Like many others have expressed... this particular UPS location puts little emphasis on customer service. (East corner 101Fwy & Cave Creek Rd) I went in to have them handle 2 simple Amazon returns. Had my package's & return code ready. One "didn't seem to work" on their register. They had me cancel my return & retry. The employer even said "tap here" All of a sudden I was told I owe THEM $2.99 to print a label!! It was their mistake & they wouldn't make it right. Ugh Still waiting days for the refund on the one package they accepted. Avoid this "poor customer service" location at all costs!!! All the other locations in the valley are courteous & professional! Go there!! Update: Amazon never received my return. This store actually cancelled it, right after I left. However, when I contacted Amazon, they said that they show on their end the tracking, stating that my merchandise is still in their possession!! Who does that!?! Amazon stated that I was not the first one this has happened too... they actually get alot of complaints about this particular UPS location. Also-- Amazon assured me that my refund will be issued regardless of them stealing my package!! read more

Terrible customer service. Went in to ship some packages and was told to do it myself on the kiosk. I've never did this before so I asked some questions and was ignored. Finally I gave up and decided to go to another UPS store. I did have one box that needed tape. I asked if I could borrow the tape gun and was told I could use it for two dollars. Unbelievable. Has an Amazon return. Standard stuff. I even had the shipping label already printed and was charged for him to tape up the box while the girl next to me had no package and was charged nothing extra. I use this location for amazon returns. I found the reviews about the returns funny below. People should pick the "no box, no label" if they want to do minimal work when returning. Then the item is stuck in a bag provided by UPS and shipped back to amazon. If you want to use your own box and label, have it all fully ready at home because then additional tape costs money. Nothing is free in this life. I have had a positive experience there and the wait is short if any. read more

I went to check my box for mail. Have been a client since 2015 and have never had any problems before today. When I walked in, Anthony was standing in front to a copier to the left, texting or playing a game on his phone and not behind the counter. I asked what his name was and he told me. I then went to by box to check for mail. I had a package notice (which is the WHOLE REASON I PAY FOR A PO BOX TO BEGIN WITH) and presented my paperwork to the lady behind the counter. She asked Anthony to come back to the other side of the counter (and presumably do his job) to show her how to provide me with my package. He slowly walked over to the other side of the counter and made a grumbly sort of noise and stated they were closing. I was told I needed to present ID. This has never been required before. But anyway, I went to my car to retrieve the necessary documentation. When I came back, Anthony had locked the door and closed the gate!!!! I used my key to unlock the door and asked for my package and presented my documentation. He tossed it on the floor thru the gate (Thank god it wasn't my dear mothers ashes!!!! Which is what I was expecting.) But who am I to judge how a package should be issued when I pay for years and years upon YEARS!!!!! For a PO Box, that I expect my packages to be handled with care. They should be ashamed for hiring such a young man and his display of disregard for the postal mail!! I should report him to the postal services! read more

I recently moved here from San Diego and the last UPS store I used spoiled me and I was so sad to have to find a new one. But it just doesn't make sense to drive 6 hours to ship something so here I am. I live down the street so it would be a miracle if this UPS store became my new favorite. I have been here about 6-10 times now and the customer service has been consistent every time and I have encountered 3 different people working here. Everyone has had great attitudes and seems genuine. They actually care about their customers! The store is always clean and tidy, and even when there is a line I stuck around and don't mind waiting because I am happy to wait to have cheerful people behind the register who actually care about you as a human. This store was my introduction to Phoenix when we moved here several years ago. The friendly, helpful customer service at this location was not what I was used to in CA and I have continued to be impressed. Yes, they efficiently handle all those mundane shipping things and are happy to accept my Amazon rejects but one of the best things about this store is their greeting card selection. I have lots of "unusual" friends and family who are now at a considerable distance (and I like it that way) and I always manage to find something appropriately weird and funny to send their way. Ive been doing business with this location for 4+ years. I got a smashed up notice my box is due for renewal however no rates, no prices, nothing, just 'stop in by xx date and see us'. Well gee some info would be great on that. This nonsense happens EVERY YEAR. This is just a single sheet of printer paper, I wonder how many box holders take this a trash and shred it. I also use them for dropping off pre-paid shipping and amazon returns, again hit or miss with who is working. There are times I want to turn around and not deal with the people at the counter and try a different day. When I have packages to pick up from my box, i no longer get emails from the store that items are waiting for me. I've gone back and forth and no one can fix the issue. Also there seems to be a 1-2 day delay between delivery and actually processing the items. So if amazon delivers on Tuesday this store doesn't actually log the item until Wednesday or Thursday, but yet my amazon account shows delivered on Tuesday. Talk about a mess all around. They are close and convenient, they finally added Sunday hours but the youth working the counter needs a bit more training on how to interact with customers. read more

I've been coming here for the last two years since I've lived in the area and I really feel like I need to show these guys some love! I honestly always have a positive experience coming here - which is hard for me to even believe since I usually frequent this place on the weekends when I'm hungover (sorry not sorry). And I ALWAYS have a million questions for some reason, which the employees are able to patiently answer for me. I have had the opportunity to have several different people help me out here, and I can honestly say they are all equally helpful and knowledgeable. Like who likes to go to UPS? No one, right!? I had to return a article of clothing to Amazon. They list the UPS store right by my house. The lady was super nice and helpful. I didn't know you could also make your own copies there! I have used this UPS location to return Amazon purchases on many occasions and their customer service is always respectful and speedy . However I was greeted rudely by the sales clerk Sydnee upon entering the store last week. In an impatient tone she asked me what I was there to do. When I responded Amazon returns she left out a loud big sigh and rolled her eyes. I asked her if she was irritated with the goal of bringing her awareness to her rude behavior and give her the opportunity to behave in a more courteous manner. I have used their services before but never again. I made a total of 12 copies and my bill came our to $2.93. I asked if I can pay in coins and the young woman there said yes so I said I will be back as the coins are in my car. When I came back, she threw out the copies that I made in the shredding bin and said that she thought that I will not be back! She threw everything out including the originals! To make things worse, never did she offer an apology and there was another woman there who took her side without knowing the facts. I will never ever patronize that business again. read more

I've used this store several times over the years and found the service to be hit or miss. I visited rarely enough that I was willing to take my chances. However several weeks ago I was in the store and was completely ignored. So much so it could only be deliberate. I walked up to the counter with a friendly hello but the young woman working there decided to move some boxes around, help another woman who was off to the side sorting out her own stuff, pretty much do anything but help me. I stood there politely for much too long hoping something would change, and ultimately walked out. I don't like to leave negative reviews for small businesses but this weird experience has stuck in my mind and now I see that others have also had bad experiences here. What a shame. read more
