Tried to get help from Karen, and that was my first mistake. I needed eight sheets of business cards printed for PDFs that were already ready to print. She was extremely short and rude with me. Telling me it's literally "It's Friday I need to get out of here." like who says that to a customer? I was shocked. I thought I was being punked.. She said she was already staying late even though the yelp page says that they close at 5:30 and I called her at 5 and told her I was five minutes away. Best service!! I walked in with a picture to print and Catherine was incredibly helpful. I explained my project, a big head on a stick, for a birthday party that same evening. Not only did she print and size the photo perfectly but they also had all the other supplies to pull the project together, foam board, spray adhesive, exacto knife and a work area! The woman at the counter was impatient, not very helpful, and slightly rude. It was more important for her to talk about her personal business to a customer that she was very familiar with than to try to make more than one sale with me. Her professional skills are severely lacking for dealing with the public. If she is the owner/manager of this location, maybe she should allow more professional people to handle customer needs. I will spend my money somewhere else. She lost a sale that probably would've been an additional $100 for her little franchise today. read more

I want to give this location and its owner 10 stars at least, mega stars!! I sent a very very expensive shipment of 3 parcels to South Africa and sadly UPS screwed the pooch. They blamed South African customs for broken and missing merchandise, but UPS should be responsible for a) making sure the weight of the parcels is the same after customs opens it (many items were missing), b) properly resealing and securing the parcels after customs opens them for inspection. As a result of UPS poor stewardship, the parcels arrived to their destination (a charity) with missing and broken items and broken shipping bins. I need to add here that PostNet did not pack the items. I did. Catherine at PostNet took up the banner of my complaints about UPS and ran with it, filing claims, offering to send UPS customer service her in-store videos of my shipment, writing mails to the UPS teams, in short, she went over and above to help me. It's been 3 mos. now of arguing with Catherine on my side and finally I got a check for the damaged and missing items, which I will donate to the charity. But if you want to ship something, and want to know you'll have an advocate should anything go wrong, ship with Catherine at this PostNet for sure!!! read more

this location was a terrible choice for me to send a very important document. the woman at the front desk was more interested in her phone then waiting on customers. I told her I needed to send document overnight next day air vis USPS SHE PROCEEDED TO HAND ME a UPS form. I filled it out then told her it was the wrong shipper. she then went to a computer and typed in the label. she mis spelled the last name of the recipient and then put in a Manila envelope. not a USPS envelope. I questioned this. but was told it didn't need to be. I should have left and taken my items to a USPS location. but I paid for the cost $23. I checked later that day I and it showed it was still at that location. checked again in the morning. showed the same thing. drove back and spoke to the same employee. she didn't want to deal with me and handed it off to the manager. she checked and it showed it was still in their facility. she checked in back and told me nothing in back. package was not delivered. went back following day. spoke to manager. she called USPS and they showed no record. needless to say I'm out the $23 and lost documents. Catherine was incredibly helpful and great to work with at PostNet. She helped me get my I-9 form signed as a notary despite the service not being chargeable. Many other places turned me down due to corporate policies and not wanting to do the service since the notary cannot charge. Let me preface this review the fact that I travel frequently for long periods and have been renting private mailboxes (Palm Springs, Manhattan Beach and Santa Barbara) over the last 10 years with NO incident whatsoever. I understand that mail is mail and things happen, but 3 incidents in 3 weeks with PostNet at 10869 N Scottdale Rd- the postal service isn't the problem, it's this business. 2 LOST packages in 3 weeks AND lost legal documents with checks. There is no paper trail. They only SOMETIMES put a receipt of package in your mailbox, however they don't want NOR do they accept you singing that receipt ( trust me I tried, they threw them in trash in from of me saying 'we don't do that here).Huge Red Flag. However, in these 3 instances the receipts were in my box (proving they had indeed received them) but my packages had disappeared. Barbara (owner I believe) tried to claim I'd picked up items - and I WASN'T even in AZ! She then took the receipt said she'd look into. I came in the next day she had LOST the receipt and started in with I'd somehow picked it up- completely forgetting I had been out of state already. I have no recourse, lost is lost and look at the contract it states as much. Rude service from the owner (Barabara) to every single employee (the 2 I've encountered) since this nightmare began to 2+months ago. I paid rental for 1 year in advance for private mail box, and I've had to rent another box at another mail box store after only 2+mo. Lost my packages, lost documents,lost my money for 10 mo rental box. Safe your sanity, safe your belongings, safe your money...Go to another mail box store. The merchandise was of course a total loss monetarily, but you cannot imagine anxiety of lost legal documents, stop payments on checks, not to mention the expense of having the former redone. Or at least I hope you can't. But I assure you, Barbara (the owner of PostNet) could care less. read more

Quiana (owners son) packed and shipped some fine art for me. It was close to closing time as we had waited so long to get the wrapping done. It was done in a makeshift way where I had to keep instructing the boy where the pieces were inadequately wrapped. He asked me how much I wanted to insure the work for. I paid for $2,000 worth of insurance. Work was much damaged at the destination. Fed Ex informed me the most they pay for fine art was $1000 and that the Post Net people were told this and should have informed me of this. They denied ever knowing about this limit on fine art! Post Net has taken no responsibility for their poor packing or role in this. They are only willing to give me the $1000 check they have received from Fed Ex. This has gone on for 4 months with my having to call them each time to get an update on the delay. They continually dragged their heels in following up to get this resolved, always telling me they would get back to me, which they never did. I am suing this Post Net store and obviously don't recommend anyone using them!! read more

There was one person working when I came in and she moved at an absolutely glacial place, despite a line forming. Then she informed me that the packages I wanted to ship via USPS would cost twice what it normally costs to ship that size parcel because 'her rates are higher to use USPS.' This business loses packages that are verified dropped off and under their custody (tracking# receipts) and then hide behind fine print that's not their fault it didn't make it to fedex or ups who picks up everyday from their establishment. This is my neighborhood PostNet and I have been going to this store for years. A few months ago, a new ownership took over and the new folks have been nice thus far. I came in to mail a simple envelope and what should have been a simple and quick transaction was extremely prolonged by the owner talking with another customer (that had completed their transaction) in a casual and long winded fashion. I would appreciated a quick - "I'll be with you in a minute". Attempting to process my transaction in a distracted manner while having a casual sidebar conversation with another customer is not a professional way to run a neighborhood PostNet business. read more

I had to close my PostNet mailbox at this location due to identity theft concerns. I had multiple letters and legal documents disappear from this location. I had confirmation from the senders the letters were delivered to the location and not returned. In addition, I had mail that was opened and placed in my mailbox. Let me first start by saying I should have noticed the red flags from the very start. I walked into post net March 29th to set up a business mailbox. Barbara made several errors while doing so and told me I would have to come back another day because she would need someone else to fix her errors and that I could pay and pick up my key then. April 14th I receive a call that it is all squared away but at this time I am out of town due to the death of my Grandfather. So we decided I would pay and retrieve key when I return to town. Upon returning in Late April I attempted to get in touch with Barbara so that I could come in to complete my personal mailbox but every time I called she was not there. I again left town for the funeral never receiving a call back. I got back into town May 7th and spoke to a gentleman on May 9th who told me she was actually on vacation and that he could help me. On May 9th I returned to PostNet paid the cost of the box and was told that there was no key and a key need to be made for the box. I returned to PostNet June 16th to retrieve my key and mail. Upon arrival I was told that I did not have any mail that i had not paid for the PMB and that she would have to check with Barbara. I left and called Barbara who proceeded to get extremely unprofessional and irrate with me claiming that I never paid for the box so I never received mail there (although I was expecting mail from Secretary of State, IRS and AZDept. of Taxation). I told her how ridiculous and un organized all of this was and that I no longer wished to do business with them and requested a refund. To which I was told "I DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS" and she proceeded to hang up on me. I drove right back down to there with my receipt and, luckily for them, was greeted by the lady that had helped me earlier. She apologized and offered to give me the remainder of the year free. Barbara walks in as if she was on a mission to speak her mind and was swiftly intercepted by the woman a taken to the back where I assumed it was explained to her that she was WRONG. Barbara comes out and apologizes, stating that she was on vacation at the time that I came in to pay and that the employee had not updated the system and that she would get me a mailbox key. I made them aware that I was expecting mail to which I was again told that I had never received any. I contacted all departments to see if they had received returned mail and they had not. Fast forward to today when I decide to call Barbara to make her aware that all agencies informed me that they had not received return mail. Mind you, I trust the word of the Secretary of State, IRS and Az Dept of Taxation far more than I trust this disrespectful, unprofessional woman. She tells me that she previously told me I had not received any mail and all that she has is my current mail. She then goes on to say "IF you received mail it was returned". SO which is it? Did I or did I not receive mail? But either way it is irrelevant because there is NO returned mail. I tell her that I contacted everyone (including USPS) and there was no mail returned. She AGAIN, just as she did last time when she was WRONG, proceeds to yell and tell me that she does not remember, that she manages 100 mailboxes and she has no idea what happened to my mail. I tell her if she does not lower her voice and speak to me like a respectful human being that I would have no problem reporting her. I told her all I am trying to do is get to the bottom of where my business correspondence had mysteriously disappeared to whilst they were claiming my box was not paid for. She continues to yell at me, stating that she doesn't know what happened to my mail and then threatens to hang up on me, as if I were the one that was irate and sure enough as I proceed to ask her more questions regarding my misplaced mail she hangs up on me. Do NOT do business here! If it is for personal mail do as you wish, but if it is sensitive or business related I would not recommend this place to anyone. The owner is EXTREMELY unstable. The other women that works there is great and very aware of Barbara's instability. I will be reporting this location to the USPIS, the BBB and requesting a full refund so that I can take my business elsewhere. Exceptionally friendly and competent packing service from the owner and her packer. No glass breakage, no evidence of rough handling or packing, great choice (theirs) of shipper (FedEx). I also shipped some things via USPS and Scottsdale & Shea UPS. I packed these with popcorn and bubble wrap. UPS boxes were very roughly handled, including one which was broken open, retaped by them, and which resulted in broken and dented contents. 9/14/13 - My brother and I have used this Post Net several times since early 2012 to ship a variety of things, including high quality art and artifacts including original oils; watercolors; pre-Columbian artifacts; Asian antiques and paintings from the 1800's; antique glass; soapstone, bronze and stone sculpture; clothing and household goods; and native american art and artifacts; all from Scottsdale to our homes in California and Illinois. Our shipping costs have amounted to more than $1000. We have no relationship with any member of the store, and had not ever heard of Post Net before using them due to their close proximity to our aging mother's residence. I am a retired executive who set up and trained customer service in a 4000 person organization. We also used UPS and the US Postal Service for some shipping. THIS POST NET PROVIDED EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE! They packed all manner of material quickly and professionally, were unusually pleasant, and every single article and package arrived at our homes undamaged. They even called to confirm that everything arrived in good order. Some credit must go to FedEx as well, the actual shipper. The several boxes sent by UPS and US Postal Service were all damaged (crushed corners and torn cardboard, including one UPS box that arrived completely crushed and torn, completely wrapped with their packaging tape to put it back together, with several broken pieces of sculpture). read more

I use this PostNet for all my shipping. Costs slightly more than the post office, but totally worth the time and frustration savings. Plus they are super nice. I found out they do printing so I'm going to get my business cards and flyers printed here too. The parking is easy, so I'm in and out. There are a few other postal places in the area, but this is my favorite. read more
