drive!", "Why do you need a manager?", "Well, I don't even know who I am speaking with!" It wasn't until my wife said that she was recording the call, that he finally said that the manager is Ally and she will not be in until 11am tomorrow. I should not have to deal with such prejudice, descrimination, and harassment from this employee again. Also, others should not have this same experience in the future.
