Review based on service on 9/10/22. Went at 9 to drop off some Amazon returns. They weren't open even though hours days they opened at 9. There were a couple of people lined up waiting. Came back 925, open with a line of 5 people. Two people working and taking forever with their customers. One employee looked like she was miserable and didn't want to be there. Waited 25 minutes in high humidity till finally my turn. First Amazon return easy. Second one I got attitude because I missed it said I needed to pack the items in a box (missed because I've never had to repack for Amazon returns). Instead of employee being helpful and offering to sell me a box they would fit, she kind of shrugged like I was an idiot and just had a bad attitude. I told her never mind, took my items and drove to San Marino UPS where I had excellent service. Won't be coming back to this location for anything. read more

Don't come here, find another one close by, this place has the worst service. It's small, very hot inside and you have to wait by the door, there is a table there to wait and it gets packed so ur stay if outside with the line trailing. There was a two people working and at a snails pace, the line is getting bigger and bigger then the young guy leaves and decides to go to lunch, leaving the older man to handle 8 people in the line, and no acknowledgment to the people still waiting. I've read some of the reviews here and I was shocked to read some of the horrible experiences customers have had at this UPS location. My boyfriend & I have personally had probably the best experience ever, and we definitely walked in with some doubts. My boyfriend purchased some pool supplies that were no longer needed so we went in to return it to the vendor. The box was broken and we had NO packaging tape with us (keep in mind this was 25 minutes before they were going to close on a Sunday). I am assuming it was the owner's wife that helped us but she was such a DELIGHT! We explained to her we wanted to buy a box because ours were broken. She proceeded to use her OWN packaging tape and taped up the messed up box into a usable one. She then gave us an envelope for any loose parts that were in the box so nothing fell out. She made the box very secure and went out to charge the shipping costs. She saved us an extra $5-6 for not purchasing a box or tape. And she did it all with a contagious smile. Overall, our experience was great. She was very patient with us and helped us in the end. I think it is possible that it is the language barrier that makes their "tone" or certain things rub people the wrong way, but you have to look past that and think about their actions I guess. Not sure, but definitely would come back to drop off or ship anything back. read more

I've been using the services here for a number of years. It's been a huge turnaround compared to the post office, where the hours were terrible and the lines were long. I love that the owner/manager accepts and signs for my deliveries. If I need to pick up packages after closing hours, he places them in a lock box for me. If you are a regular customer, the experience is different. Most of these 1-star reviews have been during the COVID-19 lockdown. Everyone is cranky and on edge. Yikes, this store has one very disgruntled UPS representative. I bought from an online clothing store which offers customers the option to pick-up from select UPS locations. For my purchase, the standard $4.99 "Click & Collect" fee was waived. I did the same less than a year ago, same online retailer, same UPS store, with no problems. When I recently went to this UPS store on delivery day, showing the UPS rep my pick-up notice and driver's license, right off the bat he expressed anger towards me. He asked if I had a mailbox there (I don't) and loudly said "How do I know who you are?" As I eyed my package behind him on the counter, he scolded me that I should sign up for UPS My Choice, mumbled about how he had to pay a $5 fee, showed me a random package in some sort of attempt to illustrate what he meant, and slowly returned that package to the stacks. I tried to talk with him about the steps I took online, and he refused to listen and raised his voice again, repeatedly saying it's the customer's fault. At least I finally got my goods as I walked past another customer with a package from the same online clothing store, lol. read more

Friendly staff, if they're not able to assist you, they'll give you instructions and send you to the right place. I recommend this location.

I went there to ship out something I was selling, gave the man the bar code on my phone for the label, he (owner of the store) said "it's a return". I told him that it's not a return. He then raised his voice and said "you have a bar code to print the label, it's a return!" I told him that I'm selling something and shipping it to the buyer. He didn't say anything and printed the label and put it on the package. I asked him how much did the package weigh, as I wanted to know if the fee paid was enough to cover the shipping fee based on the actual weight, he raised his voice and said "You're all set, sir!", basically asking me to get out of his store. I'll never want to step into this store again. read more

I've been to many UPS's, some have small lots which can be a pain to find a parking spot. So I started to come to this location due to the large parking lots. I haven't come in enough to where I'm a regular here, but never had a problem, always thought the employees and the owners treated me well. Today I needed a couple of items notarized. Called beforehand to make sure this location provides this service. Was told by the owner they do and that I can come in anytime. And yes, he spoke to me politely. When I came in, he was the one who did the notary and all went smooth and efficient. I had a few questions about the process, and he patiently explained everything clearly. Maybe I'm lucky, but don't really understand the negative reviews with a few being borderline racist, one making fun of they way they talk?! Ephen backwards people writing reviews on here. If you have a bad experience, then feel free to leave a bad review but leave the hateful rhetoric out of it. The owners and staff are just working hard during a tough time just like we all are. Be glad they were open all last year offering their services. A little understanding and decency and can go a long way. And like another reviewer said, it's been a rough year and a half, just take a deep breath if needed. Ok, rant over. There was this old Asian man who seemed like he didn't want to help anyone. He was just walking around doing other things well I first walked in and I felt like he was ignoring me. Then I need a ups label printed and he said he couldn't do..... It's a ups label, and I got to tons of others ups stores to print out items. Again like he seemed to like he didn't want to help anyone in the world. I sat there just to see how he treated the next customer and it was the same, no interaction or hello just a routine.... When I went back to the store, the owner got in my face and essentially said too bad. I wasted $55.00 there and had to go somewhere to pay to have the item shipped. Worst UPS store. Avoid at all costs. The employees aren't the issue here, the owner is. I had a return for an amazon item I purchased, I had them print a "label" which is a piece of paper I emailed to the store, and without mentioning anything, the owner charged me $2 for the paper printed, $1 for the tape used and $3 for the box I bought. $2 is not an issue, all he had to do was waive the $2 fee for not mentioning it to me and everything would have been fine, he told his employees to take everything out of the box and that he didn't want to do business with me. Just needed to make some copies. I was in and out within a few minutes. Cost me 15 cents per copy. Pretty simple process. They have two copiers and it's pretty easy to get the copies done. Wasn't hard at all. The employee was very helpful in explaining it and provided great customer service. I was hesitant at first based on the low ratings but I figured it can't be that bad to get some copies and it wasn't. Seems like a locally owned place. Got pictures up of family or maybe customers kids? Idk. Anyway wasn't hard to find the location either. Located in a big strip mall plaza near the Bank of America ATMs. Parking was pretty easy to find. I can't recommend anything else since I didn't use any other service but will provide updates if I need to come back here for something else. read more

It's Very disappointing. The store would be very convenient for me by its location & the staff is rather friendly, BUT the owner isn't. He appears not to really like running his store & it comes across in his demeanor. He charges For every little thing. He charged $1 just a two foot strip of shipping tape. He was miffed that he had to use 2 strips! Always go to this ups to return stuff I bought online. Never had a bad experience. They had distancing markers on the floor. The two people working today man and woman were exceptionally rude. I had to scan a QR code for a Amazon and she wanted me to hand her my phone so she could take it to the counter. I told her I did not want her to touch my phone since she was just digging in the trash can with the same pair of gloves. I understand what's going on on but if they scan my phone while I hold it away from them there's no contact. Wanting to touch my phone with dirty gloves that were just digging the trash is not happening. I told them I can hold my phone but they said to leave and go elsewhere. UPS is so arrogant that they think I should wait outside my secure apartment building on the sidewalk from 10am to 7pm so they can deliver my packages. They have my phone number. What stops them from texting or calling me so I run down stairs and get my deliveries? It just takes about 45-60 seconds. I pay for my things to be delivered, if UPS can't deliver them, then maybe UPS isn't a delivery service. They should stop soliciting to companies as a delivery service so we don't have to ask each company who they use as a shipping service so we can avoid getting UPS involved in our deliveries. It seems to be such a burden to them. read more

SOMETIMES BEING CHEAP CAN REALLY COST YOU!!!! Yesterday,I went with my 11 year old daughter to drop off some amazon returns. An African American man started helping us. He took my first package which was a $800 virtual reality system (which later I learned from my husband that it was actually $1400) and tells me that I need to purchase a box to return it. I told him that I created the return label from amazon's app and it stated no label/no box required. He took the ups label and put it straight on the virtual reality box without putting it in a box or at least a plastic bag. Every other ups store that I've made my amazon returns in the past, would place my items in a box or a plastic bag. My concern was if my package got damaged or if the box opened and things went missing, that I may be held liable. He gives me an unpleasant attitude and tells me if I have an issue,I can wait for the owner. I waited and when the Asian owner came up to me, he was even more abrasive. I was shocked at the way he spoke to me and pointing his finger at me he tells me to show him on my phone where it stayed no label/no box required. Once he sees it, he realizes that I wasn't making it up. This is when the guy that was helping me first, throws himself in our conversation and says I never told her she needed a box. Mind you my daughter is listening to all of this taking place. Straight out he lied and the owner did nothing to help the situation. Naturally, he had heard the entire conversation between him and I as he was just inches away from me. Of course he had told me to buy a box. Otherwise, why would I have been told to speak to the owner and so rudely be ask to show the owner on the amazon app where it stayed no box needed. I mean let's get real!!!!! Was I really the first person returning amazon items to his store where I had selected the no label/no box option?????? NO WAY I WAS THE FIRST PERSON!!!!!!The Asian owner is so full of it. He was just trying to get me to buy a box when he KNOWS that it is not required. SHAME ON HIM for being so dishonest and overtly cheap. I'm going to contact ups and file a formal complaint against him and his store and inform Amazon as well. As we left the store my daughter says to me "mom how could that man lie like that?" I said to her "it's not so upsetting that he lied, but rather how the owner would allow him to treat his customers like that!!!.... basically, the owner enjoys this ill treatment because he has trained the black guy to do his dirty work!!! Horrible customer service between owner and what seemed to be his wife. I came in to return two small items from Amazon. When I explained what needed to be returned, the wife rolled her eyes and threw up her hands and walked away mid-explanation that it was under one return. The owner, who was listening to our 5 second exchange, came back to the counter with his wife and questioned what I wanted to do with raised voices when I tried to explain the same. They refused to believe that I could ship the return items together when I brought both items in a manila envelope. After some back and forth and showing them the QR code on my phone, they finally understood the return, but continued to act huffy. As I left the store, they blatantly complained about me in Mandarin. My interaction with them was under 5 minutes, however in that amount of time I wish I read the Google and Yelp reviews before choosing this location. Although I understand English is not their first language, the owners berate customers quickly because they lack patience in communication. Instead of attempting to understand the customer, their technique resorts to repeating themselves in a condescending manner. Their lack of customer service and their holier than thou attitude is why I will choose another store further way to avoid their business in the future. read more

The lady behind me asked if she can just drop something off and he yelled at her to stop and hold on.
